I downloaded this (again) and thought I'd give it another go. Wargaming has somehow managed to take what was once a fun and highly enjoyable game and magically transform it into something completely crap. Fortunately, deleting the game takes even less time than it did to download in the first place.

nice unlimited ammo, just imagine you have a 30 or 50 mm kanon and you can fire so long you want...

I don't recomend using the zoomin/sniper feature while capturing a sector because you can't see your surroundings so enemy planes can attack from behind and to just keep getting closer to your target.

I switched to war thunder a while back. The World of genre just doesn't feel realistic. I like the x-ray in wt and much more. I hate the health bars, main reason I left.

The health bar is acceptable at World of Tanks and World of Warships, but I don't know if it should be on planes as well. I would rather play WT than this even if WT is harder.

The combat is just so so so casual! Maybe someone enjoys that, but for me aerial dogfights are all about the intensity, simple and difficult tricks to gain the edge, knights of the sky jousting, seeing who will play chicken and will be the chicken, if they manage to live that long, the cold blooded and brutal nature of dogfighting! This really doesn't have it for me, but that's me, someone else might get kicks from it. Although bots were there mostly in that mach. But still, the indignity by getting killed by a bot.

Dude try smashing your wing on a player with low health it will low your health too but dont smash your wing ontoanother plane if you have really low health you will die yeah thats it btw nice vid!

give this game a realism option, remove all those HUD pointers and let players feel like real WW2 pilots!!

Need to update World of Warplanes . Game mission should be to destroy enemy fleet carriers with destroyer cruiser and battleship escorting it . all players(both side) will control there individual war planes. during game players could choose next one after there planes get damaged. it looks more real than world of warship carrier mode. it could be more exciting defending or attacking . for reference watch MIDWAY movie

Hi, im coming from WoT, sorting through the comments and i got some questions... are they really bots ? like some or most of them ? Is WG open about that ? also does it get boring fast ? or there like a bunch of different modes n such... I know i dont have the patience for WoWS so i came to look at this... seems kinda plain to me. No pun intended.

I just hate how the players of wt and wo games are roasting each other and there is almost nobody who can say that both games are well made and for different types of players.

I uninstalled WoW and I wanted to remind myself what it was like. It pained me to see it go, I had so much progress and I did like it. PS: use I-15

so, I dont like so many negative things said here, because first of all, I felt same that way about the game, before I actualy started to play it as my relaxing MMO, you know I was playing MMORPGS like Lineage 2, Aion and WoW, GW etc, than I stepped into WoT back in 2011, was playing it together with War Thunder (first arcades, than realistic, later simulators with joystick... and ground battles for some years) and WoWs from beta until new soviet cruiers after soviet balanceships. WoWp looked like a little shit sandbox game compare to War thunder, now think about gametime spend.... and when you dont want to make MMOS first thing in you life, you can play World of warplanes, wich is when you go deep into it something like MMORPG FPS shooter with working mechanics, with some nice tactics, builds, things that you learn and they work, some ridicolously OP shit and underpowered as same as in every game, but it is overaly very enjoyable relaxing and rewarding gameplay... talk whatever you wish but I got registered in 2013, was laughing than how stupid it is, came back after game went almost dead with 1-2 players per match at 2019, and from than until now i got arround 1600 battles, somewhat 20 free premium planes from chests, about 3 Tier X etc.... and I pretty like it... You know, things that spitfires are naturaly turnfighters, but zeros turn even faster are the same things as for war thunder, as for much more things about specific airplanes capibilities, so with knowledge from war thunder you will do even better in wowp.... Yes there are some stupid unrealistic things that are just stupid, but they are stupid for a reason to be balanced... But overally, people actualy play this game much more in 2021 than it was year or two before, and when you got a battle with 5v5 and rest are bots, you know, people are somewhat stupid to do what they should do, when you command team with F keys as for attack this, or capture that, defend, bots actualy obey you commands and do this no question, so you have somewhat responding team a couple of players that play this = pretty enjoyable hybrid of a game.... even war thunder bots were much more idiotic, same as War thunder in the state that it is now. You know, in the end of the day, do you want realistic war ? go outside and shoot and do some millitary bullshit for your country in foreign lands and call it freedom, after those years of playing games, Im ok with a game that is actualy a "game". Based somewhat on millitary vehicles with some competetive feel into it. Ultimatly, every great game after some time went into bullshit mode and became stupid, WoWp is stupid from the start and thats something you cant break. You dont expect too much but in my case, its above my expectations.

So .. no ammo limit, no weapon overheating, the planes just explode at 0hp (I guess making parts of the plane falloff when shoot would be to much effort for the programmers) .. 'the wing is repaired'? Just like that, in the air? Did the pilot reach the damage with his extra-long tool :D ? And then just hammered away? Look man, you're wasting your time, play Warthunder - if you'll try, you'll never come back to this.
