@@saragrant9749 he does have help with Allen Murray since late last year as a co owner of the team. Maybe another major sponsor they can run full time next year if that is what they really want to do in the future. A good central PA sponsor for Brent Marks or any PA driver thar wants to race in these tours like WOO or ASCOC would be Troegs Brewery from Hershey, PA. That Brewery has grown rapidly in 2 decades, especially recently and is expanding their canning line and has an estimated 50 million in revenue and is distributed in 10 states and DC. A central PA team like Marks/Murray getting a big sponsor like Troegs would help out alot especially since Troegs can get their name out more with someone traveling around the country.
Nice $20000 to win payout for the invading PA Posse Brent Marks. Much different earning $20000 in this Outlaws race then the $5000 to win races today at Lincoln Speedway won by Danny Dietrich or Port Royal Speedway race won by Logan Wagner. The trip was worth it even if luck was involved with drawing a 2 for the dash. Drawing a 2 helps especially since it was a follow the leader little to no passing race. But take them when you can get them Brent Marks and congratulations for beating the Outlaws on the road making you more of an Outlaw then the Outlaws tonight in Texas.
From this area and go to devils bowl every year and although I love it and was raised at this track I hate how spread out it gets. Awesome to watch a big track and them use all the motor that they got but at the same time, it makes for a fast and almost boring race if you were raised around it. If you start up front you’re liable to lead every lap. Just like Ayrton Gennetten last year. Lead 22 of 30 laps because he started up front. Not taking nothing away from him at all, but this track is set up that way. Hoping they make up Lawton at the end of the year and I’ll make the trip up there and watch it. Either way happy to see Brent win it.
Super highlights of the race, but more importantly the interview with the winning driver after the race,it is such a bonus to get to hear what they had to do to win the race, please keep doing the winning driver interview in the videos, look forward to next one
That track was fast. Love seeing sprint cars get through the corners like Brent was early on. Throws it in without any hopping up and down yelling at it to bite lol
Cool to see Brent win it. Go to devils bowl every year and I love how fast and wide open they can get but hoping they make Lawton up at the end of the year and I can see them at another track in person.
Nice job Brent! Track was too wet and heavy (narrow) to provide great racing. The big tracks especially need to slick off and get wide to see passing and side by side racing.
@@raysmyser725 why is that? Drydene dumped Jacob because of poor results last year. Now he’s beating up on big name guys with no big sponsor. I like it
He got dumped like any other driver would on a team. Tore up equipment and had no good results to show for or make up for that. He cost money and didn't make the team money. That would literally happen with any team in any profession.
You’ll get a few duds in a 90 race season and this was the first one for the year. It is what is….move on to the next one where they hopefully get a surface to race on!
I was there and the track was in excellent condition. But I don’t understand how he got the pole. Macedo set the track record in hot laps with a 13.097 (might not be exactly correct) and Sweet was second fastest. I’m not sure what the 19 ran. But in any case he dominated the main. Shotz was second with 5 lap cars between them !
It's called the redraw? You finish up front in your heat race, and your in the redraw. Time trails have nothing to do with where you start in the feature.
Was regular Devil's Bowl fan for 20+ years, but its been this way for a long while now. The track is almost too fast. And without an outside wall it never develops a cushion to lean on. There's rarely any good passing on the weekly 305 races. They don't have a enough power to run each other down once they string out. It's why I quit going a few years ago.
@@tmaximus2327... Yeah, I just can't get excited about the place... Lernerville (for example) doesn't have an outside fence yet almost always develops a cushion... Maybe it's time to replace the surface and reconfigure the track... Shorten it up by a 100m and turn it into a 1/3 mile... ;)
@@patriotxp4732 that's hardly an excuse. Tracks get an inch of rain hours before races and still prep it to get a race in that night and have better racing then this
@@rodlamport1702 Another factor is the track layout. With it being more D shaped than pure oval and the back straight being higher than the front straight, makes setting up the cars more tricky. You don't see the drivers diamonding the corners like other tracks.
I was there and they didn’t water it the entire night. There was a factory stock and limited mod feature on it before this too. It’s been cool out here in Texas and we’ve had some rain recently, I think there was just a ton of moisture in the racetrack
I don’t really much care who wins as long as it isn’t Brad Tweet or David Pebble. Can’t stand either one of them. As far as Marks winning, congratulations but that doesn’t automatically make him the almighty one, probably won’t place in the top 5 the rest of the year. He had a good car for one night and you don’t what’s going to happen from here on out. To all of you PAPosse people, he won ONE race, Whoopi, let’s get hammered tonight!! Give me a break already..
Brent is going to win more then one this year, even in the limited amount he is going to run with the OUTLAWS. The other year when he ran all the outlaw shows, he passed more cars then anybody did for the year. Just a stat.
So we can't support one of our local drivers beating the outlaws. WTF beating the best is a big deal, it's not like he beat them at the Grove or Port, he got off the porch and was successful.
