12:14 think you threw a bit here, going mola gave flareon a free entry which forced you to sack bellibolt which could've been useful into the last mon or as a sack later. if you'd volt switched to samurott instead then you could jet the flareon or hard switch into mola if they go dipplin, even if they predicted you and doubled back it would've been the same situation as before. great set though
Yeah I'm struggling to understand why they went to abomisnow on toxicroak? What was they predicting? Poison or fighting move it will struggle and if it boosts abomisnow isn't really gonna punish I guess it was a sac? Feels weird. I'm not sure if toxicroak outspeaks cincinno, although Im guessing it didn't.
Do you guys think I can get to like 2000 ELO in OU or randoms of if I put a few months in? I think if I were in like high school or early college i could be a beast but I’m 30 now. Think I have a decent laymen’s grasp of the game. I want to try singles and doubles but I want to be more than decent lol
Imo the harder part of Pokemon is team building. I'm a similar age to you. I have hit 2k in Randbats, but can't get far off the ground in any other format. I could put more time and effort in to be fair, but still.
dont think 2000 elo in ou is really a thing. i also dont think being 30 is going to hinder you too much like it might in other games. 2000s is extremely attainable in rands once you get a feel. ladder below that point is full of 10 year olds and even 2000s elo players love to make bad plays all the time. honestly all it really takes is playing many, many games
2000 elo in current gen OU is like, top 10 on the ladder which is probably not realistic in only a few months, but 2000 randbats is super achievable. I spent a couple months grinding randbats at the beginning of sv and got to around 2200 with not much prior experience
