My all time favorite zone in WoW. Even now, when I have quit the game i still come to videos like this to remind me how awesome some of the things in that game were to me.
I miss nagrand :(, it was/is the best zone ever. The most beautiful place ever made by human kind. Whoever in blizzard came up with that idea of making it, must have a great creativity and fantasy, kudos to him!
I wish I could live in Nagrand. The brightness kind of reminds me of like a Mario nintendo game with all the grass but it's amazing. I'd live on one of those platforms in the sky, and just admire all the beauty.
Sometimes I'm so into the game that I just forget or take for granted how amazing some of the music is, especially in TBC. Nagrand however always struck out to me. Mining Ore there for hours on end to make money really made me sit up and notice. Great music that made an otherwise repetitive and lengthy task very relaxing. This is great, though the daytime Nagrand theme is even better.
This is simply amazing. When I visit this zone, I feel isolated from Azeroth knowing that this zone is at another planet and I feel like returning home (Azeroth) but at the same time this zone is just beautiful.
good to hear that other people like the natural zones too. it's just not that you need to wipe out alliance + demons + whatever, but it's you practically alone with the nature to survive in. comes as well with the grizzly hills, my really favorite, especially from the music.
Best are in WoW. Full stop. Everything is beautiful about it. The rolling hills, the monstrous kodo traversing the plains. The little floating islands. *sigh* Didn't spend enough time in this place.
Love this music, love this place... that music reminds me farming eternal shadow for days and days for my first epic cloth things... wow. good ole times :,(
In someway is incredible tune also reminds me of Storm Peaks... Dont know why... But man o'man i am just leveling a Tauren Druid, and i can't wait to quest in Nagrand. One of the most epic places in the World of Warcraft history in my opinion!
i got 17 songs from this soundtrack.most of the music is so soothing, u know? but every time i hear it, it brings back memories...i want my own computer SO I CAN PLAY AGAIN, DANGIT!!
Me and a few defenders of halaa used to have joyrides on our epic flappers around Telari basin after a well fought battle at Halaa, Good times, Which no longer excsist...
@GrandmasterTigerfist Main reason being for most people is that it was the FIRST expansion pack, so many new things like the new trees, skills, Flying mounts, bosses, 25 man, etc. This was a shock and aw experience for everyone but with WOTLK it was the same thing again, new skills, new trees, new land, etc.. Nothing that we've already experienced so there was no shock and aw Value to it.
This is my main's home. So many years spent roaming nagrand, waiting for the first Horde to open the portal so he could go home. Damnable bronze flight messing with his timeline.
I like it how on my server theres a big world pvp in helfire i love it, and oh i go to shat and mount up my nether drake, just for the feeling of the good old days. Nagrand and zangramarsh are my fav! The best of the best soundtrack has to be in zangramarsh, its so unique and perfectly fit for the zone, and it was extremly fun leveling there with that music
I never got sick of BC. I loved it. The zones there were very kool and the music was epic. Nagrand was my fav zone. I dont like wrath much so i took a some time off the game, still am, going to play agein in May on a new account. I stoped playing in Jan. The BC wasnt has mad as ppl say it was..
After reading Rise of the Horde while i listened to this; it kinda makes me want to live like an Orc. I mean who WOULDN'T want to live in Nagrand? Most beautiful zone in WoW.
Nagrand is pretty insane. DEFINITELY the most beautiful BC zone, with Terrokar not far behind. Yet I find the simplicity of Westfall more enjoyable actually.
I loved this zone so much while it was a 63 -65 zone I stayed there till around 67 grinding rep with the Kurenai. Or pvping in Halaa I really hope with cataclysm that there are some lore quest that take you back to outlands. *.*
I think all WoW players wish they could Just play it forever I know I do haha. It's an amazingly well put together game and it'll always be my favorite.
everytime im in nagrand and hear this music, i look up at the sky and admire it. Thinking of shooting up at the planets and nether above and find alleria windrunner! :D
Entering Nagrand at night, sitting on one of those floating rocks and hearing the first 30 seconds of this piece makes me feel there is a beautiful place of equality even I can enter. It doesn't matter whether or not it is fantasy, maybe I can't taste or feel the world on my skin, but it exists. Even better if you have a good mate who's as bored as you :) Effect lasts until you enter Dalaran, the city of AFKers, and see the flame and the chat plagued by gearscore and other meaninglessness.
I didn't really get into WoW until BC came out, and even then, the only dungeon I ever did in BC was Hellfire ramparts and Blood Furnace. I really regret not doing any of its end-game material, such as Black Temple or karazhan.
The music in Nagrand... seriously, when I fly over there, now that WOTLK has been released.. it feels rather empty. Halaa used to be a fighting spot, now it's obsolete... it's so empty there now... Leveling there with a handful others in the entire zone... maybe my best gaming experience ever?
@derbigpr500 Zangarmarsh is one of the coolest places in all WoW. Nagrand is also great. But the best of it is that all these zones are totally unique and original. WoW opened a world of emotions for me, like no piece of art would ever be able to accomplish. I got a USB stick with all these soundtracks and when Im driving in my car and I listen to WoW zone music, even the real world feels epic.
So amazingly beautiful. I'd always been a bit disappointed in the music for WoW, feeling as though it never had an "epic" enough feel... they really outdid themselves with so much of the music from Burning Crusade.
Outland was definitely WoW at its most original. Hopefully the expansion after Mists will return to the more high-concept stuff that lets the artists shine.
@Skandalos May i share you something with you yes man May i share something with you Yesterday i went to the forest for mushrooms and i have taken my headphones and played the music in elwynn forest and it was raining a little and i felt like i am there in EF and everything seemed sooo ... there's no words to explain but it was a fantastic experience for me and i'll never forget it like how you said it "even the real world feels epic" :)
@CaptainOvious123 At least the balance is somewhat back, but I agree, BC was the best expansion there ever was, especially as everyone had their content to get happy with, and they didn't get access to ALL. Did you notice any Karazhan raiders crying about not being able to go to sunwell? No, because they knew it wouldn't happen. Now blizz attempted to do so, and now everybody know it will work.
@DreamingRecluse Wrath just simply felt uninspired. Everyone's going to have his/her own opinion but the best memories I had on wow were in BC with the outland zones being infinitely times more unique than the ones in NR. The outlands basically felt like an epic expansion for your character. Even the dungeons felt right. As for the music, I personally never got into much of NR zones' songs except for Grizzly Hills; the song had a nice fit into the atmosphere.
It's highly possible. I know there have been a lot of rumors about the new expansion after Mists of Pandaria being "the Burning Legion", but alas we won't know for quite a long time. All I know is that a new planet is sorely needed. We've had two new continents and a revamped Eastern Kingdoms/Kalimdor since Burning Crusade. I think it's a safe bet that it will be next. Plus it'll go back to BC type stuffwhich is what many people have wanted for years.
@Posterdude95 with the new azeroth outland is definitely my home. it was more or less before anyway but now it's confirmed.. outland is the new BEST PLACE IN WOW
Nagrand in my opinion was the best zone made by blizzard. Its just one fo those places where you can sit down and just listen and look I still do it at level 80 WTB BC again :(
me too man im on Aion, it feels very different and i think of wow still... =( cant work out if i am really enjoying aion more or just enjoying the change from wow. i'll prob return to wow no doubt but social this time! no more life control
oh my god .... this were memories ! i played wow for 2-3 years, ist was the best game eeveeer, then it started to be boring.. but is miss it ! :D but now im going to play Aion ( A New Online Game ) Aion is very close to WoW ...
Nagrand is beautiful. I wish I could live there. Not to sound like a spammer, but The Barrens is a wonderful place too. IF YOU WANT, check out my tribute video to the barrens.
Nagrand, Ahn'Qirja, Winterspring.. best world of warcraft music... jeez... zones must be Ahn'qiraj and nagrand too, everything just, matches. And old classic naxx. Aq nad naxx, how much work did blizz put down in those two isntances? Some of the best instances I have ever been to. and what is this now? at lvl 80 naxx? lmao? did they run out of ideas and got lazy?....
GOD DAMN IT I need to stop listening to WoW music or I'll get back in it.. Even if all I did was hanging around doing nothing, watching landscape and listening to musics.
i dont care if i sound nerdy or anything, but, i fucking love Nagrand it is one of my most favorite places in WoW. and before anyone makes the smart arse reply...yeah...i might fucking marry it..:P
