On November 1, 2023, we celebrate »World Ballet Day«, a big anniversary! For 10 years, ballet ensembles around the world have been giving live insights into their classes. This year, the Semperoper Ballett is participating again. Starting at 10 am you can watch our dancers training with our Artistic Manager Marcelo Gomes.

It`s so relaxing to watch this beautiful class with the lovely Mr. Gomez and the great pianist, how lovely for the dancers to work in this atmosphere.

Brilliantly choreographed class with such inspiring music. Marcello has evolved into such a great teacher and shaper of young ballet talent. Semperoper is lucky to have this great dancer as artistic director.

I loved the combinations of movements by Mr. Gomez. He's been one of my favorite dansuers and very happy to see him in charge of this troupe. Good dancers you have here.
