The T28 Prot is a nice tank as long as you have patience with it !!! I have about 6-700 plays on mine, and I got a maximum of 8 kills in it, but I did get 2 Kolobanov's Medals over the course of several weeks !!! Very nice tank, but GOD DAMN is it SLOW !!!

That 59-16 player deserved a cruical contribution medal as well. Not only for his awesome spotting, but also for being an awesome player and helping DangerFromBehind getting those 14 kills (and not ruining it). Awesome player. We need more players like that.

When I saw t28 prot I started wondering how is he gonna move around el haluf Well, he isn't ;p

Before the introduction of premium ammo for credits and general ccuracy buff this TD used to be an absolute beast. I ground through it with 68% wins over 112 battles before unlocking the T30 and have fond memories of it. Back then it was basically just as well armoured as the T28 but it had a turret which made it simply better. Lately though with the aforementioned changes the T28 Prot. has been on a demise as has the T28 because they are just not worth playing much anymore unless the enemies are complete idiots. Good to see one do so well though, very nice match!

Even more impressive when you look at the FPS.

Lithuanians are proud of you, mr QB ;D. Your "Raseiniai" pronunciation was so good i had to rewind it a few times ;D, i was like "wait, what?!". Nobody on youtube (at least not on my radar) has ever said it that well. Yeah.. except "s" is pronounced "s" as in a word "silly" or "salmon" rather than "z" like in "zigzag" or "zero". Keep up the awesomeness ;)

A ton of kills, but actually really boring. He just camped the whole game. (which was clearly the right move, just not interesting to watch)

the T28 proto is a very good td. it has a great gun and the armour is even better then you would expect. i've bounced numerous rounds from high caliber guns without even angling the frontal armour.

Most people don't know this but those two objects on the back of the Prototype,t-28, and t-95 are actually in-door swimming pools. One for the officers and one for the enlisted.

T28 PROtotype next to JT 8.8 is my fav tier 8 vehicle. I have T30 already but keep his younger bro in garage. Awesome gun, good frontal armor and camo plus huge turret traverse. Yes is slowly but it's ok otherwise will be op

I loved my t28 prototype and I loved the grind to the t30 the tank was slow but I bounced a good amount of shots and dominated other players in this tank, now I'm on the t30 and I'm loving the tank.

with the base starter equipment, this tank is painful, that's all you needed to say. Even the fully equipped tank is a painful grind

I have found the best way to quickly get through the T30 is to abuse the high fire-rate and decent pen (great premium pen) of the 120mm, essentially returning it to its old heavy tank status. That said, the 155mm alpha is certainly far more satisfying.

I actually really enjoy playing the T28 Proto, so much so that I've kept mine after researching and purchasing the T30. I find it a very fun tank.

Now that is how a Tank Destroyer should be played. Find a nice spot, far away from the front lines, and engage enemy tanks as they are distracted by your teammates. Not like how those stupid tomatoes play; i.e. they have a turretless/casemate TD and go like "Oooohh look at me Imma Tank Destroyer I'm gunna own ur assez" and then just charge straight into the enemy. Few seconds later, they end up taken out, unable to defend themselves because they got tracked and can't aim at enemies because they have no turret. They're too stupid to understand the point of a tank destroyer, or they do but diss it anyway. On a side note: wow that T28 Proto has an amazing gun. Fast reload time AND high alpha damage. Damn, no wonder my brother gets scared whenever he sees one aiming at him.

Wish you'd done a post game shout out for the 59-16. He did a lot to help make sure the prot got his win.

I have seen this video before. Did Jingles post it? Thank goodness they deleted that position on El Halluf. It is a hard map now for lights and light mediums, but the only tanks that liked it before were TD's and arty. Definite improvement.

for me the t-28 proto was the single greatest upgrade from 1 tier to the next. and then again with the 120mm gun which makes tier 10 matches really no problem at all. then the T-30 is better still and then the beast 110e4 which i think is second to only the deathstar.

The poor armor and mobility of this tank almost requires enemies to just line up to get shot for it to do well. This is one of the many tanks that has suffered from easily available win rounds. It has amazing DPM when you're in a position to use it. The challenge is being in the right place at the right time with limited mobility.

I don't get why people here don't like the idea of "campaign" like if it was COD or something like that, this game is completely different than a first person shooter. With a t28 prot. you CAN'T just drive around like a scout , it is a very slow tank that once you get it fully upgraded it's deadly but remains a bit slow. The type of tank will determine how you will play this game and what role you'll have to follow depending on the map and what kinds of tanks your teammates are using. This is a tank destroyer, not a light tank or a medium, TD bring support to heavy or medium, or can also protect arty and base.... in other words if you have to camp, you'll have to do it no matter what happens if your role is to stay at base protecting, spotting or supporting there is nothing wrong with "camping".

When I first started playing WoT my first line to tier 10 was the American Turret TD line. of that my favorites were the Hellcat, The T28 Prot. and the T30. The T110E4 is fine but not as spectacular as the other 3. As for th T28 Prototype I developed a style of play that I feel that vehicle was designed for; think of it as direct fire arty. I would follow the heavies into battle, due to my speed they would all be engaged by the time I reached the front. However, because of this TD's high rate of fire and steady DPS, this situation was perfect. I would be able to deliver devastating supporting fire. Also, the front of this TD is rock hard for its tier and so it is a nice vehicle for holding choke points on the map or as a line breaker with the support of heavies. However, this video I think show the best game play I have ever seen. With the light tank scouting for the T28 Prot. he had great control over the engagements. The scout did an outstanding job. I wish more players would watch this video and get it through their head that this is a team effort. Great video!

its a good tank once you get the tier X gun. But its speed means having those games were your team kills everything before you can shoot. it can be frustrating because of that.

awsome gameplay, a bit sad though that in order to get some likes you need alot of kills x3. Would love to see some skillfull manouvres as well from time to time where people can also learn from.

Having grinded through both the T28 and prototype versions, I have to say the prototype has more effective armour. as you can angle around a corner and be nearly invincible, just got to worry about your turret cheeks. But if you keep it at range, than that isn't too much of a problem. Biggest problem with the T28 overall is the gun accuracy. Sometimes you'll miss shots completely even though you were aiming centre mass. But the proto is definitely better than the bare T28. Much more flexible and more effective armour make this tank a beast when it keeps its distance with its fantastic camo rating and view range. We'll have to see how the TD view range nerf treats it though.

My great failing in WOT is I rush in to trouble and get killed right away. In my Proto I cant rush any where and so I tend to survive and have good games. It makes me a better player and has taught me patience and timeing.

Stuff like this makes me question my decision to be a heavy tanker (that and constantly getting screwed by lemming trains)

Nice farm, however, dont put camo net on a Prot! It has bad camo already, so you may as well use the 3rd equipment on buffing something useful.

In my opinion, DangerFrom Behind did the right thing by engaging the enemy tanks from afar, which is where it is good at. It does not have the speed nor the armor to engage enemy tanks in close quarters, and it's just too slow! It would be easy for a light tank to chew it in seconds!

I had this tank and I liked it quite a lot. The only problem I had with it was the top speed. If it went 20kph max and was able to reach that, I'd think it was a well rounded, good tank. I recommend playing this tank if you don't mind going slow, yet love to pound the shit out of your enemies.

My highest tank ive reach before i get bored by the game :) i loved him so much. good armor ( not against ISU tho) and epic gun with brutal dps and pene, actually first tank where i did not have to care about aiming weakspots that much :) And best thing bout it is that u always have an excuse for camping: your engine. :D

Just got my t28 prototype and got a 12,975 XP round. Thats with ops activated but no XP multipliers

Thank you for this good video. :) Your style to comment the replays works very well. I played my last WoT battle about a year or two ago. (I played this game way too much before that.) But when I saw this video, I felt like _maybe_ I could play a round or two more... maybe they have added new nice medium tanks to the game. (My all time favourite tanks in this game are U.S. T20 and Russian T-34.)

This guy has win rate 55 % while playing with 12 fps and 120 ping? That is simply awesome.

2:50 t28 proto leads to t30 not t95, QB. I think you confusing the two lines. Danger from behind really proved his name, he killed that BP .... from behind :) T28 proto is a solid td, I had fun in it, the only drawback is its extremely low speed. I think I got 8 kills in it, and it does work best with a scout. Early scouting and proper passive scouting do wonder for your t28 protos, because they can decide early where to shift their bulk and help the frontline. Without proper scouting, you are condemned to sit there, not using your gun, which makes a very frustrating game.

I wish there was a camp system in this game to make custom camos for your tanks. Kind of like the custom skins for guns you could make with call of duty. I just think that would be awesome and prob make wargaming some money to bc they could sell certain shit for gold or whatever.

The Prot really isn't a good tank, and yet I always seemed to do well in it. I think I had a 54% or 55% win rate in mine? That 120mm can be really nasty when it isn't trolling you harder than a BL-10.

When he zooms in to snipe for some reason I noticed that everything in that view has a blue tint to it.

That was fucking astounding. Lately I have gotten into a game, poked my nose out, got vaporized, and still got a 71% wr :P Mind you my WN8 is only 1430 atm :( I have to play ULTRA conservatively to survive. its like I have zero armor regardless of the tank.

The more I read comments in videos I watch the more I lose faith in humanity. No matter how good certain player performs in replay that QB wants to show us there are still people that will bash player from said video for ANY. FUCKING. REASON. Why don't you guys post videos with result at least CLOSE to what we can see here or on other QB video? That's why, you're one of "tomatoes" that you bash and you'd propably never in your life achieve such a result. With that being said. Thanks for replay QB, game was really impressive. Prot is awesome i had a Good game in it 7 kill 6k dmg and i alone with 100 hp vs arty and he killed me its was an so big heartbreak

The t95 has triple the side armor..... So I don't think you can say " bad side armour like the t95 " when it has triple the armour on the side.....

It and t28 basically got killed by prem shells for silver, huge flat surfaces to pen and no way to move out of the way. Used to enjoy these but now t28 sold and t28 nearly so :(

You should have looked at the 59-16's spotting. They should be tied for MVP. The T28 Proto would've been fucked without him, and he would have been fucked without the 59-16.
