my gfx card imploded a few weeks ago, running on mobo's onboard gfx atm till a rebuild, so yeah, FR sucks. Foliage is not my friend, which in a light tank doesnt help much.

I disagree with your statement that bad attitude comes more from good players than bad. At least, from the purples. Being purple myself, I've actually never raged at my team; I tend to be the more pointing out mistakes, giving people different approaches to tactics. I spent a majority of a pub game maybe 5 games ago coaching a leopard how to scout using bushes and not get seen. The human mind also has a tendency to remember most of the bad experiences, not the good ones. For every raging purple, you might have 10 more quiet ones that you simply don't remember, at least, that's IMO with my experience on NA. If you want some lessons and play on NA, HMU at Angelicpeaches and we'll plat. And trust me, compared to other games, the toxicity in this game is actually quite minimal.

BOb Jones I like the supportive attitude, Bob, but most likely Marcy is referring to the 50-55% players that are good enough to feel entitled, so they act like dicks. And there are magnitudes more of those players than Purple, 60% and up players. No doubt, he's exaggerating, but not necessarily about your niche.

I do agree. I've also made the experience that bad attitude seems to be worse in players with good stats. I've been playing in a platoon with the same 2 guys since the beginning, where we started as noobs/tomatoes. Now the other 2 are greens (I'm yellow; slow learner :P) and whenever we have a bad game with a collective team fail, they tend to rage (not always ingame, mostly on TS) about how badly the team was, what noobs they are all, what idiots and so on, forgetting that we all started as noobs and we've all done some really idiotic things just because we didn't know any better. I've also experienced this ingame, where green or purple players just lose it, insulting the others, giving away positions to the enemy team or even teamkilling. I just don't get it. What are they trying to achieve? It would be way more effective for them if they could give helpful clues in chat. I remember one game I had as a newbie in my Chi-Nu or Chi-To (don't remember) on the old El Halluf. I was camping in the back, yes, just waiting for enemies to pop up, which was never going to happen the way the game played out (but I didn't realize that, not understanding the spotting system well enough back then). So I had another (good) player in my team who told me in a nice way that I'm useless back there and that it would be better for me to go down to that hill and try to spot for our TD's and arty, peeking and going back into cover. Because he was polite, I actually tried it out and we had a really good game afterwards and won. And from then on, I used that position more often in my mediums and it helped me understand the game mechanics much better. Of course, there is often not enough time to teach every noob in a battle what he should be doing, but a little helpful hint here and there would do a lot more than all the toxicity most often going on.

Igor Horvat While that is true in general, I don't think that youtube voting system reflects that. Every like/dislike bar I've seen mainly reflects exactly what DarkDemon said. If it was to show the true like/dislike ratio, every video there is would certainly have larger percentage of dislikes than they do now. People simply don't dislike videos because they don't like them (it sounds silly, but I hope you know what I want to say). They dislike them if they are "offended", find them to be a bad influence, they have an emotional negative trigger-reaction to them and so on, and so on. People that "just dislike" the content simply don't rate the video. I firmly believe that's true in 99.99% cases. So, yes, maybe "idiotic" was out of place, but "haters" I believe is the correct assumption. Or, like jankuschef said, people that are directly insulted, which basically boils down to same thing. I am not saying whether it should be like that or not (In my opinion it shouldn't, I think it sterilizes everything and is forcing people to not act but follow trends and be passive, instead of actively - positively or negatively - criticise some content), but the common "culture" of rating youtube videos basically goes from "don't rate" to "rate positively" for the VAST majority of youtube viewers. If a viewer isn't a troll, hater or has a VERY STRONG agenda/reason to downvote, he simply won't do it.

Yup, that's what I don't like about that map either. It's so annoying when you're in a fast tank trying to quickly flank an enemy that's been spotted on the other side of a house. It's like "ha, now I got you", then you turn the corner just to suddenly find yourself right in front of a stupid barricade. Takes so long to find a way out that the enemy is dead or killed your own teammate before you get there. Worst part is that you can't always tell from the minimap if a road is blocked or not. Guess it takes a little more learning of the map...

Doesn't really matter. I also have repair on 4. You can click 45 as fast as 55. However, changing it now after thousands of battles would just cause you a bunch of confusion and misclicks for the next X hundered games until you get the hang of all the combinations again.
