great collection. you know if you just want to play games and not really collect that much anymore, a good way is just to emulate. that is if you know how to do that. or you can always buy a flash cart and put games on a sd card and play on the original systems. I'm a collector myself but find it very useful in doing things this way as a way of playing games that I will never be able to afford. great video by the way.
It's nice to see someone that respects all of the game systems. Well done. My 3 all time favorites in your collection would be the 16-bit systems, the SNES, the Genesis and the TG-16. However, in terms of game music, I like the TG-16's music better.
Im curious with this and other collectors... The games that you buy and that you have which are a bunch... Do you play them all? Like do you buy them because you like playing them or because you want to collect them exclusively? just out of curiosity if you could answer :P
World of Nintendo Hey I got a question for you, how long do you plan on storing your consoles with batteries in them? Don't the batteries go bad after a couple of years? I read that li-ion batteries die after about 3 years (after production, even if unused) What will you do in the future when you decide to open the consoles?
I can fully understand with Pokemon. There are so many avenues with it, the TV series/movies, the action figures, stuffed and the games. It does get pricey. As far as themes go, I believe that since the Game Boy Color there has been at least one Pokemon-themed handheld per generation. Basically, what I chose to do is focus on the main RPG games and the anime early on. The games are fun and a great way to introduce a new player to the RPG genre.
I really like the bright color of the shelf you display all your games and stuff on. Insted of black. I will defently have to find some to lighting the room up a bit. Nice collection you have. First video I have seen from you, and not the last
Do you know anything about the Orange Wii Ultra sensor bar? I found one at a thrift store and I can't find any info about the Orange (almost pumpkin spice looking) version of the bar.
So yknow how theres that wii controller adapter to play virtual console games with their original controllers, right? Well does the rumble pak or controller pak or all those things work on the n64 controller when played on there?
Your collection is exquisite and I love the way you have focused it . I need to refine mine even more Trouble is my arcades take up so much room Thanks for sharing
Matt Welch they're from IKEA. sadly, they don't make them anymore. i bought the last seven from the store near me and i'd love to have just one more so i don't have to use those two small units on my import wall.
UGH! I know Sega and Nintendo buried the hatchet, but I'll NEVER forget the battle between them! Sure, Nintendo came out on top in the long run (sorry, Sega fanboys, 49.1 million tops even the 40 million claim some are making- which can't even be verified), but I'll NEVER forgive Sega! Then, when Mario and Sonic paired up for the "Olympics"? SACRILEGE!! I feel like you're a Nintendo traitor, not a Nintendo collector. Sorry, but I don't feel like you're a true Nintendo collector anymore after the Sega wall...
Very nice collection and very nice presentation! Do you remember where you got those black bins that you keep your Game Boy games in? They are a perfect fit!
You should do a video on the Satellaview and the N64DD. Not even a Nintendo Unboxed one, just a video like you did at the way beginning, just taking a look at how it works.
those topics are certainly on my list. for the N64DD, i'm waiting to acquire one more game before i make the video. i'll probably do the satellaview one this summer. thanks for the comment!
***** first of all, I'm well aware of the history of the game. Secondly, the game is now considered a cult classic, even James Rolfe thinks it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be; the game was rushed. Finally, no need to call me a dumbass for having an opinion.
***** Watchmojo are just opinions, like you and I. Just like how I consider Demon's Souls, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Vagrant Story some of the best games ever made. You might think they're garbage, but those are opinions. Also, the video game crash only existed for our market; it didn't effect Japan.
