I like it in this order 1. Stormwind - cause its proud and epic 2. Silvermoon - cause its just really great 3. Ironforge - makes me feel like iron 4. Thunder Bluff - peaceful, yet uplifting 5. Orgrimmar - if you need a war theme, thats it 6. Undercity - perfect type of musical sound 7. Exodar - reminds me of the Draenei lore 8. Darnassus - cause its good for the area
this was the first city i ever walked into, and its still one of my favorites, even though im an exclusive member of the horde. I do like it better than silvermoon city.
the intro to the song is the best part..strolling up to darn on ur night elf and looking up at the massive arches and columns and the music plays...truly awesome.....
Oh, being there in the seventh year - and just being there because I was there the last six years -, I still like to remember those first steps i took in this huge world back in 2005. It was my first MMO and I was stunned by everything. This world full of atmosphere, everything to explore, just being a small, nameless creature in it so much other people experiencing the same thing. I started with a night elf and when I stepped into Darnassus the first time, it was a blast and much more.
I play horde, but my first ever character was a Night elf druid, and I remember walking into Darnassus for the first time at level 10. I was absolutely blown away by everything, and replaying this tune has bought back some lush memories for me
4:54 - 6:01 Damn, I dont think I've ever had this many shivers down my spine before, isn't that just the most beautiful yet unsettling thing you ever heard in WoW? And at the end, it simply leaves me at a loss for words. Probably the best thing I've ever heard in the game...
Before BC, the mages use to make portals to IF after the raid, but I specifically requested Darnassus at times since the city and music are so underappreciated.
My very first character was a night elf druid. I walked into Darnassus back in Vanilla, heard the music, turned to my older brother who was helping me and said; "I think I'm in love."
I'm partial to Undercity but that's just because i love green goo. Darnassus is really shiny to me, but it does have its perks (Ancients wandering around, good music)
Humans > Only still existing race in the modern days. If you consider Starcraft to be the eventual future of the World of Azeroth, then the elves and what not died off
I remember when i enter Darnassus with my Elf, was a female because i think they act more gracefully and elegant on their tiger mount than male, like Tyrande Whisperwind ;) And than this amazing music at the beginning 0:00-0:40... Just goosebumps music :)

You've never been to UC? They have a whole moat thing filled with glowing green goo. It's the best. Whenever i go there, I feel like I'm being digested by god.
I finished with wotlk. Playing from 2004 to 2008 i started as a NE druid. Got many server 1st boss kills. Back in vanilla, in pvp only priests(shadow) and shamans could give a resto druid a hard time, since they could remove all the hots(no lifebloom untill BC)
this brings be back. i remember leveling my hunter way back when i first joined. that was when TBC came out. so much fun. WOTLK wasn't as fun and blizzard knows it. they hope cataclysm will go better because you will be leveling in the old environments.
i usually listened to the st on here, then i turned it off, hooked up my ipod on my laptop and listend to that...when it got to a sucky song i would travel to teldrassil and darnassus to listen to there st
i never understood why there isn't anybody in Darnassus.... always in ironforge or SW.... of course that was in TBC so maybe thigns have changed.. but imo darnassus has the best music
