Is there a way to perform Counter Fire for REDFOR other than just using visual? Since BLUFOR gets a dedicated counter fire radar. Also, do search radars and Counterfire radar require Line of Sight to actually detect a target? As in do trees block their view? If so, is it beneficial to set them up on higher altitude?
For REDFOR, there is not, no. For CB radar on BLUEFOR, yes it requires boosting arty shells to be visible in your team vision. That doesn't mean CB radar has to be sited on a hill -- the vision can be provided by other elements of your team (infantry, scout helicopter, etc)
