As a Chinese medium driver, I always chuckle when Jingles call 5 degrees of gun depression "bad".

This was definitely an awesome episode. If the Luchs is the cutest tank then the ELC is the French supermodel. Sleek and slender, elegant and graceful. Also, I hate XVM and refuse to use it at all. 9/10ths of the time all it does is either defeat your team's morale or inflate their ego. I've already got very little faith in my teams as it is and most times I can predict outcomes via tank type distribution. I don't need some asshole yelling out "gg" at the start of the match because some program tells him he's going to lose. To me when you do that you've defeated yourself before you even try. Yes your team may be shit but replays like that one with the Type T-34 only reinforce the idea to me that while stats can say things about other players, it's certainly not the entire picture.

I ran the 76mm on the jumbo for a long time, because I like higher penetration, and higher RoF, especially when I was much worse at gunnery.

As a german, I couldn't stop laughing when you compared the luchs to waltz, prochnow and kruger. How do you know them, waltz and kruger is obvious, but which movie with prochnow have you seen, jingles?

WHY is everyone using 2nd turret with Jumbo? Jumbo is 'heavy' with good armor but anemic guns. And when you get 2nd turret, you basically make it into slow medium with mediocre penetration. Trust me, it's not enough to compensate for loss of armor, which is 152mm + 177mm mantlet. Heck, even cupola has 152mm.

The thing i hate the most about jingles's videos is that they come to an end. I could literaly sit all day in bed watching his videos.

Wargaming have lost me. Im really just so sick of all the nerfs. And the new patch bring accuracy nerfs has really just put me off. One of my favorite tanks in the game is the leopard 1. and the great thing about it is its ACCURACY and mobility. It has been power creeped with the recent additions of these dpm monsters. I wish they would stop adding new premiums and carbon copies of russian tier ten mediums, and tank destroyers that rape you in 10 seconds. And just balance what we have. They need to work on the fundamentals and stop buffing and nerfing basic game mechanics every patch. they need to focus on it and make it better. rant done. what do you think about them jingles?

Thank you for installing XVM. It really does help with clearing up whats happening at the moment and in my eyes it also helps improving the quality of the shown footage since we ourself can't really interact with the replay and thus can't have that "overview" or "immersion" or whatever you wanna call it of someone who does if you understand what I mean. It's really hard to concentrate on you talking while watching the replay and trying for example to keep count on the amount of damage someone does. In this case the hitlog in the top-left corner really helps. And thank you for those (almost) daily uploads you do, it's always nice to get home from school and watch some Jingels messing something up (War Thunder - The Shermanator anyone?) ^^.

been playing WoT since 2011, and for every day and every patch the thrill of the game disapears more and more. I really try to have fun, but it aint there anymore. Loosing and winning feels the same!? The only thrill is to watch the game on RU-vid, so thank you Jingles

When I first got my Luchs, I hated it... but then once everything was upgraded- I came to love that little tank. Sadly, had to sell it for the credits, but may buy it again soon

For gods sake there is a difference between "xvm" and "xvm with stats enabled". XVM just gives you more information, mostly with the minimap, that is extremely useful. All these people who say they don't use XVM just because you can turn on stats (yes, they are disabled by default) are just shooting themselves in the foot.

I am in complete dismay after witnessing that horrendous sight! I am talking with my physiologist right now and have been diagnosed with PTSD. That poor Luchs...

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, Jingles, but on the Xbox 360 edition, the Jumbo can carry either gun with either turret. The latest update allows the heavier turret with the M1A2 gun, and damn is it a fantastic combo.

I don't know about anyone else, but to me, the M5 Stuart with the howitzer (before they nerfed it out of existence D:) was the cutest and most hilarious light tank in the game. To this day it is in my favourite tank and the best tank I've ever performed with haha.

If they add a Commander Jingles to Armored Warfare, one of his lines should be "And, on that bombshell, looks as though you've totally screwed up again." when his tank is destroyed. Preferably by a bombshell.

76mm can actually pen too, specially when you get tier 8 matches. Love the jumbo!

Luchs is a fun tank to drive but in my view , any player can be really good and can have fun when he is in a good team and fighting against good players .

Looked through the comments and didn't see it pointed out. The top turret on the Jumbo has the same frontal armour as the stock turret (152mm) but that 76mm sides and rear is the downfall along with the fact the stock turret is very rounded while the upgraded one has flatter sides. I've had the 122mm of a KV-85 bounce off the back of the turret.

Luchs is Jurgen Prochnow! The moment you started naming American actors I thought about Jurgen! I just wanted to write it here and the next moment you said Jurgen Prochnow. Jurgen is fantastic actor, and imposing with his physicality.

I run the jumbo with the m1a2 and I've never even considered using the derp gun because the m1a2 on this thing works very good for me. ^^

I can't believe that people are saying the chaffee is cute but not the 12 ton :O 12 ton is the cutest tank in the game, much cuter than the luchs is.... nobody can deny that.... the luchs is just a small metal box while the 12 ton has a face only a mother could love, yet it has confidence, which makes it adorable. Oh yeah, and it looks a bit like a mouse.... that helps it too....

I've actually used the Jumbo for quite sometime and the reason I don't use the howitzer is very simple - this tank sees tier 8s, and that howitzer just can't do the job reliably against them. I still use it on the M4 of course, but it feels quite underpowered on the Jumbo in tier 8 games, which I seem to get into half of the time I hit 'battle'.

Jingles, the Jumbo works just fine with the 105mm and regular HE ammo, primarily because the turret "upgrade" is a major downgrade and totally nerfs what the Jumbo does best, which is take hits. With proper angling and the stock turret, the Jumbo is ridiculously bouncy, and the HE ammo lets you do surprising things like stand against numerous heavies and hold a single corridor by yourself while still dealing damage to well angled and armored heavies. (particularly module damage - taking out an enemy gun module is a great way to eliminate enemies from a game when you can't hurt them any other way)

3:28 Never gets old!

I actually use the serp gun on my Jumbo and I like it. The fact you can get hulldown without the enemy is able to pen you is great. And I rarely use HEAT because it only has 101mm of pen and with the slightest angle or spaced armor it does no damage what so ever. Its all about picking the right targets. Even though I killed a IS-6 with the derp gun shooting HE only :D

I actually use mostly HE ammo on 105mm derps since the HEAT nerf and it works very well. In my opinion, the added penetration of the HEAT isn't worth the cost in most scenarios, though I do carry some HEAT to shoot when it makes sense (surprise butt-sex on heavy tanks comes to mind). The HE is also great when you are bottom tier as you can keep enemies tracked, wreck other modules/crew, and do consistent damage. It also helps that the devs keep adding more and more targets that have armor which is easily penned by HE shells.

Hey Jingles I am one of those World of Tanks commoners who play on the XBOX 360 version (I know, I know I am not worthy of being in the same company as the World of Tanks PC player Nobles:-) But please indulge me for a moment. Anyway after watching today's video I went back and looked at the packages available on my Jumbo. Low and behold at some point they changed it on the XBOX so you can use the 76mm with the big heavy turret. As expected it drops the view range to 330 BUT also the rate of fire down to just over 14.4. So I fitted it (for free) and took my JUMBO out on the town! The tank not my, never mind... Lost a close match but boy did it take a beating and I was one of the last to be taken out and as usual one of the top xp earners on my team. My question to you is on your advice I fitted the vertical stabilizer (as you have said if your tank can fit one then you probably should) but with the big turret being able to fit the 76 what should my equipment fitting be? Currently I am running Vertical stabilizer, Vents and Gun Rammer. I am thinking of pulling the Vertical Stabilizer in favour of Coated optics (to gain back most of the view range loss) and keeping the Vents and Gun Rammer. What say you sir??? Thank you for all your advice and these great videos, most of my 20 plus tanks in my garage I have acquired based on your reviews and recommendations. My Spouse and Wallet don't thank you (too much time and money spent playing WOT:-) but I THANK YOU! I have to say jingles,that with the Jumbo, there's no need to get the upgraded turret. You keep the tough on, but you dint get that 76mm upgraded cannon, you get intermediate 76mm, that is just the same that the upgraded one with less DPM. It has a slower reload. Just a bit. And with BIA, some vents it's solved. And so, you have the tough turret and the rapid firing 76mm (the not that rapid firing said)

I love the jumbo and have always used the 76mil on it, with very good results
