Dude i want to ask you.... In a dry cell there is negatively charged cathode and positively charged anode ...ok So normally we say electrons flow from negative side to positive side... But cathode is negatively charged which means it accepts the positive electons from anode..... So the direction of flow should be from andode to cathode.....so why it is called as the flow is from negative side to positive side...

You said that the flowing electrons neutralises positive charge at cathode, because of electrolysis again excess positive and negative charge will get accumulated. So here the battery is supplying electrons.please clarify my doubt

The chemical energy gets converted to electrical energy. And if you want to charge the battery( with a direct current source), the electrical energy gets converted to chemical energy and gets stored in the cell or battery

Please clarify this for me. For a long time he said things move from high potential to low potential. But when he started talking about the battery (6:40), he said electrons move from low potential to high potential. This confuses people. Thanks for your help in advance.

Lower potential. Electrons flow from low to high potential And electric current flow from high to low potential

Sir i wanted to ask a question i mean in first half u said battery does not provides any charge it just creates a potential difference but than in the later half u said that there happens a chemical reaction in the battery which creates a potential difference and due to which the charges move from high potential to low so sir the battery is providing charges by the chemical reaction how come u said its not

Too confusing lesson in the World... 1. What is use of electrons inside the conductor itself if the charge moves from anode to Cathode due to chemical reaction. 2 . You said electron flows from lower to higher potential means waterfall can run from ground up to origin!!! In real no electron moves it is just a transfer of energy due to the repulsive force among electrons.
