I miss the T-18, loved playing it, and got quite good at killing it too. I think it was the first tank that made me research these weakpoints I'd been hearing about. I miss the Provence map so much. It was my favorite. I stayed at Tier II WAY too long becuase I was always hoping to get a match on Provence. The only truly different map in the game. It's a shame they took it away.
QuickyBaby and now we have it back on PC with our beloved T-50-2, which I was literally less than ten xp away from unlocking the night before it was removed. Had no clue it was happening and I logged on the next day heartbroken lol
The golden age of wot. It's sad that the game changed so much. I mist so much all the good times that I had with my homies but we all left because the game became basically trash.
Great job. 15 frags is epic. To all whith the opinion it would be easy to get 15 kills in tier 2: Try it out! Then show us your replays! I look forward to see your 15 kills videos! :-)
Im Prinzip ist es ja ganz einfach aber deine Mitspieler machen meistens mindestens immer 5 Kills von daher musste völlige Noobd im Team haben und ein episches MM
T18 is going to be nerfed soon. It's going to be an arty, like it was meant to be in the real world, and it will be replaced as the tier II TD by another vehicle with the same derpy gun but pen'nable armor so the noobs have a fighting chance against it. It's about damn time. The imbalance that thing created as a TD was ridiculous. In every tier II or III game, half or more of the tier II vehicles would be T18's.
+Chris Campbell Yes, it is a stupid vehicle, but even more stupid are the people who defend it. I started playing about 15 months after the game opened to the public and complained then about how the T18 was historically meant to be an arty piece and that it is too OP as a tank destroyer. I was but one of only a few voices crying out against it, the rest were having too much fun seal clubbing noobs and wouldn't hear of it. Now I feel vindicated by the upcoming change that wouldn't have been necessary at all if they had made the T18 historically accurate in the first place. The only reason why they are making the change now is because server populations are dropping off at the bottom tiers and the T18 being the way it is, is a contributing factor to that. It's too hard for a new player to kill, and that's assuming that it's being played by another new player with an inexperienced crew. If you have someone who has been playing for a while and holds onto the T18 just so they can troll the newbies and has a 100% crew in it, it becomes an unstoppable monster which discourages new players from trying to level past it's tier range. The first vehicle I felt really confident about taking on T18's in is the tier III Cruiser II with the derp gun. That thing just blows them apart. Yes, you can kill them with other tanks by hitting the gun port (really dangerous if they have derp) or getting around behind it and tackling it from the rear, but it's hit or miss at best. The Cruiser II derp gun removes all doubt. You hit it, it dies, you move on to the next target. The release of Armored Warfare is also putting pressure on Wargaming to get new players into WoT and to hold on to them.
+Chris Campbell Matchmaker is another issue. The scouting mechanic is obsolete so there's no need for scout matchmaking anymore. Top tier matchmaking is also seriously broken. Tier 8 players are really getting screwed by it. The power differential between tiers 8 and 10 is so bad that tier 8's are nothing but food for the top tier players. All they can do is struggle along as best they can until they finally manage to scrape together enough XP from losing to get into a tier 9 tank where they at least stand some kind of a chance against the tier 10's.
good old days, if this tank was still alive until now plus hd map, Province it's more epic but the new remake map is large so which means only for tier 3-10 battle
+Axel Alexander Really? Please name the gun from either tiers I or II that pens 50mm of frontal armor? There isn't one. The first gun I ever got that gave T18 drivers fits was the 3.7 inch howitzer in the tier III Cruiser II. You could one shot kill T18's with that all day long without ever worrying about whether you can pen them or not. The explosion on impact would just rip them to pieces regardless of where they were hit. Thankfully, the T18's armor is mostly upright and not sloped or else it would have been even more of a threat in tier III battles than it already was because tier III was when you could buy guns that could reliably pen them. Sloping the armor would have made them impenetrable to many of the tier III guns, as well as all of the tier I and II guns.
