Oh good memories... And what do we get these days? Prokhorovka and Fiery Salient with some occasional Malinovka.

How about Hidden village... I personally miss that map the most alongside with Pearl River

I actually really liked all of these maps and have a lot of memories in them from when I first started playing the game. It makes me feel sad watching this video, or any replay on these maps. Province was the most iconic low tier map for me. It's where I'd usually expect to be if I was playing a tier 2 tank.

Liked these maps more than the current maps

I stopped playing wot in 2014 and I'm sad they removed these maps there were so many good memories on this map

They removed some great dynamic maps, but kept the fking Malinovka? What kind of fkd up universe is this?

Amazing video! I do play WoT since November 2011 and it was great to make this little memory-trip, especially because sometimes you do not even recognize that maps were taken out and then you see this video - GREAT! Can't wait for a second part!!

Pearl River, Komarin, Province North West, Dragons Rideg, are all still on Console.

They need to add a lot of these back in. A lot of the newer maps downright suck and are eye cancer to look at.

I think Pearl River is not as bad as fucking El Halluf, which completely sucks.

Without these maps WoT will never be the same.

Great video. I always liked playing on province and north west and pearl river was one of my very favourite maps. Hopefully they will bring pearl river back one day.

pearl river and north west.. kinda miss them honestly.. map rotation nowadays seem like there is only 4 maps in the game..

Now we have a bunch of city maps, useless for 3 kinds of tanks and fun to play only for heavies.

This brought back memories. I was pretty new for most of these maps, so I didn't feel that they were that bad, but then again, I wouldn't have known. The one that you said was the best (dragons ridge?) I never even got to play since it was before my time. Please do another of these videos. I'd love to see more!!! Whenever they remove maps, it makes me sad...

The maps they removed were by far the most dynamic and fun to play, nowadays its either go this side or that side and that's it. Our clan's tactics now comprise of shall we go left or right?

I loved all the maps except Komarin. WG WE NEED AT LEAST 4 NEW MAPS

I wish we could have all of these maps back. I'm sick of only getting five or six maps in the rotation :(

I loved dragon ridge, but my all time favorite map was port. I would also like to see a "The Lost Tanks..." My favorite tank was the Aufkl.panther, 42 tonnes of german steel moving at 72 km/h. that was trollishly good, and I caught quite a few light and medium tanks off guard by charging over the bridges, face first into them, killing us both. those were the days.

Dragon Ridge looks epic, never got to play that one. I liked all of the rest, they were better than the awful city maps we have to grind through today. Province was great for learning about view range and cover

South Coast was my favorite I also played river run on Komarin, which is trying to get through the entirety of the river

Pearl River was an awesome map too. It allowed for so many different strategies and the ample vegetation imrpoved camo-ratings a lot. I was just wondering if the map would work in Encounter mode with a cap in the centre brawling zone instead of team caps.

Have fond memories of province. One of my first artilleries was the Bison, while it was still a tier 2. got my first kill in it by firing a shell across the map outside trajectory mode. Felt good.

Oh, so thats why i never see the good maps now. I keep getting the same annoying maps over and over again now.

I stopped playing WOT to concentrate on WOWS since the open beta so this video brings me a lot of memories. I did not realize so many maps have been removed since then. Thanks for the video.

I watched both videos for Lost maps, and they brought some fun memories, If WG decide to put back some of these maps than probably I would start playing again.. Cheers!

I MISS SEVREGORSK! I like to watch the replays from that map, especially the one Jagdpanzer E 10O that did over 10K dmg. I would love to see it coming back :D

Dragon Ridge was one of my favorite maps. I'd love to see it brought back into the rotation.

the first version of Pearl River didn't had a middle part to fight and flank in. You just had the north-east corridor, the southwest brawl and sometimes someone drove through the village. and the north-west cap used to be in the field on D4

I realy miss some of those maps =( Dragon Ridge, North West and Pearl River were some of my absolute favorite maps in the game!

pearl river and northwest you are sorely missed pearl river i miss because it was just such a fun map to play no 2 games no that map ever played out in the same way it made the gameplay extremely dynamic and there were so many options for attacking the enemys. northwest was a truely 3 dimensional map it had the low ground in the south the high ground in the north and the centre area of the map in the middle in terms of height between the 2. nowadays we get prokorovka an 8 min campfest of a map which hasnt been fun to play since 2012 and malinovka a map were you cant push forward you have to fight on a hill while being nuked by tds and arty on both of those crappy maps. yet we lost 2 f the most diverse and interesting maps we ever had in the form of pearl river and northwest. i dont know what wargaming was thinking to remove those maps yet we are still stuck with the 8 min campfest maps which are the most dull maps in the game. bring them back wargaming pls and do something about prokhorvka and malinovka those maps are unplayable these days.

Good video! Would love to see what happened to Hidden Village. Not sure about others but I had a lot of fun on that map.

this is a pretty good vide. there were quite a few maps i used to play when i started that arent available now. ive encouraged wargaming to minimize credit loss to make players return and improve the qualities of the teams once again. also ive asked them to bring back many of the old map and continue to work on them for lower tiers. this and perhaps a slight free xp boost or something could help offer much needed motivation to play lower tier tanks from time to time.

i remember ALL of them, im a really old player (first time i played the game in 2009) holy fuck this video is hard braking.... i loved those maps.

we should really petition WG to bring back some of these maps.....because you know physics...and more range of tanks. just think what can be done with the tanks and physics we have now on these maps

I came back, last time I played was around 2013, and I started back up at the end of 2016. I realized some of these maps had been removed, but I had completely forgotten about other ones, like Dragon's Ridge.

Kormarin is the only map that should have been removed as it was truly terrible.

They had Dragon's Ridge around in training rooms for a while, and I used to do hide-and-seek in low tier light tanks with friends. Damage was only allowed by ramming, due to the excellent cliffs and hills. Newer physics would make the map even better with minor tweaks.

I just loved Province. I don't play WoT on PC now, but i still remember that map.

Maybe an idea to do the same thing with tanks? looks fun to me and very interesting.

Pearl River was one of my favourite maps. I had an awesome TOG game on the southern base - half of the enemy team sneaking around the western edge, came upon my lone TOG which had just managed to get up the hill. A small shootout and I realised that I was done for. Reversed the TOG into the road up from the base and turned it side on. Blocked the road. As view of the enemy tanks vanished my team went for the cap, and I watched the wrecked TOG gently rocking back and forth as the enemy team tried to push it out of the way, laughing my socks off :) Not a conventional win, but one I treasure to this day...

Man I really miss the low tier version of province. That map was the only thing that made tier 1 and 2 fun to play.

I love the fact that qb did this video, just because we were talking the other day about old maps! :) They should really bring North West, Pearl River and Dragons Ridge back, and man, whats the problem with low tier Province? I loved it! And my mates that started playing wot later also always loved Province. I really hope that wargaming takes this into mind.

pearl river squad here. never have i ever had such a beautiful memory of a map then when i was a noob in my stock m4a3e2 and drove down the entire path to the enemy base uninterupted, incredible. That was 2014.

I do hope you put out more of these videos and I hope you are able to help possibly pressure WG to bring some of them back. To me even unbalanced maps provide a challenge and your 50/50 of getting the favored side anyway. Anyway great job QB!!
