Your river bedrock metal detecting videos are my most favorite. Question: do you think that the gold you find is something that the old timers have missed because they didn't have the metal detecting technology, or these are "recent" (from 5-10 years ago or so) deposits from the gold ore falling into river from the surrounding cliffs?

I was racking my brain to see if I could remember what "getting your cod up" meant. Then I finally realized he was telling us that he's "getting us caught up". My fault. I'm from Atlantic Canada and they're always talking about cod around here.
