It will the a couple of years of practice but people will get it down and become pro at racing the MX bikes you watch, then they will have pro MX bike races!
Way harder on a track, I thought I had pretty good control then took it to a track this weekend and way way harder to control. Just like anything new this is going to take some practice.
they need to build a SX track where most turns are 180-degree bowl bank turns, they see to do well with those and then have decent size rhythm sections. The good drivers will be able to do different rhythms consistently, but the problem here is those little bumps for the jumps like the triple will kick the back end over their heads almost every time as you see. They need to be way taller and bigger, so they are already having a straight trajectory into the air and not getting bucked/kicked into the air like a curbed lip on a mx jump. That track and those jumps aren't built right for the dirt bikes. Once they figure that out it will be way more entertaining and fun even for the fans and we will start to see where this new hobby of racing can go. I bet we all will be impressed once they figure out what works and what doesn't.
consider make some changes on the course ; remasue the jumps , let the motor make climbs , down hill maybe like de real ones those gards seam to be to agressive for the motor . isee a lot of renovation on the courses
@@thatsmyrc yeah it was suppost to arrive in europe in July.. but there has been a delay… now it’s august they say… could easily last another few weeks 😰😂
@@thatsmyrc dang, I know Horizon Hobby had some issues when they did a system update on the 4th causing some problems with orders. Sucks you had to wait so long, but at least you’ll be ripping on that bike soon! 🤘🏻
Nice video. Maybe next time you guys can start at the beginning of the straightway where the yellow bar where the timing line is so you guys can launch straight
I agree, a wider track would be much easier to handle with these. Also some berms in the corners would be great, but it was still super fun and challenging 💪🏻
We are running the trackmate timing system. I had it run from the receiver under the left shroud and mounted up on the bar pad and some of the guys had it mounted up on the front fender.
I have a sr5 and when I first got it I couldn’t believe how difficult the r to control ,heaps of practice for these dirt bikes ! So well done, u all did well. Greetings Portsmouth England 🏴
@@nobody617 Well tbh I call them a berm here in the UK and was unsure at the time and If i remember I did actually look it up what people in the US call them :) haha & no worries man.
I guess the gyro helps a ton on the new Lossi, these seem to have gotten popular fast. I had an electric street bike as a kid in the late 70s but they never were popular all this time. The price and big ni cad packs didn't help but it was still a blast. My rider, Ole Scooter had major road rash. On his suit and helmet.
They are a blast! It’s nice to finally have a new rc dirt bike on the market. Yeah the gyro on them is stout. It definitely helps keep them upright, but also makes the turning a bit of a fight sometimes 🤣 haha that is awesome! Thanks for watching, and glad you enjoyed!
This is great! These will definitely be the next RC craze. I think track layout might need to be adjusted just for the wide turning radius of these bikes, and it seems like we need a marshal every six feet to keep the race going. So cool to be involved in RC when a whole new class of racing is being created.
Cool race. Would like to see some close up shots of them jumping. I think taking your time is the best bet to win, consistency is the kee, not speed. Am I wrong. Thanks for video
Thanks glad you enjoyed! As long as the weather holds up this weekend we are planning to have another race, so I will hopefully be able to get some more footage 🤘🏻 and consistency is most definitely what will win races with these bikes!
Heck yeah, we had a great time! I agree, under the lights I struggled hard. Hopefully next time is better 🤣 I’d really like to give them a try too, I’d bet there is a noticeable difference.
In my opinion, the most advantageous upgrade for this bike would be equipping it with adjustable suspensions both at the front and rear. These suspensions should have adjustable damping force, allowing to customize the ride's softness or stiffness through a dial knob with 10 to 16 levels of adjustment just an example. For those looking to enhance drifting action, a soft front and stiff rear suspension setup would be ideal for dirt and loose surface, while a softer rear and stiffer front would be more suitable for performing nose wheelies. I also believe that the weakest component of the bike is the front plastic bracket supporting the suspension. Fortunately, third-party aluminum upgrades are already available, designed to provide better cooling for the motor. Moreover, I highly recommend using a wax dry lube for the chain, such as the Muc-Off brand. This chain dry lube is specifically formulated to protect against dry and dusty conditions, and it even has a pleasant fragrance. Thank you for sharing your video!
I think these will go the same route as the ones they tried in the early 2000s. #ded Maybe if they added a gyro-stabilizer or something they could make it around a unspecialized track? At least the marshals are getting their steps in.
people dont like bikes becaause they are not plug n play. takes practice. Anyone can go drop 1k on a xmaxx or big truck drop a battery in it and drive it like youve been doing it your whole life, thats why surface hobbies get boring. I bought one and its cool to change the pace but surface will never compare to helis and planes.
