WATCH my World of Warcraft SHADOWLANDS Cinematic Trailer Reaction!
WoW Shadowlands expansion is finally and officially announced at Blizzcon 2019!
Blizzard Entertainment and the cinematic team did it again! This World of Warcraft cinematic was amazing and action-packed, Bolvar The Lich King is back! and no more? The shadowlands cinematic raised Sooo many questions! WoW Shadowlands is on the horizon though, and soon we'll have the next chapter for Warcraft.

Fun fact: the skeleton at 1:26 draging that axe with the horned helm is the same skeleton in the Wotlk cinematic. Our boy lived for this long.

I mean she was going to Icecrown.. she would have been sliding all over the place in heels :) But to be fair I don't know if I've ever seen her in high heels?

Mirror Image of "dead side" glad you noticed it :D some think it's a spaceship LOL, when you die you basically go to that mirror image and then get resurrected :P But now she fused this two worlds "Shadowlands"

yea from what ive heard, bolvar is still going to be able to raise new death knights, so he still have some semblance of power over the dead, plus hes gonna be a friendly helping us trek through the shadowlands

This is exciting for sure. Blizzard doesn't usually spend the resources to use a character in a fully rendered cinematic if they plan on casting him aside.

MrMilesTV very true, I haven’t been this excited for an expansion since legion for wow, and shadowbringers for ffxiv, I like the more fantasy aspects of Azeroth, not a fan of the war elements

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who saw that 5 second foreshadowing of her breaking the helm instead of putting it on. I didn't believe for one minute that she would, so I looked at her hands. Sure enough, when I saw her hands wrapping around the two halves of the helm like that I was like: "She's gonna break it!"

well I love how they teased her putting the helm on.. then took it away.. A lot of people thought we would get a Lich Queen themed expansion so this was a little tease or troll.

But I personally went into this cinematic trailer thinking: ”Why would she want the helm tho?” While the concept is undoubtedly really cool, the idea of her becoming Lich Queen made no logical sense in my mind, because it didn't align with her goals whatsoever. Why become the Jailor of the Damned of all things?

Now we can explain Sylvannas sudden increase in shadow magic as mentioned in the end cinematic of the last expansion when (jania i think) says something along the line of her not having that kind of power before unless she has been hiding it. She has the shadow lords backing her is my guess, how else would she have known what breaking the lich kings helmet would do?

This cinematic didn't disappoint me at all. Everyone expected Sylvanas was going to put the Helm of Domination on her head but then came the mindblowing moment. I really hope we see more Bolvar (maybe he'll reunite with Taelia) and hope we get to see Arthas in the Shadowlands! Maybe they will reforge the Helm of Domination in the end of expansion. Bolvar looked btw SICK in this trailer! 😍

She tore through the Veil by destroying the key that held it shut. That is the Shadowlands. It's a realm that mirrors Azeroth. I am also sure that this is Where the Void Lords reside. They are the enemy that Sargeras feared.

Most evidence points to the big bad guy being Mueh'zala, a deity recognized by the trolls as being the "formless Shadow" who Odin gave his eye to. He's been hinted at for years now, but is basically death personified and is Bwonsamdi's boss.

I'm not sure if this is where void-lords reside, they could reside in the 'void'. This seems death-themed and the void fears true death. Though obviously Slyvanas' powers *do* seem void like they don't have a star-like theme or the magenta hue most void-related stuff does. The void is a byproduct of the light, each element on the cosmology map has a certain color - but was produced by the sea of light. When the light came to be, it shown onto the 'dark nothingness'. So we are to presume that something lied in the dark before light and life was a thing..

Yeah I'm not sold on the Void Lords being there as its where the souls of the dead go..so under the theme of death.. death being created by the burning legion (i think) to quell the Old Gods who were created by the void, not sure the void would be hanging out in there. but thanks for watching and commenting!

The Void Lords reside in The Void wich just like the shadowlands is a separate dimension just like the twisting neather, emerald dream and such. that's how i've understood it so far.

Sylvanas had to break the veil into the afterlife so she can be reborn.It's time for Sylvanas to go home and become Queen of the Night Elves.She never wanted to be undead, Arthas and the Lich King power made her that way.

Sylvanas was never a Night Elf, she was a High Elf. Sylvanas doesn't want to be reborn, she thinks our world is a prison and has released us from it. But you are right she didn't choose to be this.

So besides the whole ripping a hole in the sky thing, with the helm broken, what's holding the scourge back now? If the helm forced the scourge to obey its wearers will, without it, they'll be free to do whatever they want now.

Well most of them get killed by sylvanas in this cinematic alone. Those who are with bolvar. Im not sure if bolvar gathered more. I bet the some scourge will have their free will. But their numbers dwindled

the though of she becoming a lich queen appear to me just after she said that this world is a prison and she like turn the helm not before and i start like.. not screaming but i wasnt far off to not putting it on.. :D like.. that would be really stupid idea.. to do :D could it be even possible ? :D is a male helmet and title is a king :D i thing Sylvanas is as not fit to be a lich king as the Bolwar himself.. also that fight was so easy for her.. he didnt even try lol

Dethrox he was weak because Sylvanas has a deal with the “head death guy” so usually when people die the power goes to the LK, but since WoD it’s been going to Sylvanas. So Bolvar was weak after not getting the power from all the deaths, hence why she started that war, to get fed more power so she could do this
