My Grandfather cussed me and my cousins out for using the N word and all the Latino tropes because we’re mixed. He said our Great Grandpa that was a slave gave him five across the eyes the first time he dropped the N Bomb. Told him that no black, white, green, orange person has the right to use the word that was used to degrade him because they weren’t there and it was hell. That people need to let that word die, especially us black folk because we use the word as a compliment and it’s not.
As a woman, I don't use the N word and I hate hearing it. For my own peace of mind, I categorize it as profanity. For anyone who wants to stop using it, I know of one Black man who saw the movie Twelve Years A Slave and said that immediately made him stop. He completely removed the N word from his vocabulary from that day forward.

It's disappointing to see someone you care about make statements that make it difficult to rock with them. People aren't always easy to love. Do what you must, Bucky. Bucky, all those words were so mean and hurtful that Mr. Garcia said. The Bible says, in Luke ,”…out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks”. There’s no excuse about being intoxicated- that just amplifies what’s already buried deep inside. As a Jamaican, things here don’t affect me as much when it comes to racism but for you all, who were born here and see and know all the things one had to endure as an African American and a black man, this is tough. This is definitely a moment for education, taking responsibility for his actions and fixing what was done. That was difficult to hear especially with George Floyd and trying to define the ‘N’ word. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. It doesn’t matter whether u have been saved a day or 10 years God does not condemn you for ur mistakes. When u say there is no excuse that is implying that u r judging him. That said, because we have a chance and grace from God to repent we can. We can be responsible for our mistakes or sins but that doesn’t mean that we r condemned. We should all realize that this was a mistake out in the open, but then think, what about what we have hidden inside that hasn’t been exposed? Yea Garcia’s mistake was exposed but praise God because he now has a problem that can be dealt with, but yet there will still be people who have a bunch of crap inside that they have no idea about and hasn’t been delt with so there’s that.
