We are lucky to have you! In the last 18 months or so aged 70 years I bought my first chainsaw after over 54 years on playing with everything else both professionally and as a hobbyist. I am agog (a grumpy old git) About a month ago I bought my first Jobu L800 for a silly price. Guy didn't know what he had and neither did I. So well built so much metal. I have fallen for Macs, Huskies and Dolmars as well. Er I don't have a Sthil other than modern Combi unit stuff. Lovely to see you sharing in the workshop. Keep on keeping all on. Thank you.

I love the sound of those stinger exaust stacks! They disturb the peace and there is no doubt about that sound. I have six of those saws in my collection, one C-51,Three C-52, one C-5, One C-9 and have owned them for several years and have never gotten around to starting any of them! I have 140 chainsaws, And I know you can understand that it's hard to run that many saws all the time? And I have some ripper saws that are so fun to put in a large Douglas fir log and watch the steady stream of chips flying out the bottom of the saw! 😋 great information brother! And I used to live in Toledo Oregon and still live in Portland Oregon.
I have an issue with my Homelight, C5, one the little fingers that come out to grab onto the little cup that turns the engine oil on the recoil are not gripping it. They’re dragging along it, but they won’t grab it. I took it apart, cleaned. It was brake cleaner put a tiny bit grease. Put it back together. Still doesn’t work. Not sure if I can get parts.
