Big thanks to Coach Chris Taylor for 1) The Wiggins Jr footage and 2) for a comment on “Twirly Bird 2.0” that originally got me thinking about counterweight stuff all those months ago.
This is actually something I've never really thought about...but lord my left side is opening up like crazy after looking at some footage. Awesome insight as usual Josh
I think it was easier to relate hearing the real questions from some one else and then you answering. And then seeing the difference in his form following your instructions. I think seeing the real improvement makes in more believable how important the instructions are. And it's good to have a pro doing this, since a beginner would most often not be able to do the adjustments and perhaps not be able to ask the right questions either.@@OverthrowDiscGolf
Well Josh, think its time to take down that wall behind the teepad and bring Conrad in there. I can say that seeing him live "rims keep spinnin" long after the disc came to a stop. Dudes got spiiiiiiiin!
He is swooping so bad. Evan you are not coming through like you think you are(based on your slow swings) and apparently Overthrow didn't notice? You hand is above your elbow. Look at it in slow motion.
@@paavoraty1934 we don’t have a video on the topic yet. What we know though is that there are pros that “swoop” and throw real far. There are a couple of reasons you can see a swoop and not all of them are bad.
Most swooping is caused by people’s individual natural swing planes. Which is why other pros look like they’re throwing everything on hyzer, even on their anny shots, where they still somehow go low to high. “Swooping” is just throwing more high to low, but with the right complementing nose angle it’s a non-factor
@@OverthrowDiscGolf we also see pros throw incorrectly in other ways and you don’t teach those things. :) I’ll give that there is a range and a little swoop won’t kill you. But if you are trying to help people improve shouldn’t you aim for what will make the improve the most? 🤷♂️
