- when your double-shot had one of them go into the rock, you could see that half of your reticle was not a full line meaning one of your gun did not have a line of sight. This is not mentionned by WG but clearly there is a mechanic to warn you when your double-shot is about to be wasted. Would be nice to mention it in your next video to warn new double-barrel players - I really hope the MTLS will be reworked to use the new mechanic of double barrels

I love these things on my AMX M4 mle 49. That double Ding you hear when they fire both barrels loaded with gold rounds and still fail to penetrate is comedy gold.

"The Instrument of Doom" - Apocalypse Tank 1964

Tier 8 Heavy Russian Premium tank with a dmg potential of tier 10 TD... seams not broken at all... This thing has 270 pen on gold, and if that is not enough, it has 530 x2 dmg on heat shells with 63 pen, meaning that even if somehow you won't pen - you still have 300 - 500 guaranteed dmg, no matter the armour thickness of a tank you are shooting at. And of course, it has "Russian" armour, meaning that frontally this thing will bounce pretty much everything, aside maybe from tier X TDs on gold, but even that is RNG. The only weak-spot is a tiny lower plate, that is pretty easy to hide. The only tank I think it can be compared to is FV215b (183), reduced to tier 8. It has the same features: Huge Alpha dmg, capable of one-shots and armour that can bounce way too many shells. But unlike FV215b (183), this tank has "0" weak-spots on upper plate & turret. The thing that hurts the most is that this tank in the most filthy P2W stuff has ever-pulled. Broken, horribly overpowered tank locked behind RNG-Pay-Wall. (loot-box).

As a lucky Obj 703 player, how I play it : - Playing it single shot when Im brawling for its DPM - If I want to destroy more than 1 low health tanks I use the autoreloader mechanic - If im sure that the shot will land and pen, and I will not be shooting something else soon after this, I use the double shot

First, let me commend QB for his dedication to get the Object 703 II to review for us. I was almost as nervous as he seemed to be watching the loot box opening video. I have to say the double barreled heavy tank idea really disturbs me. I think this type of tank belongs in a Sci-Fi game. The 703 is the most unrealistic concept introduced into WoT since the ridiculous Japanese heavies (O-I, O-Ho and O-Ni) were added. My problems with the 703 II all revolve around physics and dimensions. If you have every been inside the turret of a real tank, you will realize that the majority of the space is consumed by the breach of the gun (note this is "gun" singular). A 122mm is a massive gun. Larger than the 105mm guns in the tanks I was associated with, and even larger than the 120mm main armament on current U.S. M1A2 tanks. There is no possible way that two of these weapons could be mounted as closely together as the ones modeled on the 703 II. There appears to be barely 2 bore diameters between them. That spacing should be at least 4 or 5 bore diameters. That would make the turret required to house them, much less the two loaders, a gunner and a commander, incredibly large. Now, to the ridiculous premise that any vehicle could actually survive the recoil force exerted by firing two 122mm guns simultaneously, I say "Ha!". There are documented test cases of experimental tanks sustaining damaged, mainly in the suspension, recoil mechanisms, and turret mountings by the firing of a single large caliber weapon. You would have to reinforce these components to such a degree to fire both weapons simultaneously that the vehicle would become prohibitively heavy. I won't even speculate on the ballistic complications of two large shells moving at 800 m/s through the air two bore diameter apart. I hate to think that, if the Frontline game mode returns, every knucklehead in it will have one of these atrocities. I guess I will have to learn to pick them apart with the more realistic tanks that I love. Thanks to QB for showing us the weak points.

I bought this tank yesterday, and I love it, because it is im fact more OP than the Dedender and Progetto, it is not IS-3A, true, but I still love it! I don't have the Topgun, or Radley Walters yet, but I Hope to get one in the future. This tank is great!

QB, I've missed out on previous years also. Got lucky this year in 6 boxes only for this 703 DB. Thanks for the good content and review.

After it fires both barrels, it takes 10s to reload 1 round, then another 10s to reload other round. You are not vulnerable for 20s like QB suggest. It operates as a normal reload tank once 2 barrels are fired! Very OP alpha for t8.

needs to be adjusted so RNG applies separately to each shot when fired together. Right now it seems they fire and travel as a single shell.

If you've noticed, the double shot on the su 122-44 in the second battle your reticle was half full and half dotted, the dotted half means your gun doesn't have a clear line of sight!

If this is allowed, they should make M3 Lee more functional ‘.

Imagine fighting this with a IS-6 or a KV-5.

Its not about loading the gold. Its about spending 250$ on loot boxes. I mean for a content creator to review the tank, its okay-ish. But boy that poor stupid souls that drop that much money into the game.

QB in the 2nd battle when you were preparing the double shot on su-122-44 (and explaining the left/right barrel aiming) the RETICURE itself informs you that one of the barrels doesnt have a clean shot ( the right side of the bloob circle is not a full line like the left side ) / the aim time given in stats (garage) idicates how long the reticule takes to shrink to 2/3 of maximum accuracy.

Speaking of double-barreled tanks and apocalyptic things: "The Armageddon is Here" "The Apocalypse cannot be stopped!" "The Instrument of Doom"

@24:29 - while QB is explaining the obstruction of the right barrel while side-scraping - note that WG gave a visual indicator on the aiming circle symbol while charging the double-barrel - it surrounds both shell symbols - the left side of the aim circle is solid, but the right barrel aim circle is dotted or broken. It's subtle, and easy to miss in the heat of battle, but a good indicator of clear or obstructed shot.

To clarify a bit. QB bought 150 boxes on the NA server and 50 on RU server. He got 5 tier 8 prem in the last 50 boxes on RU server. And he got 3-4 tier 8 prem in NA server 150 boxes.

I had a really hilarious moment yesterday when I was playing my AMX M4 mle. 49 Liberté and a Object 703 II flanked me and I knew that he is going to double shot me, so I managed to angel my armor towards him during hes preperation time and I bounced both shells. I was laughing my ass of.

It upsets me a little that QB rants about the anonymizer in a previous vid claiming he dont need it and its some of the most garbage content WG provided is with.. And now its released he's using it to the full extent of it.. Including removing his Ranked Beta badge which he ised for the last couple of years. I can understand that some ppl like the feature, but since he was complaining so much about it, i thought he'd at least have the balls to not use it..

24:44 in sniper view the reticle UI is telling you the right barrel is blocked because the semi circle on the right is dashed, but the cleared barrel on the left is a solid semi circle. It does this while you are charging the shot.

There should really be a key binding to switch to the other barrel while both barrels are loaded, so you can select the right barrel when going around a corner to the left

Perfectly balanced as all Soviets should be.

At the 23:45 mark when in sniper mode, you can see the indication that one of his barrels is blocked by an obstruction because the left half of the circle is solid and the right half, the barrel behind the rock, is dashed.

24:22 look at the charge up indicator, the left one is a solid line, meaning that barrel is clear, the right line is "dashed" meaning that barrel is obstructed. That's my observation anyway.
