@@itakeshowers3030 they used to have about 8-9 teams tour with them. Now they have 15-16. Most tracks they go to sell completely out for their show. I don’t know what series you watch but it isn’t this one. ASCS has the problems you are referring to.
As others have noted, the driver interviews are a fantastic addition here. Getting to know the drivers, the teams and their stories a bit more will only increase audience buy-in. Incredible series and racing.
Thank you for including Carson's post race interview it was really great. He's definitely doing great at keeping the Jason Johnson legacy alive and it's awesome to hear his gratitude and respect for Bobbie and Jax as well as his family and all who help. It's hard to not root for him. Also all California posse on the podium!
Good to see Merced still active...and with banking! Back in the '80's it was quite the flat track compared to the others in central CA. Really enjoyed having WoO at both Watsonville and San Jose Speedways in late '80's / early '90's.
Most talk about incident in sprint car racing happened at a PA Posse show at Port Royal Speedway between Logan Wagner and Anthony Macri. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EGdmrvrS6So.html
Awesome to see that less than half a day after this video was posted there's already 17,000 views, means this series and the sport is growing cuz I remember when there wouldn't even be 10,000 views after months and that was not even that long ago
Weird coincidence I wore my favorite JJR hood last night and I guess it was good luck love seeing them win bobby and the whole gang are so nice and great people congrats
@@itakeshowers3030 it's the sad truth across all racing series. Plenty of talented drivers out there, who race for teams that don't have the budget to build a solid car, so they never get to experience their full potential. Very unfortunate.
For a race fan who hasn’t been to a WoO race since I was a kid, would you guys recommend seeing them at Stockton or Merced? Those are the two closest tracks to me and they’ll be here in a week.
i thought sunshine was 7bc for his number? a close race as always though and why I love the dirt track sprints its often down to the wire on who hooks up off the turn first who wins it.
@@itakeshowers3030 That's a part of every racing series get a life. Every single one from go kart, motocross. nhra, nascar, formula 1, indy, dirt, etc.
About a 2 hour drive from the San Francisco East Bay to Merced. Too far for me. 40 years ago when Fremont was open, we'd go there, only 45 minute drive.
I can agree with you if you were talking about going there weekly but to go see the world of outlaws but once a year if your closest track, I would drive 4 hours
@@diychad7268 They are also coming to Hanford, Placerville and Chico CA. Those are 3 hours away. Tulare 4 hours, Bakersfield 5 hours, Perris 7 hours in CA also.
It isn't just in California but these California drivers are doing great elsewhere as well. Buddy Kofoid almost beat the PA Posse in their own backyard at Lincoln Speedway last night. I think that if the 30 Lap feature had another lap that Buddy Kofoid probably would have passed Brent Marks for the win. But as a PA Posse fan I am glad for Brent Marks win. The past night at Williams Grove Speedway ASCOC Indiana driver, Justin Peck beat the PA Posse so for the PA Posse to loss back to back races on our own turf would suck. Both California and Indiana currently have alot of quality drivers either locally in their own respective states or in a traveling series like WOO, ASCOC or USAC.
Always love to see the #41 JJR team win. Very exciting race. Congrats to all. Lets be clear about my next statement, I am not a big fan of #15 Schatz. I admire his skill and appreciate all that he has done but to see him week after week barely making top 5 and sometimes not even in the top 10 after all he has accomplished in years past is very disheartening. Getting lapped to me indicates some serious problems. I know he is using a different motor and all that, but just wondering how long he personally can eat everyone else's dirt before he says, "enough is enough, this ain't working". Comments please.
Dirttrakr or however it's spelled.... RU-vid channel..... Mentioned one day last week that that crash wherever it was here recently was a tough one and he is just setting out for the moment
