World of Warplanes - P-80A | A Fun Plane 

Amazing plane. Of about 8 tier 8 premiums I've got this is an absolute favourite. The one plane I switch to if I just want to win. 23 kills top game. Love this plane.

Great Video! An affordable (through gold and current discounts) and great premium, probably the best/easiest to use tier 8 solo seater. No need to buy expensive stuff for irl money. I'm actually surprised that WG allowed an in-game hangar premium plane to become so good.

With the buff of the american machineguns this plane has now the second biggest DPS of the tier 8 fighters in the game. The first is the chinese JLA that is much less forgiving plane that the P80. I played it a lot a long time ago before the specialisation patch and in these old days with the right equipment it was even more agile than it is today (if I could remember well it could turn in 9.8 sec for a 360°. In good games it prints credits also. Glad that you're back by the way.

That was a fantastic battle to showcase the P-80A. You chose a battle where the AI red bots were more aggressive so it wasn't a cakewalk LOL of a win although at the end your side was able to shoot down all 12 red planes. This is most typical (unfortunately) of the battles I get into because of the normal extreme shenanigans of this game and you get two thumbs up from me for choosing this battle to show the P-80A capabilities. Very well done. I only had a little over 15K of gold last weekend so I was limited to one premium purchase so I got the RB-17 bomber and I ground out enough FJ-1 plane xp to finally (after 2 years into this game) get the F-86A. I won't be spending any more on this game until Wg completes their move out of Belarus (for personal reasons). Since I love the 50 cal guns on the F-86A I'm sure I'd like the P-80A fighter as well. When I was new to the game I watched a lot of vids by you and veebat and I put uprated engine on most things as per your recomendation. But since then Ive found the boost unit better than the uprated engine in pretty much all circumstances. It cost me a lot of time and effort to rip my gold uprated engines off my favorite planes and replace them with boost units but it was worth it. The loss in boost duration isn't much compared to the big increase in boost and top speed. Roll for engine cooling to regain boost faster Heck my vampire only has like 4s of boost but the booster gives in neck breaking acceleration so its still more than worth it.
