+Jillian Michelle I see a whole lotta awkward grips and squeezing problems, the bases had the reload grip weird when it was coming down Moses with the flyer sticking but out so when the went to go back up they weren't sturdy enough.
For the past two years they've hit beautifully day 1 and were in first. Day two comes and they die. I love stars soooo much, watching this was painful. I believe in you guys
Their baskets are gorgeous, it's not even fair to compare them to other Large All Girl teams (I'm specifically thinking of Orange) because theirs are double the height and unique.
Givemesomemoe Walker They've been cleaner in the past though, aside from 2014. In 2014 they were pretty messy, which is why Orange beat them (technique). 2015 was pretty clean actually, same as their technique, which is why they scored quite high. BUT, it's like they stepped back from their 2015 cleanness, and now they're pretty sloppy this year.
Kristina Nicole I'm not saying they won't globe. They will get top 3. But, we have to understand, Worlds and NCA scoring is quite different. NCA goes by Varsity scoring while Worlds doesn't. With the new Usasf scoring rubric for worlds, technique is now worth the same as difficulty (being 10 points each for every category). So all teams with poor technique, transitions, and execution will not score well on the rubric. That applies to all teams from all divisions. If Stars don't clean up, they can't win because their difficulty score isn't high enough to save them from the technique score, and also because the technique score is too substantial.
they also had a stunt omission (Gianna didn't do her double down i believe) and the judges counted Katie's stunt as two falls since she was on the ground twice : (
Love them , but it's sad to see that some of girls barely even do the motions or withtout any energy :/ I hope they fixed this because we can see everything and everyone at worlds :o
