Our Story: In 2018 we left the UK to come to Gita’s family homestead here in north Latvia, not far from the Estonian border and now we live somewhere nowhere in the middle of a forest in a house built by Gita’s grandfather. We’re videoing our journey and trying to give you some insights into how we’re living here.

I’d put a few vases on them 😂 Absolutely lovely. I’m impressed (again).

The old pin gun is a great tool isn't it? I get through tens of thousands of brads a year. Mad how much I use it.

That is good that you didn't put any wood on the back of them just in case you could in the future though the same with doors

My Latvian dad had a woodworking shop in the garage. He was self-taught as well. Just thinking. Since you live so close to Estonia, do any of you speak the language? It is so different from Latvian whereas Lithuanian is close.

No we don’t speak any Estonian, I would love to learn though.
