And the HEAT rounds on the Hetzer cost 4k a pop. My load out on this tank is 15 HE and 5 HEAT. I can reliably damage tier sixes with the HE on this tank.

wood1155 The AP is pretty worthless IMO, pretty much any thin skinned tank that you can pen with the AP reliably can just as easily be penned, or at the very least, super fucked up by the HE, and the HE can reliably damage even tier six heavies. Plus, getting constant critical hit notifications is hilarious.

The Hetzer still holds my personal best round, with 8 kills. Would have been higher, but the OTHER Hetzer on my team obliterated 7 at the same time - I just beat him to the last kill! Way back in the old days, when HE was, as you said, just so brutal.

AFAIK, it used to basically seek out the thinnest bit of armour anywhere within its blast radius, and apply the damage there. So despite hitting, say, the glacis plate... Your damage could actually sneak around the top and come down into the driver's hatch, or something. Essentially, HE was able to do a LOT more damage, MUCH more easily, and mostly without regard to the armour that you actually hit.

I'd say it would be TOG with friends (fun), but for money (and maybe fun) E 25 or SU-122-44, but I don't know what play style you like to play and enjoy, so I can't really suggest much.

under 25€, proably the SU-122-44. SU-100Y is way too innacurate and the gun isnt as amazing without gold, also it gets killed in seconds. And Dicker is really hard to play, its slow and you see FV304 at this tier. Type64 is amazing to make money if you dont fire any gold. Otherwise wait until the Cromwell B is on sale (I think its 24€) again.

I've seen a Hetzer at a WW2 reenactment in Massachusetts, and I thought It was going to be a lot smaller, but it could fit about 5 grown men inside, I also saw a M4 Sherman and a M3 Stuart, and I rather liked the Tiger there as well, it was in camouflage sort of like the Tiger 131 in WoT Console.

Hetzers are always fun. At high tiers, you become the ninja assassin, at low tiers you become the club swinging ogre. Silly little tank, but always fun to play.

I prefer the 75 mm but i can understand why you like the 105 more. I am a guy who prefers high rate of fire (like QB) and the AP rounds of the 75 mm are brutal (150 mm pen)

DiamondEnderCraft 226 true but I'll kill a stug in one hit. They need 3 or 2 high rolls. I love the mobility on the stug. I don't like to camp much which makes me a better e25 scout than a td. On the stug iii you have great mobility but you're rather blind. I just seem to do well. Might need more ap I forgot about overmatch potential

WN8OverR9000 you still need to be better than 65% of players in that tank in the last 100 battles. To get that in a derp stug when the needle gun supposedly better is not easy. Especially for someone that doesn't like to Kemp bush most of the time

The only cure for the Hetzer in CoH are either a well coordinated 17 Pounder gun line, Ranger Spam or a fuckton of PIAT Commandos in trenches. The latter is the most satisfying.

the strv 40 l or sg like that (tier 3 swedish light) has 78 mm of ap pen and its an awesome tank. Less than 2 secs reload and 40 av. dmg. I did a lot of times 600+DMG IN TIER 5 WITH THAT:)

This video reminds me of this one time when me and my friend were playing world of tanks blitz. He was in a hetzer, I was in a t28. He had shot an m5 stuart with the 105mm gun and rammed him up a wall so the guy couldn't move. He was 0.4 seconds from reloading when I looked over and killed the m5, it was even better because my friend couldn't see me when I took the shot.
