Clydesdale horses played a huge part in the heritage of Scottish agriculture and 125 years ago, back when RSABI was established, these gentle giants of the land were in their hay day. Many thanks to Ronnie Black and son Pete who explain why Clydesdales are their passion and how much they are looking forward to the World Clydesdale Show 2022 later this month at P&J Live in Aberdeen. My uncle worked for Ronnie Black so i have had the honour of being able to see some of his top winners as babies he has a lot of love for these beautiful amazing horses

Beautiful. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of black Clydesdales. Keeping on yours and their toes is fun, but better keep them off your toes, ouch is a must. lol They definitely have personalities of their own. I just love them ❤

"Lucky enough never to have to work with them"? I would say unlucky, because working with horses on a farm is very rewarding in itself. They are not just tools, they are partners.

Animals are NEVER TOOLS!!!! If that’s how you view them Your a sad Un empathetic person. The Amish and people like Them run their animals into the ground. THEIR POINT OF VEIW THEYRE MACHINES WHEN THEYRE BROKE ! GET RID OF THEM AT THE KILLER SALE. ( doesn’t matter horses cows sheep goats ect) And How You Treat An Animal Is Most Definitely How YOULL Treat People. THATS A FACT !!!

@@elenacaddell3639 I fully agree. And unfortunately you are also right about the majority of Amish. I met very few who look at this differently. Probably because of the "dominion over the animals", that the Bible teaches them. I have had horses now for sixty years, and I must say the older I get the more I appreciate them and their willingness to cooperate with us.
