Ahn'Qiraj - the only content that ever sent chills up my spine

Spending a month or two learning and finally defeating bosses like the Twin Emperors and still having a server first was something I'll never forget.

Man its been forever since I raided this.. i remember anxiously awaiting this hell of a raid to be released. Now that wrath of the lich king is out i see 10man group goin in and accomplishing this once 40 man raid.

top 3 best Dungeons of all time. if only i was there for the opening of the gates event.

Yeah. It doesn't get much better than the old-school WoW, man..

it's The Prophet Skeram, first boss in 40-man instance Temple of Ahn'Qiraj

On "Blackhand" it's become common for 10-15 men raids on these old world instances for achievements. AQ was by far the most interesting . Check yer LFG windows for achvmnt runs and have fun! For The Horde !!!

@Detnawnu Yeah, and after a couple of months everyone would get bored and head back to what's available now.

C'thun's Eye Beam hits you for 3864596 (3 resisted) Nature Damage. You died.

@AceyBlade that may be true but you couldnt just get all your epics in a week and go fight c'thun in matter of a week or 2.... you had to start from 5mans and get some good gear... then do ZG/aq20/ubrs and get better gear. then finally get MC down which required FR sets for the tanks and rep to get them which took along time.. oh ony too but she wasnt too bad... then you had to finish BWL which took another 3-4 months and everybody had to have that flame cloak for a fights.. then you go to AQ40!

I like how they didnt copy all of these raid mobs and bosses back into ordinary Quest mobs like in Bs-Wotlk....

Agree I've full cleared AQ20, I'll have to do 40 sometime, hopefully the pug won't run into C'Thun death beam. :/
