World Class Trout Fishing Along the West Virginia Railroad 

West Virginia is blessed with countless miles of well stocked trout waters and while most of them get flooded with anglers there are sections of systems that provide serenity and the opportunity to catch quality trout while social distancing. This is the case with the Buckhannon River where the West Virginia Division of National Resources partners with A&O Railroad to load trout onto rail cars and stock them in holes along a 15-mile stretch accessible only by walking along the tracks.
