Jingles shows us videos like this and it makes me want to blow the dust off WoT and give it another shot. And then after a couple of battles, I realize that I must have temporarily lost my mind when I decided to re-download it. Love your content Jingles, always makes the morning a bit more enjoyable.

As a man with thousands of games in the T-50-2 this brings me joy. archie played this tank expertly, on a map I'm sure he's played hundreds of times, and as always with any light tank, there's a bit of luck involved. Great clutch

You're still my favorite WOT channel (don't tell Claus), even though you aren't you producing near as many videos on tanks. I really miss your tank reviews. Nobody reviewed a tank the way you did. They were always very informative, funny, and interesting. Oh well, some Jingles is much better than no Jingles.

He can't really do tank reviews anymore, not least because he no longer plays the game, the devs have changed it beyond all recognition since he stopped playing and there have been so MANY BS OP Russian PoS products of drug induced halucinations introduced into the game, that pretty much all he could say is "this tank never existed and you need to empty your wallet at it, because there are no weak spots"

Funny thing is, the enemy did good that match. They didn't spread out to hunt down Archie, instead they actually stayed close to each other. Not that it made much of a difference, but still...

Before I quit WoT (after 6+ years), the t-50-2 was my go-to tank for having fun. I've bounced more shells off the Back of that turret than I ever did off the front of anything else. It's like a disease carrying mosquito that just keeps on taking little bites from the enemy. Gradually making them weaker and weaker.

You were right about the low damage rolls. 3588 damage divided by 47 penetrating hits equals an average damage per hit of only 76.3!

The kill shots will almost always reduce the average though, like the KV-2 on 4hp.

10:25 "..doesn't even probably need a direct hit" Oh Jingles, it's been long time since you could do splash damage with HE. The HE nerf removed that feature, even if you land a shot 1cm away from a tank, it won't do any damage.

To answer your question jingles about that whole average damage thing, he in fact was doing LOWER than average damage by 9 points (according to calculations, 47 penatrating hits to equal 3588 damage is in fact 76.34 on average each hit.)

I don't recall enjoying a WoT review more than tonight's. Loved the fast pace of this light tank, and the constant fire. Very few seconds passed between any two shots and his accuracy was amazing. WELL DONE, ARCHIE.. and great selection and commentary, Jingles.

@@mudman619 in what's called "leet speech", numbers are substituted to letters. 1337, read as Leet, is the namesake for this slang and also (probably) the most widely used example. As Brendan said, pay attention to the nickname: Archie1337 = "Archi e LeeT" = Archie elite.

I think this is the only vid where i feel bad that the guy was taxed this much for using gold. The APCR struggled a lot to pen and he wasnt in a high tier TD that doesnt really need it.

His APCR struggled to pen due to lack of aiming. Rewatch and you'll see very little in the way of actual aimed shots. He quick aims, auto aims, and 3rd person view aims. A little more precision would have helped, but would have slowed his pace a bit.

On the note of the 57 mm gun, I absolutely love using it on the KV-1. The aim time and gun handling aren't as good, but the DPM is absurd, 2,300 at tier 5. When the momentum is on your side, you can shred everyone in your path just by marching forward and out-damaging them. Of course it has its weaknesses, you do need a good sense of when it's a good time to go for it, and it's definitely not a good gun when you're facing lots of higher tiers. Still, I think it's something more people should try. It's kind of like the gun on the E25, just on a heavy tank.

@@SirAdrian87 In this case spamming gold ammo with a 57 mm gun only makes the tank playable. It's not some ridiculous p2w ammo that can penetrate right through frontal armor like on some tanks. Gold ammo isn't a big problem in world of tanks, armor is. We need more weakspots so that gold ammo isn't necessary to deal damage to some tanks. When gold is the only way you can deal damage is a problem. It's fine if you hate gold ammo in cases where the gold ammo makes armor irrelevant and the penetration is so high you can pen a tank hitting them damn near anywhere from almost any angle, aiming not required. But that isn't always the case. And you also shouldn't think it makes the game easy mode, that's clearly not true either.

t-50-2 is utterly expansive to run for quite some times now, and even without gold ammo, running it, with premium, winning and doing a GOOD game can STILL cost you in the end

Just love how everyone just ignores the fact that Wargaming still has scout tanks stuck in with the light tanks. This is a scout tank. When it was in the tech tree it saw tier 10 games along with the Chaffee and Type 64. All of which are scout tanks. But no one will play them as scouts. Always camping like tank destroyers or trying to wolf pack like under armored mediums. And you wonder why there are some games over in 5 minutes when the eyes of your team won’t play their role!

KV-2 does need a direct hit, regular tanks don't deal splash damage with HE anymore. Now only arty does splash damage. That mechanic was changed in the HE rework.

One of my favorite WoT memories was playing in my KV or KV-2 (don't remember which it was at the time) and there was some little light tank (A-20, IIRC) that dared show his face near the beginning of the battle and I derped it. Someone on my team asked if I really just used my 30-40 second reload (maybe it was original KV, the reload was brutal) on a scout. It was a hilarious b*tch-slapping right at the beginning of the game.
