I don't like the Type 4/5 Heavy. I don't think it is fair that they can deal damage to you without any problem while you have to struggle to damage them. It's a bit like the insane camo rating of the strv line up. But KV-2 replay, was recently victim of one in my comet, what a shame, but i guess we all have to be sacrificed once in a while to Stalin.

Go-to tank: Panzer V/IV. OP armor+ weight+ speed combo at tier V, so it's essentially a tier V E-50M for ramming

The problem with the type 4/5 heavy is not just the gun itself but they have so much armor in the front (mostly the type 5). Imagine being in a tiger 2 and facing off a type 5, tiger 2 will almost lose every single time. Lets also not forget those dirty premium HE shells that they carry. Almost every type 4/5 player has a full load out with nothing but prem HE. Now before someone comes and says "learn to git gud", i for one dont have any problem facing them since i usually just ignore the flank they are in and pick off their allies one by one leaving them for last, or just flank it. What Im trying to say is that the newer players that are grinding their way up a line, The majority of them wont know what to do when they see one, they think they are easy to pen and just sit in front of them and next thing you know boom, there goes the majority of their hp without even making a dent to the type 4/5. As for the kv2 itself, just because it can one shot tanks doesn't mean its OP, compared to the type 5 the kv2 is balanced (sort of). It has no armor and a long reload, all you have to do is wait for it to shoot and you are in. Also its blind as a bat, you can easily win against a kv2 in a long range fight. This is just my 2 cents on this situation. Good luck and Have fun everyone!

Crazy Russian KV-2 "Ok guys, there goes nothing...BOOOOUM!"

Well, the type 5 heavy is one of the many cancers at tier 10, it's stupid, there's no smart way to play it, it's all just pointing your frontal armor at a choke point and shoot 500 damage shots at the general direction of enemy tanks, if people shoot premium at you, you shoot premium back, no wait... you always shoot premium because it hasn't got any disadvantage, if you face it with any of your heavy tanks, you better go fucking hide behind the artillery and spam gold at it. Ps.: Tier 10 battles are won by who fires the most gold *not really, but it helps*.

My go to tank WAS the Chaffee before patch 9.18, now it’s probably the T-34-3 because of its preferential matchmaking, awesome turretarmor and high alpha fun gun

QB I think you are understating the St. Emil. The St. Emil is an amazing tank. It features the the blistering speed of the Maus with the impenetrable armor of the PZ1C. Top it off with a gun with .38 accuracy and a 12 second reload and you have a tank whose main purpose appears to be to punish you for wanting a Borsig.

I hate the type 5/4 heavy. There shouldn't be tanks in the game that require no skill to bludgeon your way through the enemy team. Even the Yageroo, a super dangerous and arguably somewhat OP TD has a super obvious set of weak points and poor characteristics. There isn't anything that sucks about the Type 5/4 besides being slow, which doesn't really matter if you can defend yourself against every tank in the game fairly reliably.

I really like the t-34-85 with the u11 122mm derp. That thing is so much fun due to reasonable armor, mobility and a lovely 2.8k dpm with he (bia, vents, rammer)

When all is going wrong, I love to get in my PZ 1 C and just run around the map! It's even more fun to platoon up and do strafe runs with friends.

The KV 2 is really a fun tank to play. We had a night where we teamed up in 3 KV 2 in a platoon and won 10 games in a row with a number of oneshots, poor lights that we met ... and sniped the enemy .... 4 - 500 meters avay.... its somewhat like the BL10 gun was in its glorius days ...love it!!!!

"What would a KV-2 be in a DnD scenario" a lumbering juggernaut of a warrior with really high str and con. No armor, bare chested with leather straps/pads, pauldrons made of stalinium. Brandishing an ironwood tree trunk as its club. Uses halflings as projectile weapons.

I am so used to seeing KV-2 with the 152mm, that I am really surprised by the 107mm gun. I was in a tricky spot in my Caernarvon, and I thought I bounced a 152, but they reloaded and killed me with the 107 before I could finish him off.

For a "having some bad matches" tank to pop into, I've found the Primo Victoria to be a pretty easy tank to use. It's really really well rounded. Excellent turret armour, a decent overall gun, and fair mobility. While I don't often carry a match all by myself, I feel that the Primo Vic is definitely very forgiving to regular small mistakes.

My go to tank when things go wrong....T-54 mod 1 or Super Pershing. Happy new year QB and Peppy.

For me the issue with the Type tanks (4 and 5 at least) can be summed up with one example from my own experience: helping to hold a corner, we had a four vs four duel in town when the enemy type 5 showed up. Charged my corner and shot my upper glacis with HE and dealt more than my alpha on the E75 through my armor whereas he bounced my APCR (gold) off his side with a VERY slight angle (probably about 75-80 degrees)

My go to tank, is my VK 28.01. It's my favorite tank. Has my most plays and I've lost count how many times I've gotten an ace tanker in it I've almost 3rd marked it as well.

My go-to-tank actually happens to be the KV2, I have a wr of 52% and a WN8 of 1200 in it (which isn't very high but I threw a lot of games when I was a n00b, like 1900 battles ago)

11:00 or so.... The Black Prince was heading back to protect the base, like the KV-2 had asked him to. Be was there for support initially but his help was denied.

Looking the teamchat, first thing I thought was "Black Prince, go back to base, go straight back to base, don't kill any camping arty and don't ruin my pools medal". Almost went horribly wrong :D

my tank that i would play when things were just going absolutely wrong was the vk.28.01, that is until they removed its derp gun, after that I've been wallowing in anguish.

no props to the 2 team m8's who actually stayed arround with him and gave him the edge he needed to win the game - and the reason the last tank wasn't with the kv-2 agains the arty was because the kv-2 asked him to stay back in case the arty would try to go arround the back and for once to my amazment then he actually responded to it. Good job O-I and Blackprince you deserve a clap on your shoulders as well
