Honestly, I hate how people are so limited in creativity there, I tried playing as Galicia, and people kept telling me there is no such thing as Galician people, like bro this isn't real life.

I once roleplayed as Mongolia. I moved the capital from Ulaanbaatar to Choybalsan and someone got so pissy about the change that he SWITCHED to China just to invade me. I put a label down on Mongolia before I left saying "You all can go to hell". Never again. That game is hell tier awful. Edit: Oh yeah he was literally AUSTRIA. Like WHY DO YOU CARE.

This game is actual garbage, I once played as Poland in an alternate universe, I just decided to change my name to “Polish Social Republic” and then a mod came and banned me because “the names wasn’t historically accurate” while it was an alternate universe. Other day I was playing as the Ottoman Empire and I just forgot about the Lybia War because I was focused on the Balkan War, like, EVERYONE from the server went against me because of that, just because I forgot something. There is even another time I was playing Hungary in an unrealistic scenario and I decided to takeover all of the middle east (lol), and then a random came and started fping my country because I was being unrealistic and I was also fping Europe (I was on the Middle East). This shows how this game is absolute garbage.

One time a guy started free painting my country claiming I was doing unrealistic RP because I wasn't being "historically accurate", while the server was litterally an ALTERNATE HISTORY server and eventually reported me on the Discord after a bunch of arguing with some players even saying I wasn't doing anything wrong. I got banned and got infuriated at the player, appealed to get unbanned, got unbanned, and never spent more significant lapses of time in that crappy map game

I used to play this game a lot, all the way back in 2018 is when I started. The game changed over the years, especially its community. It used to be a lot more casual and easy going, everyone was chill with one another and you rarely had arguments. Basically, you could rp whatever you want as long as it was within their quality standard. Eventually, the game started to move away from its simplicity, into a more "realistic" direction. The map changed to basically pixel art, with every single rebellion painted, every dispute, etc. This was also reflected in the community, standards started being raised and eventually it was expected of you to rp as realistic as you possibly could. I returned to the game a few months ago. I was playing a socialist revolution in Ireland in WW2 with completely adequate roleplay standards (I‘m an adept) which ended up with two people calling mods on me because they thought Ireland having a socialist revolution wasn‘t realistic. Admittedly, it wasn’t, but literally no one would‘ve called a mod for that in the old times. The community was also hijacked by political extremists (with a literal taliban supporter in the dev team) but that‘s a whole other topic. WC‘s players are extremely toxic about any topic and most people are know-betters. Add to that the sacking of its longtime co-owner AgentJobo a few years back, who was the only person keeping some normality in the community, and you have what you got now. I‘m disappointed how this game turned out, it‘s a shame, and it‘s not the World Conquest that was my favorite roleplaying game for years. TLDR: The community turned into shit

Game’s all about who can type paragraphs the fastest. I was playing as the French Commune in a Kaiserreich map and I was conquering Free France in Africa, then some guy walks up and undoes it all saying “Syndicalists don’t take colonies.” Then he reversed everything I’d done while I was researching to check if he was telling the truth (I don’t know much about Kaiserreich or Syndicalism). Another time I was playing Napoleonic France (I played France a lot), and I’m supposed to have the most powerful military in Europe at the time. Nope, get invaded on all fronts, despite having another French general to help me, Spain betrayed us and we had no allies, and I lost all battles I tried to fight because people are too damn stubborn and prideful to admit defeat for once in their lives. Literal trash game. Do not play.

the game is unfair, they want everything "Realistic", it's like I once went to Portugal, and a neighbor called Spain invaded a LARGE PART OF THE TERRITORY WITHOUT RP, so I decided to go back and conquer my territory back because spain dont maked RP, he maked Free Paint, and then the people they started saying that I was doing Free Paint, and then I was kicked out. FP = Free paint RP/RPG = Roleplay

It used to be so fun and creative. Now you just get kicked for not being 100% historically accurate

I used to play this type of games when i was a kid but now I realize just how shitty they all are, ranking from the community to the gamestyle itself.

Youre basically forced to have a whole warehouse of copium to even deal with some people pulling random things out their ass, im talking poland invading (and defeating) the soviet union and germany because after writing one paragraph about how glorious polish hussars are suddenly makes cavalry able to destroy german heavy tanks.

i was playing romania in 1936 and the german player got permission from the mods to break one of the rules which was speed typing. he said 4 paragraphs to coup my government in around 5 seconds. spent the entire time arguing with the hungarian player who was an actual nazi over transylvania. me and the bulgarian player became friends and straight up left after germany defeated russia.

Group of people, mostly golden pawns, joined a small server I was in proceeded to void me, (USA) and restored all of my land back to 2022 borders. I rped everything, paragraphs on paragraphs. Exactly why I joined Risk.

All stud games have people like this, hell I’ve seen some in Risk Universalis, but the difference is that the mods actually know what they’re doing (even if they have never seen sunlight in years)

I once had very idiotic gaming. I started as Manchuria, early conquered by Japanese, I heavily invested in economical, rural and infrastructure, reformed schools and so on, which for Japanese puppet country was good. I took out Kwantung Army out early on, forming "Kwantung Redemption Army" as a side force, that will become quite important for later. Communists were spreading rapidly in china, it was standard 1 player on Nationalist, 1 on communist and suprisingly 1 on Guangzhou. Japan also had player, quite conpetent one who allowed me to annex Mengukuo and Later we expanded into nationalists whoch gave me more land to work with and reforms to be done, Japanese didnt do warcrimes in china which was very good, considering that public support was nore than happy about reforms and state of country I later made. Remember i mentioned about communists ? I did heavily fought with it, outlawing it, propaganda etc... Japan was left without a player, someone went DRPK and liberated themselves, they got help from my military. Japan fell, Communist China took over Nationalists. I was free as Semi-Cons. Monarchy. Then Chinese decided to attack me, they somehow crossed the yellow river, and "easily broke through thanks to srtillery". This got me annoyed, they expected me to RP using Artillery ? Id like to acknowledge them divisions normally ARE given artillery squadrons, which would literally obliterate them crossing the river due to me having superior weaponry and veteran troops (Second Sino-Jap, Border conflict with soviets, War with Japs you get me). I then estsblished new frontline on mountains, they brought through by using artillery ? You gonna carry non-self propelled arty on mountains ? Okay... (once again, My artillery was already there but I didnt rp it cuz duh, it was in with the divisions) And then TWO mf joined. One was roleplaying as Kwantung Army who fought against me by murdering civs on countryside. (Reminder: I formed kwamtung redemption army, and the Kwanting Army itself was disbanded, there would be no way for them to arm themselves since weapon laws were strict and they weren't communist) Then somehow communists revolted, Manchuria had decent supply of food saved up as a result of being surrounded by 4 communist countries and expecting a war, public support was high because Communist china took heavy casualties (literally choosing worst places to attack) and there was pretty much no communists in Manchuria ? And they somehow got weapons "magically" transported through border by DRPK and Mongolia. So they used non existing army, non existing communists in Manchuria and non existing food issues to win the war ? I get some are good CRPers but...i didnt RP artillery means division are just man ? Bruh....

I was trying to play as a Polish rebellion one time in 1897, and I tried being extremely realistic (it was good enough to initially work), but then a German player randomly tried helping me by being unrealistic and almost got be blamed for it. I mean, the rest of the time I was there was kind of eh, but Germany also tried to make me into a puppet, even though they were unrealistic and my rebellion was for true independence from Russia

my friend made a country called rick-rollia with a frame of never gonna give you up as the flag, he was banned immediately by a mod after calling him a 'vulgar maggot'

I got perm banned because someone painted Superman with a penis on Africa so I used the revert tool thing but when I reverted it was all messed up because some previously free painted there so when they check it said I freepainted all over Africa and when I tried explaining they claimed that I was a degenerate messing with their game 💀 Like honestly just play risk. There was a guy in Austria mad at me because I apperantly annoyed him for some reason (idk) I spend 100 hours in the game. The same Austria guy got a moderator to ban me for naming my country "womp womp republic" I know... I broke the rules but... It was my first warning. But then the same moderator saw the same country which he warned me for and perm banned me. Yeah. Permban because a moderator forgot he already warned me. 2 TIMES. This game is a literal joke. I beg you not to spend your precious time on this game. (I can mention some moderators abusing their powers in the game stories which I saw if you want me to)

Honestly I play this game and agree with this guy as a guest, the gameplay is pretty fun for me when I make nation's empire's but the things that annoy me the most is the adepts and inthiates thinking they know everything. I just mind my business and go along my day and then they call me "frp" and holy they always say "LOL" which pisses me off, "cope" when they lose an argument "do you realize that _______" and Every time I take a single pixel they decide to have a outrage stating every reason why my attack was "frp" "SRP" or "fp", but usually I rp by myself to have a better experience and with other guest & conquers, for u new players I recommend not trying to get into any arguments or study for history as not to get banned THREE times like I did. I played as british india and some guy wanted to revolt in india with no cause of revolt. I then massacred the indian population and took back land with rp and accused me of fp and gor me kicked.

One of the most annoying things i've experienced, isn't related with the community (kinda) is a story where i was playing as croatia and Italy randomly invaded me so naturally i decimated him but right when i was about to finish him off the server rested.... Aside from that i think the community sucks so many toxic users especially among high ranks i've seen people get basic facts about history wrong like irish support during ww2,...

I used to play world conquest when it was actually good and has good moderation, i even got intermediate conqueror or whatever that was. Soon I quit and went on to Risk Universalis, as it is better now.

This is why I always play on private servers in these games

back when the game was still fun, there was a random spain player that decided to invade me (italy) while i was afk, which from what i remember is a moderate rule being broken. i had to tell multiple times and even get the help of a france player to convince spain to give back my land. btw when i came back spain's rp looked like this "200k troops invade italy". def not something allowed in world conquest. better version would be "200k troops land in italy, they split in groups and start making defenses, then they bomb their enemies with artillery until they can send the troops to fight them directly. due to hills, they start having problems and progress slows down". btw when that happened i would have done rp better than what i typed if i decided to fight. (if you couldnt tell by "they start making defenses then they bomb their enemies with artillery until they can send their troops to fight directly" this happened in 1910-1920. when that happened, 1910 and 1914 werent merged into 1912. i was playing on 1910

World Conquest. Try playing priv instead, I play it everyday and try to avoid major nations and adepts and etc, that way youe gameplay will be WAY better and this is from a person that was banned and appealed successfully.

conquerors and above are chill im initiate and a few are chill but everything is horrible once you hit adept. you could try to send this vid in the discord and see if the initiate in the vid has any consequences but i wouldn't be suprised if nothing happens
