I love the freaking kid, bless your heart for sharing the kid in this hobby and not telling them to leave, thank you you for making the kid feel like you guys can share hobbies, need more fathers like you.
The biggest treasure you found was the time spent with your child ..that's a memory you both will share for a lifetime..well done my friend..keep up the videos great fun!
what a great find, and your kiddo was so happy and enthused to be a part of it, and for those that complained about a child being a part of his fathers life, if you need a break from your child then you need not be around children at all. children are gifts, treat them as such.
It’s awesome that your kid is involved, not only involved but he sounds quite intelligent in this. His show and tell says in school are going to be interesting!
This is definitely not a fake video. The rolls are sealed and they opened most of them live. Congrats on the awesome score! It is possible to find barbers in roles guys. It’s rare but can happen if someone dumps a collection.
One of my finest memories with my father was looking through his coin collection together as a child. Very cool that you included him, he won't forget it!
Always enjoy your videos stackattack! The second time I CRH'd I went to small town bank and bought all the halves they had been holding onto for who knows how long. I could tell the bank manager was glad to get rid of them too. $420, all hand rolled. I was shocked to find 10 complete rolls of silvers in the bunch! Almost all 40% but 7 90% including 1 Franklin and 1 Walker! Keep up the good videos and happy hunting, Dave.
Finding a barber in circulation is like finding an Indian head in circulation. It can happen but very rare. Now to find 3...that's just insane. Amazing.
Just started the roll hunting for silver coins. the first two box of half dollar, I couldn't find any single silver. But on the second attempt, You guys can't imagine, what I have found. 1968 - 10 coins 1967 - 5 coins 1966 -1 Coin 1965 - 2 Coins 1964 - 4 coins 1962 - 2 Coins Ben Franklin 1951 - 1 Coin Ben Franklin 1942 - 1 Coin Walking Liberty Keep Hunting guys good Luck.
It's videos like this that makes me wish, sometimes, that I lived in the USA, just so can hunt half-dollars. Awesome finds!! I could tell right away this was a legitimate hunt, the way your hands were shaking from the excitement!! So awesome!! The Easter Bunny definitely found you!!
Anybody claiming this is fake has never roll hunted great quantities before, or are just jealous. I remember the roll hunting days of 2008-2010. Friends of mine found multiples of this back then and I myself found stuff I thought extremely rare. The early 2000’s were the Golden days of this hobby indeed. Congratulations on the finds.
Thanks! Always will be folks who think it's fake. I found one barber in another hunt before. Can you imagine doing this in the 70s and 80s? What are folks going to do in 40 years that they look back and think we had treasure laying all over the place. That's what we need to figure out!
@@stackattack I'm a teacher and that got to be a bit much for me. Wont be stopping back. Sorry. You had a good thing, but sometimes we all need a break from kids.
Amazing! Today I lucked out too I got Indian head pennys online before but today I almost had a heart attack I was getting horrible coins and then I see a Indian head back flip out and it's a 1904 this is the happiest day of my life!!!!
I remember once my grandfather gave me a box and said keep the silvers you find, open it up, nothing for the first half, kept digging, and I found what I think was a stack dump of 14 walkers/Benjamins, it was incredible
We are just getting into this and going to start with a penny box. But we did order a half dollar box that will be in on Thursday. We can’t wait to break into it
Hey there! I'm new to this whole concept. What exactly is your process/purpose in all this? Is it solely for collection, or to turn a profit? If the latter, what is your process? Do you just buy up a bunch of coins, return the commons then sell off the silvers? How do you go about selling the silvers? Just curious :)
Every time I see one of your good hunts, I want to hit the banks the next day! I've never seen a Barber outside a coin shop. You'll have to have those appraised.
Great stuff, those "Barbers" are real nice coins and it must have been super exciting to find them, well done also on getting your son into some decent hobbies instead of leaving him to play on those poisonous brain rotting games consoles like so many parents do, he seems to be really enjoying the coin hunt which is a good thing as it's a fun, good old fashioned hobby which is very thrilling and great fun too 😁😁
I recently bought $500 worth the quarters and dimes and did not find one silver coin. It's ok because I save the clad coins too as hard money. Unlike paper currency coins are backed by at least the metals they contain like copper and nickel.
Wow! Congrats! My local antique store sell barbers for the price of a half dollar roll, so I have a bunch of them, but I could never imagine finding them in a roll! Plus New Orleans! Wow!
Oh my god your sons voice is adorable 😂😂😂 Thank you for sharing I used to work at an Indian casino and save tons of silver 50cents peice. This is so fun I am soooo rich$$$$$
Incredible box. Congrats. I found a Barber ender once and are very rare to find period. Finding three in a box is next to impossible. You beat the odds for sure. Well done!
@@stackattack one of those once in a lifetime moments. I would sat they are pretty rare to get hold of and the ones in circulation have most likely been picked.
@@stackattack your right. Very lucky your coinage hasn't really changed. In ireland it has gone through three changes. Debasement in the early 40's. Decimilization in 67 and Euro in 2002. So no change of getting any circulated silver. 💥
