I love his art work! When I was a little girl, I saw a book of his with illustrations for faeries and it always filled my head with imaginations of them. Sadly, I didn't have the book anymore so I looked online at google images and finally found his faeries. I'm surprised no one has truly made a movie with his faeries or at least to my knowledge.
This video is Wonderful, as are the Frouds and their magical and inspirational works! Long live the Froud Faerie Magic! Thank you Animazing for hosting this fantastic experience and bring magic to Manhattan for the Holidays!
@TheLizardmonkey You said "Wendy Froud was as much the author of Yoda as Stuart Freeborn while nearly every frame of 'The Dark Crystal' and 'Labyrinth' has Brian Froud's stamp upon it." Well, Labyrinth also has some of Toby Froud's stomp on it. Inasmuch as he walked in the scenes ;) And let's not forget he supposedly peed on David Bowie's arms when he picked him up for the first time ;)
The Frouds designed a great deal of iconic film creatures for Lucas, Henson and many more. Wendy Froud was as much the author of Yoda as Stuart Freeborn while nearly every frame of 'The Dark Crystal' and 'Labyrinth' has Brian Froud's stamp upon it. I dearly hope they have enjoyed as many riches and respect as Henson and Lucas who rode to success on the back of their work!
