How about this challenge? Form every single formable nation by releasing yourself after forming one. So for example start as Luxembourg and take the Benelux and form it, then annex Denmark and release as Denmark to conquer Scandinavia and form Nordic empire. Continue this hell until you formed every single one.
im not sure that this will word because of formable nations like rome, byzantium and the imperial federation, but it does sound like a interesting idea
@@neonredfox3579 I am talking about the decisions you click when you have the correct lands in control to form the nation. I am not interested in nations who need the focus tree. It probably still won't work because it would drive most of us insane but if anyone can make it through it's this guy.
Video ideas: 1 world conquest with only artillery in the division and nothing else(no navy, air, tanks, infantry) 2 World conquest but you need to touch grass (impossible)
There is a guy who done that, during world conquest as Iceland (before arms against tyranny) and he really lacked mp ans recourses so he microed through every province
I think this would be easier if you put your support equipment into maintenance companies to steal more equipment. At sufficiently favorable trades (closing pockets, port traps, even sufficient entrenchment) you outright gain equipment from combat itself. Plus you lose less generally on won battles due to recapture. I was really surprised to not see it on the template you showed.
The Equipment Capture Ratio mechanic doesnt work in HOI 4. Its definition is ''Percentage of the equipment that will be captured from enemy loses''. It counts if they lose it in something like lines too yes, but even if you pocket the enemy it assumes they destroy their equipment. Lets say you pocket a division with 9 infantry battalions or 900 guns and like 55 sup eq, you can only get 135 guns and 8 sup eq with the 1942 tech (15%) and 90 and 5 for the 1939 (10%). Its good for reliability bonus but not for this mechanic. People saying this for years. There should be only a destroy mechanic. A base value with the bonus of engi comp should destroy whatever they find, then the rest can be captured. And the maint comp as a recovery from the destroyed things, like fixing the the damaged things that enemy couldnt fully destroy in the hurry.
@@wolficik0000 If you're doing a challenge run with literally 0 factory building anything, having 90 more guns at the end of closing a pocket is better than 0 guns at the end of closing it. But it's the combination of that + you losing less in the first place that makes it worthwhile for challenges like this. The way it's actually handled is buggy and inconsistent too. You don't even get the full 10% sometimes, while other times you can generate equipment out of thin air. Regardless of all that, putting it on is well worth it if literally the only stuff you're using is stuff you're taking from the enemy, because it more than pays for the cost in support equipment to run it.
@@TheMelnTeam Its actually the opposite for this kind of challanges. Main goal is to finish pockets only if you have to and capitulate Countries fast without inflicting more damage. 1:20 is a good example, Burger didnt closed the Polish pockets. Capping Poland gave solid 50% and 11k guns. If he did closed all of the pockets that worths 15+ divisions he wouldnt even get half of it and the pockets 90% of the equipment would just vanish (even with the 2nd tech). But when Burger capitulated Sweden, he only got 400 and like 10% of the divisions that pocketed. Reliability boost doesnt mean a thing; you can check the wiki and atrition under the Land Units section, the number of equipment matters more. Your 1000 guns and 90% reliability doesnt really atrition already. its 0.05 . attrition% . max(1 , 10) per hour even with 100% attrition and worst roll of 10 its half a gun per hour, for division. Even if you make it a 100% attrition never ends. By adding maint comp over an engi comp you only go from 30 to 55. Without the attrition For the sup eq: the 4th tech and maint comp with its new reliability max(1 , 0.5) but with the 4th tech max(1 , 0.22) but bringing double the amount to the battle and losing more. Very buggy and old mechanics that sometimes doesnt even work. Eq captures base value is 0 (a fucking zero) like they perfectly destroy everything if you surrender them but if you want to delete something from your stockpile it waits a whole year to be destroyed. Reliability is a joke itself too, who thought it was a good idea to add the number of equipment to the equation ? Even if you do the lower amount should favor the realiability, it should be easier to look after less equipment. 1000 guns with 90% reliability is max(1 , 10) but 100 artillery with 0% reli is also max(1 , 10). By simple reason and logic that artillery piece cant even fit issued shell to its mount, let alone breaking down the same amount per hour. Let alone history its not even balanced. Sometimes its hard to understand what Paradox is doing.
@@legitburgerHOI4 IMO they'd be best as 1st thing you add as support equip, rather than after logs/engineers/etc. There are two points where they matter: capturing enemy equipment + equipment recapture of own losses (due to reliability increase). Per the wiki, it is possible to generate equipment outright if you have enough divs involved in a fight using recapture alone (IE guns from nowhere), but even if you don't do that, I'd imagine they'd pay for themselves pretty fast in this kind of challenge.
@@legitburgerHOI4It would be difficult, true. But it would also probably be the greatest achievement that any HOI4 player ever managed to do! So I highly encourage you to try this.
When invading miami, you could have put all of your obtained CAS and park your fleet on the neighboring tile. The org loss from planes and shore bombardment penalties, you might have just managed to destroy the encircled divisions
I just don't get it, I don't get how you do it, world conquest with only two and now with 0 factories, this man is an insane genius, honestly, the best is I can say is congratulations and good job, thanks you.
New challenge use only Spies and diplomacy to get a world conquest as a faction do you get 0 divisions and only your allies can attack coup's are up to you (Like this so he will see it)
i think it would be easier to make a modded national idea that adds like 999999999% consumer goods so u dont have to worry about trade factories or the ones u get from conquering ppl
Here is a cool challange, go through all the steps to get Jan Mayen (aka getting Wojtek the bear as the king of poland and controlling Jan Mayen island), release it and then conquer the world
Would be interesting a challenge you can only get weapons through the maintenance companies or the scavengers trait (idk if you used this strat or not)
I’d like to introduce a new strategy for a world conquest, total preparation, basically you build as much factories as possible and acquire as much recourses as possible before going to war, and continue researching, establish max trained troops and begin your total victory
Video idea: Wc but someone who never played hoi tell you who to attack, project diviosns, tanks, planes, naval.what to build and what to research. Addition to challeng:its your girlfriend(impossible)
Here's an small challenge for you, conquer any major nation by any nation (big or small dont care) using only 30 combat width of 2 division (inf, art, tank i dont care), you can use only air support of max 5 wings (500 of any kind of planes) good luck since its only 1 major nation as any nation. 😊
bro how you can capitulate the fucking entire world with 0 factories??????? i´cant even captitulate the romania playing as yugusloavia with modded focus tree and 80 divisions
if u had a mod, u could have made all factories vanish as soon as u touch the states lol. it would defnitely be harder cuz even during war they would be gone, so no chance to cheat a bit during war
How were you able to get the 80 transport planes requiered for the paradroP? im pretty sure Germany only starts with like 12 and the AI doesnt produce any
