Fun fact: I should tell this dude did a depth research in advance. 1:54 (Indonesian flag) was actually “Majapahit Kingdoms” flag ( an Empire before dutch-east Indies). There are a rumor said that EIC (East-India Company) which was Brits trade company was inspired by this flag to applied for the company’s flag. Which was make sense since Majapahit was a blue water navy empire back then. And eventually, the EIC flag also give influence to US flag. The Majapahit’s flag still being used by Indonesian navy until now as its coat of arms.

I like how the American monarchist flag is similar to the flag of Washington DC, which is based on the standard of the Washington family (two red stripes and three stars on a white banner)

2:31 The flag of the patria vieja (Old homeland) was created for the provincial government that ruled Chile when Joseph I Bonaparte was in command of Spain, they planned to rule until the legitimate king was back in the lead and they swore allegiance to the latter, so their origins do have a lot to do with monarchy

I like the us one, it has two red strips and three red stars like dc’s flag which is based on the coat of arms of the Washington family which makes sense because if the us would have been a monarchy George would have been the person selected to be king. Also the eagle looks nice and you could maybe relate it to how the eagle is shown as a sign of power even since the Roman era, or you could say it’s their because it’s based on the us coat of arms and quite a bit of monarchist countries use their coat of arms on their flag. Overall a great flag and I am once again impressed.
