The AUS I feel is the most sympathetic. For all of their faults, they realize that the other Americans aren't bad people, or even people with bad views, they're just different in how they fix the system. I hope there is gonna be a part 4 with the Pacific States. I personally imagine something like this: "I never was a man of big ambitions. A good meal, a warm bed, maybe a nice book were enough for me to have a happy life. I'm from a realtively wealthy family, but I decided that I needed to make a contribution to society some how so I became a journalist to inform people of what the things that were hidden from them. What I saw was not nice because those weren't nice times either. The economic crisis that weakened our country allowed the formation of all kinds of radical and authoritarian groups. One time I reported about a bombing where 13 people died in the explotion of a bank. People with families that cried over the lost of their love ones and got their livehoods destroyed. The responsibles? A terrorist group tied to the Syndicialists, that in the name of equality, want to subdue the liberty of the country to impose an autoritharian dictatorship like the ones in Britain and France. Then, there was the lynching of a young black man accused of having ties to the Combined Syndicates. It was beaten to death and hanged from a tree like a criminal. Who were these time? Members of the Minute Men of Huey Long that with the excuse of defending the nation from Wall Street and Syndicalism they terrorize people based on their race, religion or political beliefs. Then the day where all exploded happened. I was reporting for a California's newspaper in DC when I heard the announcement of McCarthur. In the name of democracy, he disolved the Congress and gave himself extraordinary powers to rule the Nation. The members of the Congress that couldn't stand with McCarthur's violation of our democracy, flee to the California and formed a new goverment to protect the Constitution. And then, the spark detonates and the radical factions started to take the opportunity to seize power. McCarthur, Reed, Long. There all one and the same. All take away the freedom of the people with the excuse of a greater good. All of them are supported by foreign nations that want to see America in ruins to reshape it to their own image. Olson, might not be a Messiah or have the ability to save America from tearing itself apart, but he is an honest man that wants to defend democracy from the thugs that wan't to destroy it We don't have a ambitous goal like liberating the world or make America great again. Hell, we don't know if we can save America in his broken state. But we'll defend ourselves of anyone that wants to take away our freedom, the principles in which this country was founded. I'm not an ambitious or violent man but I cannot stand seeing these vultures taking advantage of the suffering of the American to acommplish their own desires. The Syndicalists, the Federalists, the American Union State. They think that they can crush the will of the people for their megalomaniac aims. But the people of the Pacific won't fold to the demands of totalitarism. They can call us "reactionaries", "traitors", "useful idiots", but we'll defend the legacy of the Founding Fathers to the very end. I'm not very good at handling at weapons but I will fight against totalitarism untill my last breath if it's necesary. And if we have to separate from the other States forever, then it shall be: nations are temporary, but ideals live forever. Long live to the Pacific States of America"

Rise up as traitors, fight to become a king!

The whole Kaiserreich story line needs to be made into a series. Like, the first season is about the divided states and is a political thriller/warstory, which portrays the civil war from a loyalist, an unionist, a syndicalist and a pacific perspective. Maybe also the perspective of a New Englander and someone from abroad ; an observer or a volunteer. Then, a second season about the whole situation in the Austria, or Russia, as a full on political thriller. Then, a third about the royals in canada and the syndicists in britain; so you could have a monarch, who is unsure about reclaiming his homeland ,and the homeland of the empire by extension, because the ensuing war would be waged against his own people and could strain the relationship with the colonies to the point of a total breakdown of the empire ,on the one hand and I dunno an intellectual or worker, who is fully committed to the goal of the liberation of the workers, on the other hand. And maybe a season about Poland, Ukraine and so on. And one about the Kaiser himself would be pretty interesting, since I've read that Wilhelm II. had an inferiority complex and I'm pretty sure it was rooted to deeply to go away, even after becoming the most powerful man alive.

Man I can't wait to see this new video and I cannot wait to see the PSA episode of Kaiserreich

The whole civil war seems kinda tragic, especially when you play the USA video next to this one. People are fighting for their ideals and basically everyone wants the same thing: to do what's best for their country and it's people

This is actually really well done. For a video support of a fan mod, bravo, in just over 5 minutes you told a more compelling story than most hollywood movies.

The Union state can make peace with the federalists can it do the same with the syndicalists? In my opinion Syndicalism suits the north because its more urban industrial nature while Long is better for the more rural south seeing them cooperate with each other could be fun in a cold war style kind of way maybe they could even form a faction togther called the "Washington Pact"

Is this alternate history or a future documentary? The way the United States is going it is hard to tell!

Reminds me of my first kaiser reich game. I as the Netherlands trying to uphold democracy in my country while the US was cornered. By shear determination (and a little bit of lands lease on my part) they fought back the syndicalists and the unionists.
