Why does everyone have such a huge problem with hp? Yes its complete bullshit if it comes to realism but makes the game so much better. I dont want a random bullet to detroy my plane. I want a system that gives me repeatable outcomes so I can choose my tactic accordingly. If you dont like it dont play it. But stop hating everywhere so we will get some more players for WoWp. Send the guys to the gulag who completely ruined WoT with pay to win.

Traylay, the problem with HP is it ruins gameplay. You won't get destroyed by a random bullet if you are not shot at (except for a few curiosity cases, where some guys were destroyed by artillery shells dropped on tanks) -- but if you hit an enemy, you at least expect damage being done to the part you hit, not some energy shield around. You choose tactics not based on how many hitpoints you expect to remove, but on actual combat maneuvers which lead your opponent into your fire solution (without getting into someone else's one). That's what all aircraft combat games are about. But the worst part is absence of the usual flight physics in WoWp. It makes all these tricks that make air combat beautiful and interesting obsolete. If there was somewhat real flight physics, it could bear even the hitpoints and almost absent damage model, but without it it's just empty.

I already play up to Jets in War Thunder. It's often extremely frustrating and I just wanted a plane game to play that is uncomplicated and fun. I found that in low-tier WoWP where I regularly get 9 kills.

I meant you should try either games out in the case you haven't. I had lots of fun in both games. Though in terms of frustration I have more frustration getting pilot sniped on WT. Where as WoWP I can get frustrated not being able to kill the enemy plane despite having only a few HP left. I kind of stopped playing both for awhile though.

If you don't like jets in WT just go down to Rank I and grab an I-15 and destroy noobs. I-15 bias FTW.

Some people play it 'cause of 'realism'. I knew a guy who thought he knew everything about all sorts of different military aircraft and how to fly real airplanes from playing this game. I actually have my pilot's license and my dad is both a flight instructor (who taught me) and a competition aerobatic pilot who's won some serious awards. Oh, and he built a Cassutt (A small, crazy fast and nimble homebuilt aircraft), which is where I get my internet handle from. My mom is also is a pilot. As was my grandfather, who didn't fly in the war (Not good enough eyes) but worked on P-38's. I got my first airplane ride when I was less than a month old. I'm a huge WW2 warbird buff, and have gotten rides (And since I have my license) gotten to take control over some awesome radial engine WW2 trainers. But because of insurance reasons I couldn't do anything more than a wing-over =( Really wanted to fly inverted with an open canopy, or try a loop...(I can do pretty damn good loops, by the way) but that's neither here nor there. But then this asshole of a 'friend' tells me I'm wrong about things that I *KNOW* (Both as a pilot and a WW2 warbird buff) because he learned it on World of Warplanes. I try to gently correct him, but he just keeps going on and on about how aircraft perform in this game. Until now I thought you at least had a cockpit view, not some type of arcade 'behind the plane' view. Holy shit. Sorry for ranting for so long but damn, this game looks so arcady....God damn, just watched it again. Is there no stalling in this game? And what the hell is boost? Do they mean afterburners? And engines and weapons being overheated? I just...what?

But it is the truth. If you play WOWP, you suck and you think war thunder is hard and it not.

" War Thunder" is very Hard, Hard play and Hard get planes , world of tanks is Normal play and normal XP for planes :)

So that comparison makes sense actually, arma has bullet physics and time to fly and drops, while cod plays on a instant shot and no delay system. Where as warthunder has actual plane physics and this game doesnt, the phsyics in this game is virtually non existant.. how in fucks name does a plane fly like that? Even a f14 tomcat cant fucking fly like that.. lol but the only difference in the cod vs arma is cod is actually playable.

I agree with that but WT sldoes have an arcadr mode for both tanks and planes. I also think this game has more jet aircraft than WT (take this with a grain of salt though)

War Thunder is way better than World of Warplanes. However, the goals inn WT are totally stupid. In domination mode, you have to land on an airfield to cap it. Otherwise it is base bombing and ground target bombing. Killing other planes does not move the progression bar a micro meter.

@Adarviroh Fan Belarus Not true really. On much older vehicles info is easy to find. On newer they make educated guesses that generally are pretty good. But in wow they just straight up use hp. Got your jet hit in the engine while at 110% throttle? No problem darling, you just lose 100 hp. In wt you just blow up or burn up/ all fuel burns, really incapacitating the plane.

@Adarviroh Fan Belarus Yes, its modules with hp, but they allow to more realistically simulate battle and you can even live with all of them in the red (white-yellow-orange-red-black=unusable). So, a hit to the engine, for example, weakens it, destroys it or sets it on fire, while in wow thats just doesent happen and plane performance remains constant until it breaks, while in wt that just isnt the case.

Ok, first of all, tell me where is the P2W in WoWP XDDD. Secondary, the game has changed drastically, so judging it by a 3 year old video is worthless. And the last, I realized long time ago how pointless are wars "Gaijin vs Wargaming". Both sides have different interests, but some kids just won't ever get along. One cannot understand the goals of the other, so they throw stones on the other side and vice versa. That's just so sad.

@@worldofreplays9035 its not a one shot, that depends on the caliber. if you have a 50 cal (this is from my experience) you can 3 shot a plane. if you have a smaller caliber than 50 cal, it can take 5 to maybe even 10 shots you can only get one shot if you get hit by a high caliber tank cannon or if you get pilot sniped

I did beta testing for this game cause I had high hopes. They wrecked the flight model and controls of the aircraft with one patch and never brought it back. When WG even admits it is a failure, there is no point trying to play"bar rescue" with false compliments.
