This is the sixth part of my video series "Working on Outcast - A New Beginning". I have officially joined the production of the long awaited sequel "Outcast - A New Beginning" and I am working together with Appeal Studios and THQ Nordic on the upcoming game for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. In this episode, I discuss the creation of the Lore Lexicon, which is an in-game database for all the creatures, characters and Agazork terms of the game.

Honestly, just having the soundtrack in the background is enough to make me watch the entire video lol, but besides that I must agree that a complete and improved Lexicon will really be very interesting, I'll enjoy seeing what was written and highlighted for creatures and others.

Ich hab nur mehr eine Frage. Wann kann ich endlich das Spiel vorbestellen. Ich will es unbedingt in meiner Steam Bibliothek Liste haben und verzweifelt jeden Tag zu versuchen es zu Installieren. Ach ja, das selbe gilt auch für meine Xbox.

Will there be collectible diary entrys, like found pergamens, etc like in Horizon Zero Dawn?

Yes and no. The diaries are written Journals hidden in the open World. You need to find all pages if you want to know everything. The other lore sections feature images like the creatures and are unlocked either by first encounter them or by Talan explaining stuff to you. Eventually, you can unlock then all.
