Actually, that's right. I myself am over 13k battles, and have 3 tier IXs already, but hardly play them, not to mention grinding for tier X. I just feel much more comfortable in tier VIII, because in tier IX you are mostly an overdog (at least more often than in lower tiers) and I just don't feel experienced enough to fill that role just yet.

Robinie killer that just means the tech tree is layered badly. The whole point of it is to train the player into higher levels of games slowly. What's the point of playing for ages to hit the top then go... wait no I'm not ready. If you just don't want to play top tiers that's fine cos it's a different kinda game much more serious but you should feel completely confident

I'd not recommend the T54 as your first tier 9. It takes quite a bit of game-knowledge to perform good in it... Unless you wanna shoot 100% HEAT-rounds and loose all your credits, then pretty much anyone can drive it.

Exactly. I always was dumbfounded how WG decided to render the AMX 30B by just taking the stats of the leo 1 and make all of them worse.... even so the AMX had a better turret, better precision, better penetration for the same rate of fire.

So QB says it should be the first medium you should play at the tier, yet he says its expensive to play? Does not sound like a good idea for someone entering the tier.

shalol yeah, well the other meds line dont have all rounder strengh like T54 have, so itll be easier to learn from that line, and yes its expensive,

Yes it's more forgiving as you're likely to get the odd bounce or two from high caliber guns, but I would argue that the cost of running it offsets it's strengths, I personally preferred playing the E 50 over the T-54, it has a great gun, some what forgiving armor, good speed and if push comes to shove then you can RAM, it also has far better gun depression than the T-54.

+Alpho Omega In my 500 battles with the T-54 I think I've fired less than 50 HEAT shells. And I've had 5k+ dmg battles in it.

Also the stock grind is totally ass hurting. Turret + gun took a lot to get it, specially without reserves (it didn't exist yet), the 175mm pen. T-44 gun was underpowered even at fighting same tier opponents. But I think it's a very fun tank and is one of my favorites ever.

It makes me so angry when i see people just load the skill when they run into heavy tanks. Yes, qb is a great player and even with heat the average player would not have done as well. But it makes shit so difficult for high tier heavy tanks that everyone loads skill rounds whenever they see you.

Yeah man, "the purpose of artillery is to discourage camping". Artillery has no place in this game. It's world of tanks, not world of tanks and self propelled guns.

The point isn't the name, it's the fact that tank destroyers are direct fire. The nature of artillery encourages camping because everyone is terrified of being one shotted out of the blue. It ensures people stay dug in behind buildings and cliffs and such causing matches to stagnate.

eac sixty the chances of being targeted are one in 15, and any skilled player can't avoid artillery. you need to learn to use cover.

Again, you miss my point. Look at quicky baby. He was in the middle of pushing and having a good game, obviously not camping. The entire excuse from wargaming for why artillery is in the game is a joke. And don't you try to tell me getting one shotted by an enemy you have no defense against is fun. And before you say it, yes, you can use cover and try to stay mobile but as soon as you pop out to shoot or stop to aim you are near impossible to miss

Hi QB and guys round, what do you think about Leopard PT A? I feel like that vehicle has absolutely terrible combination of aim time and DPM. Its accuracy also ins't the best, and gun dispersion (especially when turning the turret) is quite bad as well. Yes, it has great mobility, it is very agile, yes, it has very nicely shaped turret and huge camo value but damn, I can't hit a thing with it and when I do, my DPM is too low to really make a big impact. I feel like AMX 30 B is so much stronger. Doesn't Leopard PT A need a buff? What do you think?

I can't say much about the AMX 30 but I do love my T-54. I only have one mark on it though.. I just need 30k ish xp to unlock the Obj 140. The T-62A is also pretty nice with a fast rof and a good turret armor. Also I'm about to unlock the 13 90. should I go for the autoloading bat-chat AP or the AMX 30 first?

Yeah same haha! I am fond of her but it's not because she's really competitive. The slow speed, the now sub-par armour, plus the low dpm means it's difficult to have really big games. I'm fine with the low speed, but I feel a small dpm buff and the old, more reliable mantlet would bring her into being competitive.

Ikr? buffing the ROF up to at least 5.7-5.8 would make enough of a difference to offset the cheese turret and lowish speed.

Tom Meakin exactly...though you can have some pretty good games if you can make use of the accuracy and pen, it has the best pen of any t9 med, and with .3 accuracy with vents means you can do some serious sniping. not to mention fast shell velocity. however, i would really like a buff to the turret, because the top part is easily penned with its 50 mm of armor lol, even when using 10 degrees of gun depression. what server are you on? im on NA. if ur on NA, what's ur in game name?

Hey QB. I do have both and I guess I lean more towards the t54 as it can be a decent infighter and the amx folds up too easily. I do like both but definitely play the amx as med to long sniper. Happy Holidays.

I love the gun and mobility on my 30proto but love the dominance of the T-54 when it's top tier. Just recently 2 marked my 30p and love playing it. T-54 doesn't see as much play anymore but I do like taking it out every once in a while - might sell it too because I have the 55a.

Quickybaby i think some things you could do to add some more flavour to your channel is top 5 series. You could do wot top 5s. Some ideas are top tanks for each tier. The biggest changes when going up a tech tree like the tortoise to the fv215b 183 or amx 40 to elc bis. Just to get you started

I've got both these tanks, and while I have more fun platooning with others in the T-54, I VASTLY prefer the AMX 30 and watch the DMG pile up. That tank is SO bada$$.

Angle your armor, outplay multiple opponents at once and rampage through a flank - but no worries, there is always artillery that can just roll the die to even the odds.

AMX 30 was my first tier9 (yeah I know I'm a new player), what I liked was that it was a tank that was really used by the French army (not like the Bat Chat)
