Had been there just this weekend. Other than the people hogging the exhibits for pictures, and noisy kids rolling on the floor and running around, it was a great experince.
I already imagined this for many years, it is amazing to see it! the constructions and the architecture of the near future will be even more sensational, they will be holographic, sensitive to touch or not, with barriers or that can be passed through them. I thought about this since I saw the virtual armor of the Egyptian jackal soldiers from the stargate movie in 1994.
walls, completely virtual buildings, holographic walls that can be passed through them or not, as programmed. goodbye to brick and cement, goodbye to steel, glass, wood, goodbye to doors, doors and windows will be the walls themselves.
Most of the modern art is nothing but crap meant to be thrown out. But Japan has brought a whole new level of art and creativity, Thank You Japan for opening our eyes of true beauty
Isaac Benjamin yes, it’s called Future World at artscience museum Singapore. It’s also by TeamLab I believe. However The Borderless indeed is the first digital art museum because the one in Singapore is an exhibition apparently
WHITE, walking through a dark, carpeted hallway, Set on fire by the gentle light of a million, blooming flowers. That's how it was in the beginning. It was surreal. It was beyond magical. It was like light bent around your exhaltant face. It was like a spotlight illuminated every person like a celestial. Walking through a timeless space. I highly recommend knowing absolutely nothing about the exhibits, nothing about its interior, nothing about its amenties. Explore it, because each room is a mystery with a joyous purpose. Each one was a secret, hidden gem. Completely lost and wandering around in a daze. Peeking into random, unobtrusive doors to step into a kaleisdescpore of color. Walking through a vast, grand gateway into a serene paradise. All you know is that you are hidden in the darkness between rooms. A shooting star in the vastness of space, landing between the stars and planets. There are companions with you in each exhibit. They paint with their prescence alone. Some spend their entire time in one room, gazing up. Some spend split their time in each room, wandering in constant flux. It can get crowded, so discover the areas hidden from the rest. The Floating Nest. The Light Vortex. A stairwell over a gleaming waterfall. Serene music plays and sometimes the light plays with it. Bring your own music to re-experience everything when you get home. Take pictures and hold them dear to your heart. It's been two years since I went to Tokyo, dreaming with eyes wide open. Since then I could only experience again by reading the Night Circus, or listening to All The Stars. teamLab has created so much more than framed drawings on an empty white wall It has made you its centerpiece, and filled the gaps with everything in between.
