Turn off the water valve, ofcourse. Seems... rather obvious. At least, that's something we can do here. If we have a leaky pipe somewhere and it's being fixed, turning off the water by locking it with a valve is the first thing they do.

DON'T tease your dogs with laser pointers. You can cause them to develop anxiety and mental issues. Seriously, they're not mentally set to never be able to catch the red dot, they don't like it and it can cause them mental issues. Cats don't seem to care so they don't mind not catching the red dot. I learned this a few years ago from a vet; don't do it to your dog, it can harm them mentally!
