They don't need to be full just to haver the DragonFlyght proff. Because they will just learn it from you and you will provide all the mats . A guy who did it for me on enchanting and leather working was a newbie on both proffs.
6:04 Divine Shield stops the effect but you still get quest progress. 9:15 You can go to your WoD garrison and then Prooving grounds. Resetting the challenge resets the quest item and you can do it in 10 minutes instead of 2 hours. additionally make sure you are targeting yourself when activating the materials.
Nice Guide, thank you! The Superbloom part is disguting and alot of pain... just did 5 in a row and only got 80/200 with the 50% buff after the 2nd SB. With full 40 man raids we only got 2 bags + boss, only 1 time with 3 bags...probably thats why i got so low.
Yeah, it's rough - I was in luck that I found a specific raid filled to the brim with paladins/dks and warriors who had the same goal as me. It still took 10 Superblooms or so. Press on - it'll be rewarding once you'll acquire the weapon :)
very nice guide....thanjk you. will see when i get the Axe with my DK. what interests me the most is are the receipes bind on account? because you said that you need to teach the receipes the ones that are crafting the items for you. as i have an leatherworker, enchanter and insctriper on my WoW account...all individual chars.
Yes, they are soulbound - but they are not consumed on use. So I would think you could try something along the lines of making sure both characters are logged out near each other. Log char 1 (with LW) out via exit game. Then log back in on char 2 (with recipe), char 1 will still be standing in game so you could teach it to char 1. Then log to char 1 to confirm it worked. If yes, place a personal crafting order for char 1. Repeat for other professions. If that doesn't work, you'll have to find a guildie/friend who could help out.
Qq i didn't get it can you get the weapon even if you have completed raid in one week on every difficulty? So in short can you kill him multiple times a week and get the weapon?
Hey there, thanks for the video! I seems to have an issue with the "To the test: Concentrated Sophic Vellum" quest my progression percentage went from 60% to 5% is that a bug or is it how the quest go :p?
I believe if you do it on heroic, you get bad luck protection of having to do it on LFR and Normal. Like doing it on LFR, then Normal, then Heroic, is the same as just doing it on Heroic. Am I wrong on this? I'm not sure if this applies to the embers or just the chance Fy'ralath has to drop.
No, each difficulty has its own ability to drop Fyr'Alath - it's just that the lower the difficulty, the less likely to drop. But Embers can still drop on the lower difficulties to increase your drop chance overall. Which is why I did them all for 4/5 weeks :)
@@Karzal105not sure if you understand what the original comment is saying. What you said about it just having a lower chance to drop on LFR compared to other difficulties isn’t entirely correct. (Gonna use fake drop chances here to get the idea across). If I clear heroic Fyrakk and nothing else, I have a 6% chance for the leggo to drop. If you clear lfr first, then normal, then heroic, you will have had a 1% chance on lfr, 2% chance on normal, and then 3% chance on heroic. Basically, both you and I had a 6% chance to get it that week, except you could have just cleared heroic once instead of all 3 levels to have the same chance.
@@ryanpauldev4722 Ah right, no I didn't properly understand - thanks for correcting me. But still though, then wouldn't it be a tad strange that in the same week I got it, I first cleared it on heroic and it then dropped on normal?
@@Karzal105 yeah definitely strange, not sure I could explain that. Here’s a quote from a blue post about fyralath - “As with Nasz’uro, completion on higher difficulties will include your chances from all uncompleted lower difficulties that week-this also includes the cumulative increase in chances for future weeks.” Maybe you broke the system 🤣 or probably more likely is that whatever dev is writing these blue posts doesn’t understand all of the math included with the new “bad luck protection” functionality. Either way, you saying this confirms that I have to do lfr and normal every week, which fuckin sucks.
@@ryanpauldev4722 Honestly... the system can probably only be understood by those who actually implemented it :P In regards, to LFR - is quite easy, strats are non-existent so you'll be able to complete it in 15 mins tops. Normal, ah - there's probably groups that'll start from Fyrakk ;)
Crazy frustrating quest.. the axe dropped for me but i dont have the money not the time to grind for the mats. I only play about 3 hours a week. Guess im not going to complete this.
Hi. If i have enchanting, can i do that part with my own profession? To learn the recipe and craft it. You said that it has to be created via crafting order and that's why i'm asking...
You CAN make it for yourself... technically, you can do all three for yourself if you don't care about dropping a proff and picking up another, you only need to be DF lvl-1 on any profession to learn and do it.
I have almost figured out the math on the drops, but I need to know 1 factor to solve this, you said you did LFR, normal and heroic every week, on the week that you got the axe, what difficulty did you get it on and had you already killed fyrakk before that day/week before you get the axe?
@@Karzal105 What difficulty DIF you start with? Do you remember? Since blizzard sent out and Said if you complete HC first and not get the axe you have used your chances also for normal. Like its combinding HC+NM drop % rate and you cant get the axe more that week. Thats why i ask if u started with HC that week or if you knows if you can even tho you already completed the HC one and still have chance at Normal for the axe drop. Good content! 🙌🏽
LFR and Normal don't count jack for kills... they "technically" do, but the % they give is NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. 40 LFR kills is 15%... 40 Normal kills is 30%... yes... 40... on Heroic, 14 Heroic kills is 100%... (and 6 Mythic kills is 100%) after 10 months of doing Fyrakk on Normal you're not even at a 50/50 chance... they really aren't worth the time and effort if you're serious about getting the axe, do either Heroic or Mythic.
No, you can have someone else do it - as long as they have the profession. You will have to teach whomever you pick the recipe and then create a crafting order for them.
Exactly. Being always top of the dps meter. Who got the legendary every week. Those who died or did less dmg than tanks. I just canceled my sub, hopefully i got mine next week XD@@jordanhickling9367
What specific area do you feel like you're struggling with? Is it the sheer amount of small adds or managing to kill the big adds in time? Or do you simply take too much damage and haven't got enough selfhealing?
That can be said about any piece of gear, no? ;) I do know that it will be a lot more difficult to obtain in the next x-pac due to some of the events requiring group effort like the superbloom.
@@Karzal105 Yeah it can but this one comes at the end of the exp if I am not wrong. I mean stacking all things, too hard to obtain and having come too late, it looses value a lot. Well, it is a good weapon though. So, enjoy...
great guide thanks a lot, its a shame that this was just a Dad quest for world players, itd have been much nicer to just have a raid progression element instead. (my personal opinion ofc) I just didn't enjoy the process.
It didn't stack when I tried to - and I did try. But if that is the case, that is good :) Makes it a lot easier. Also, in regards to the max skill - that was altered after I made the video. See top comment I pinned for the discussion about that.
What I find extremely disgusting and annoying is that Blizzard is using legendary questline as a money sink. I play on EU servers and using gold to buy tokens so I don't have millions in my bags. So if I would like to finish the questline I would literally need to buy sub with real money or im fucked.
The way they time gated this part of the game is complete rubbish first you run raid finder normal and heroic every week then when you finally get it you have to spend another week gathering items then your gold gated or profession gated as soon as you gather the items horrible man
This second part definitely isn't timegated :) It did take me about 14/15 hours of non-stop playing, but I got the legendary done within two days after the drop.
yeah although lower chance from lower diff ! there was a post about 4 lege dropping in LFR last week from the same kill ! so i assume the tokens we get to buff our luck kinda works :D
@@MyCrankAss yes and no, I’d you do heroic it “Rolls the dice” on all difficulties under it, so technically u only have to do heroic and it will combine all the 3 chances, and will give you a Greater Essence that will buff all 3 chances, so what me and friend do is one normal run at start of week to see if we can get it before Guild Heroic for parses, if not we just hope on guild heroic, but technically u can just run Heroic on Tuesday and it would be same as running LFR then Normal then Heroic
