I’ve been going here since the eighties with my dad. He used to sell incense to a vendor in the mart. I always get the turkey tails, gizzards, and jojos. Great pick JL, my son is pumped up about the chicken sandwich, I didn’t know they had one.

I just found your channel. I am 62 yrs old and I grew up eating JoJos. My dad used to bring us to Columbus Farmers market in 70s almost every week on a Friday or Saturday night. Hr was in Air Force at McGuire when it was still McGuire and then he retired and we moved to Mt Holly but he would bring us there and we usually got 5lbs of JoJos there was a total of 6 of us there was never any left over JoJos Absolutely the best I have introduced many of my friends to JoJos I also worked for a fast food place called Gino's and we sold KFC chicken and I still gravitate to Chocken Coop everytime I try and go a couple of times a month to get JoJos My other fave is Kate and Al's pizza with Red cream soda.

The Amish pastries are to die for especially the coconut cream cake OMGGG ❤️❤️❤️The fried chicken/jojo's are ok a lil pricey but definitely delicious FRESH out the oil.

JL that's my spot. Of all the places to go to At Columbus Market though, I hope you try and experience the Amish Restaurant at the end of lane & to the right of the Chicken Coup. Its only open on Thusdays Fridays and Saturdays but the food there is the best. There's always a long line during lunch hour but you have the try their Ribs / Chicken meals. I don't think they'll allow you to film within because of their religious beliefs and lack of vanity but I believe you won't be disappointed.
My favorite place! I used to live in jersey in the 90’s and I went to Columbus every weekend You missed the best the gizzards they are the best gizzards ever 🥰🥰

I am hungry now! Big chicken is pumped up chicken, and not usually in a good sense, meaning chemicals in their food to pump them up. For me when I have found locations like that with huge chicken, it usually does not taste right, so I will usually not go back again unless they change their supplier. I don't need extra chemicals or unhealthy chicken in my diet, especially if it is fried chicken.
