Thank you so much , this was such a beautiful event thanks to great people of Krygykzstan and other nomadic community . Much respect and love from East Africa , Kenya
The World Nomad games almost looks like I've stepped into a film or something with archery on horseback and birds of prey. What an incredible experience. Ahh I remember the dead goat polo from one of your other videos. It's fascinating learning about other cultures and their native sports, so different to ours. I'd actually like to try the archery on horseback but man it looks hard! I've tried archery on the ground before and it's so challenging, haha.
Hahaha yeah archery on the ground is already challenging enough on its own 😂 I can't really imagine how it would be on a horse galloping at full speed like that 😮
It is amazing to see people from so many countries come together to hold this incredible event! We're still bummed we didn't make it this year! Maybe we can enjoy the next one together in Turkey! Thanks for sharing this very special event!
It was a pleasure 🙂 It was so much fun for us to be in Kyrgyzstan and to be able to participate in such a fun event! We can't wait to be back next summer!
Finally got around to watching this. That girl who jumped and shot the arrow, was straight out of a movie. I loved the little press jackets !! Maybe i'll join you in Turkey in 2020 ;)
Wow that is truly amazing and there was an Aussie there. The archers on horseback and the riding skills one can see how the horsemen from the East conquered the world back in the day. A fantastic video
Oh yes these guys are truly skilled with their horses, I can totally see how they conquered countries one after the other. You would have loved it here Mick.Maybe we'll see you at the next World Nomad Games?
Wow! The opening ceremony is just like the World Summer Olympics. Its amazing seeing the games, it's almost as if you traveled back in time. Great video and thanks for sharing this great experience.
So cool! I'd never heard of this before somehow. The valley where its held looks so beautiful. All of those different cultures in one place, amazing. The archery in traditional clothing looks like something from a movie! Great video.
It was great to see so many nomadic cultures get together in one place and the highlight of the event for us was definitely the archery.we'll definitely be going to the next World Nomad Games in Turkey.
It was awesome to see this event! This is something that really opens Kyrgyzstan to the rest of the world. We hope more and more people discover your gorgeous country!
You won't regret going there! It's an amazing country! We love it so much.Full of traditions, gorgeous landscapes, welcoming people and delicious food.
I would love to visit these games the culture just looks amazing. That ceremony looked unreal. Pretty cool that you guys got a press pass. Those tents were cool and that valley was such a great spot to have the games.
The valley where the games were held was gorgeous, really the ideal place for an event like this, I'm quite curious to see how it's going to look like when the event will be held in Turkey.
What an awesome experience in such an amazing backdrop. Really cool that there is so much food and varied culture there too. The archery is amazing! I really love how this video ended up being a love letter to this country - Really nice work!
We had so much fun in Kyrgyzstan and this event was the perfect summary of everything that we have done and experienced there. We really can't wait to go back. The Kyrgyz people received us in their country with so much love and friendship. We'll be back next summer for sure!
That. Was. Fascinating...!!! Oh my goodness. What a RICH culture over there. It seems so far away to us... A culture we've never experienced before. You really are making us want more and more to travel in Central Asia very soon! Those traditional clothes really caught our eye... So stunning. Haha laughed so much at Cynthia early in the morning being like "Nope"
Thanks Pizzy, yeah recently I decided to go full on and commit myself to making more and more videos. I also take my camera everywhere now and film absolutely everything!
@@professionaltaxevader4638 That's not a tradition! And also not legal! But that is big ,very big problem, part of people in villages kidnapped girls. But in capital city, Bishkek, girls and boys are very modern and also high educated, so they never do that bad things. Only marginal people do that..
It was so cool to finally be there after hearing so much about it! We had such a great time there! We're really wondering what the next world nomad games are going to look like considering they will be held by Turkey.
I've seen a few videos about the World Nomad Games now, and it always looks like an amazing event. Definitely something I'd like to see for myself some day
I've seen the dead goat polo before....was it from one of your videos? Cool you got a media pass! Dang, the event looks pretty cool!! Didn't know Australia also participates in it! I like all the traditional clothing! I'd try the food too. the archery looks cool. Woah, eagle hunting! Great episode!!!
Yeah we showcased dead goat polo before in a previous video 😀 We felt so happy when we finally got that media pass, it gave us access to all kind of things happening behind the scenes and we had food and accommodation during the whole event so that was pretty sweet!
It was great to see so many athletes competing in their traditional sports! We'll definitely make sure not to miss the next World Nomad Games in Turkey. It was a thrilling experience!!
Very interesting! We believe it must have been hard to capture all the disciplines... but you greatly captured the feeling and spirit of the games which is far more interesting. Safe onward travels to both of you!
That is so interesting! I've never heard of these games before and it looks like such a cultural experience! So cool! Definitely adding this onto my list of things I want to experience!
Hi you two ! It's Morgan, one of the journalists from France with whom you spent the week :) I didn't saw your video until now, and I'm glad I did because it's very cool ! I'm only starting to prepare mine, as I'm very late on all my trips. I hope you have good time, anywhere you are :D
I've never heard of these games ! Super interesting !! These archers are pretty badass - he jumped and shot the arrow? How cool is that? Eagle Hunting is incredible too! Is it every year in Kygyzstan?
Unfortunately, the World Nomad Games is an event that happens every second year and the next edition will be hosted by Turkey. We might go to Turkey to cover the next edition of the event!
The games were initiated by Kyrgyzstan. The country hosted the games in 2014, 2016, 2018. It is interesting to see what the original idea of the games will turn into the next time in Turkey
wow I've never heard of this!! We love sports in our family and always follow the Olympics. Going to a local sport (like we will with Gaelic Football in Ireland) gives you an awesome glimpse into their culture, personalities! I don't blame you for making a trip just to see this, it'd be totally worth it to us too!
Yeah local traditional sports always give a great insight into a culture. It's really fun because so many people are gathered in one place to see the event.
C'est très coloré, j'adore! Donc vous êtes maintenant presse internationale? Ahah! Vous avez fait des contacts? Le spectacle d'ouverture avait l'air d'un beau spectacle.
Thanks Dave 😀 We're sure you would love the World Nomad Games, it's a fun event. Extra footage and music was provided by the organizers of the world nomad games and they allowed us to use it in our video.
What an amazing event. So neat you got press access. I love those vests you got - do you get to keep them? How often do they hold the world nomad games and is it always in the same place? I would love to go at some point.
Shit, I didn't know that it's moving to Turkey.... I missed my chance... Was never the less in Kyrgyzstan a year ago but I really wanted to see the Nomad games there. Sad :(
It will be in Turkey, then Azerbaijan I believe and after that, it should be in Kyrgyzstan again. What do you think of Kyrgyzstan? Which part of the country did you visit?
"Ey Türk! Üstte mavi gök çökmedikçe, altta yağız yer delinmedikçe, senin ilini ve töreni kim bozabilir" Bilge KAĞAN , by the way it's not a central asian culture most of TURKIC AND THEIR INFLUENCE CULTURE...
