It always makes me laugh when you see players complaining and calling objectively strong ships like the Balti "weak". There are strong ships I struggle in, but I realise that's because I either don't play them enough to know how to get the best from, or just don't fit my play style. It's ok to not like strong ships, just don't blame it on the ship. And when you're double up-tiered, you can't play as if you're top tier, which applies to any surface ship. Some of the most enjoyable games I've had is when I'm double up-tiered but manage to have a big influence on helping my team win. I never understand players like that. If you're that tilted you see the team list, immediately throw a hissy fit and throw your ship away as quick as possible, then hang around it chat winging, then you can't be having fun. Here's a Top Gear Top Tip: Games are supposed to be *FUN*. If you're not having fun, take a break.

At the beginning, I kind of sympathized with the Baltimore in this replay. ...then he kept complaining. And continued to complain. He didn't really stop. (For the record, the Baltimore is probably one of the best tier VIII cruisers in the game because of 27mm plating and a stealth radar, which no other USN cruiser gets)

Y'know, the guys who whinge about their tier VIII ship being in a tier X match never seem to have a problem with the matches where they go up against tier VI ships...

To be fair to the carrier, I'd bet that he had already started moving forward because it looked like Extremz was coming left around the Island and then Extremz turned right instead. Carriers are not exactly known to be able to stop on a dime and go into reverse and that's probably why Extremz caught him in full reverse when he came around the island.

I live in constant fear of appearing in a jingles game of throws video, not as a main character, but as the side character who does the throwing.

I don't think the enemy Chkalov at the end threw that hard, it's just that extremzz managed to bait him. Extremzz was first going to the left side of the island so the Chkalov naturally started going around. However, extremzz turned at the last moment and was now going to come towards the Chkalov, which he trusted to be going clockwise around the island. Even though the Chkalov knew immediately what extremzz was doing, getting a ship to stop and go the other way doesn't happen that fast. He almost managed it, but not quite.

"I didn't even know the Azuma had secondaries!" One of my proudest accomplishments back when I still played this game was getting a Close Quarters Expert in my Kiev. 😄

To be honest, the Ohio did a smart maneuvre at the end, pretty much staying on course to go left around the island and deciding fairly late to go right. And that was too late for the CV to react. Your point, Jingles, would have made sense had the Ohio not maneuvred.

Benson must be the typical AFK case, you hit full throttle, go to the loo and when you come back, surprise, your ship has sunk. The problem must be somewhere between the chair and the keyboard...

Actually extremzz baited the carrier by aiming at one side of the island and the switching and going around the other side. The carrier was clever enough to want to stay on the other side of the island, but he was wrong footed by extremzz which is why he got caught.

Actually Jingles, the Kearsarge would be classified as an Aviation Battleship.

Today I had a match where the entirety of my team got angry at one singular aircraft carrier and rushed him at the edge of the map and left my little tier 4 destroyer to handle the rest of the enemy team and flip caps. Needless to say the enemy team mowed down my team within 6 minutes of match time. Noone followed my orders or even acknowledged my spotting. One guy on voice chat just said the carrier needs to die because he's a "Shit player for being a carrier." Absolutely ridiculous. I just felt the need to share.

The Chkalov didn't throw. It was Extremezz quick right turn just before he got to the island that won it. The Chkalov was probably already moving forward to go around the island and had to slam on the brakes and reverse because Extremezz turned right instead of left. Also note that in spite of what Jingles was saying, the Chkalov was completely deplaned and coming out with only one aircraft per squadron and getting it immediately shot down.

With that amount of IQ, I'm wondering how the Baltimore guy can turn on his PC.

I have mixed feelings about these sort of games. It means someone like Zenosi actually gets a win out of it, despite their every effort.

With how LONG it takes to go from tier 7 to tier 8,9 and 10, the fact that those players are STILL calling ""HAXS!" fills me with sadness. If a Player don't learn to play at some point between tier 6 and tier 10, I'm sorry but their is NO HELPING YOU! ALSO Jingles, did you forget that Europeon DDs have some of the BEST AA in the game these days? Even British planes fear them, and those things are flying TANKS!

I hate it when people start bitching about being bottom tier in the chat. Yeah, the MM isn't perfect, but it giveth and it taketh away. When people are top tier they are usually perfectly content with it and think it's now fair because they are against "their own tier", but that's just the opposite side of the coin, and they are just as much against ships 2 tiers lower than them as they are against ships 2 tiers higher than them when they are bottom tier. You adapt to the situation, and if you are actually any good at the game, you can usually actually make difference anyway. Suiciding to get to the next match in turn is just childish, pathetic, and not really sustainable if you want to play this game. Like, one third of your games are gonna be like this, your brain is just gonna explode if you make such a big deal out of it every time. And this donkey decided to call one of the best t8 cruisers a shitbox :D

Holy smokes the Iowa called him a cheater because he got a double citadel... on a broadside battleship well known for its vulnerable layout. This whole game was the definition of a clusterfuck of window lickers.

Watching the Ohio bounce that many shells on the bow in Yamato was infuriating. Aim. For. The. Superstructure.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the Balti captain is a weekend wallet warrior. He bought the Alaska and thought the entire USN CA line was similar. So he's been grinding (read: buying his way through) the line, angry that the higher tier ships haven't gotten "better." Or! He's a BB main who thought that a WoWs CA is a faster firing, more maneuverable, only-slightly-less-armored BB.

The Halland is the one ship - certainly the one destroyer - in the game that can go after CV's with relative impunity Jingles. It actually has AA.

Does the guy not know how scary the Des Moines is? Or the Worcester? American cruisers are lethal if played right.

Oh man I thought it was gonna be that Flambass Felix Schultz game when I saw there was a new Game of Throws - this was another great surprise 😄

Even though the enemy CV threw the game, it's hard to blame him. CV players know nothing about PvP. They are the dumbest players on the map typically, because they CAN be and still be the best and most impactful in the game.

As a cruiser main, specifically an American Cruiser main, I am insulted that someone would accuse the US cruisers, at higher tier at least, of being bad, at least I know how to play Balti or Cleveland in a T10 match when push comes to shove, and that is, you play it like youre on your last life.

I think Jingles made a small goof - no team had two carriers, unless I missed it? One had a carrier and a hybrid but he noted the hybrid also.

problem for the CHakalov, was he was spotted, if he ran south, he'd have given braodside to the other ships.

The most impressive thing is that the Baltimore actually got 3rd least base XP on his team despite trying to throw.

As Thermalions said, Venosi gets a win despite his crap attitude. That should have been embarrassing to him ...that his team won without him..but you just know he's the kind of kid who will never take ownership of being a turd, and will continue thinking(wrongly) that he knows everything and people want to hear him b*tch. Those who complain about matchmaking are usually hypocritical malcontents. Never ever complaining when they are on the "better team". Life is not fair. One person, one team is always bigger and better. Lack of challenge = lack of growth. All games are played for the thrill of the challenge to overcome. The bigger the challenge, the bigger the thrill. This needs learnin'......when the chips are down, It's a winning attitude and fighting spirit that overcomes. I think the Balti was complaining that if he hugged islands he'd be killed by the CV, likely true but he would be pulling the cv away from other things. Simlarly nothing to stop him manovering. Balti's a great ship. Vanguard's actually not a bad bb if you handle her well but left on your own in a Tier X game you're going to feel miserable. If he doesn't like Baltimore (Which I loved when grinding that line) he's going to hate Buffalo. Impressive levels of stupid in this one... no tsurprised.

Just to be fair, Trying to hug islands in a match with a CV won't keep you alive for very long.

That Iowa seriously complaining about getting 25K damage while he gives broadside? Bitch, I oneshotted a full health T10 aircraft carrier in my Minnesota from over 25 km away. And he wasn't even giving broadside. He was tucked behind an island, convinced that he's safe. Guess what. He wasn't.

I swear, if I was in that Baltimore's situation, I would make the most out of it. I wouldn't cry about it. I may be at the lowest tier, but the Baltimore is no slouch. Played in the right way, she's deadly. Also, the dumb fuckery of some of the battleships in this replay disgrace the sailors of all those that had the honor of being on them. That Iowa had no right to say "Cheaters, cheaters, cheaters!" when you are sailing broadside to 3 enemy battleships. 2 of them armed with the ever reliable 16-inch/50cal MK-7 guns and 1 armed with 18-inch guns. That's a no-brainer. Good glory, the stupidity NEVER ends. Anyways, great video as always, Jingles. Can't wait to see the next episode of a Game of Throws. Now that I think about it (it might sound a little outlandish), this Game of Throws series is like the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly on World of Tanks you used to post. Both series are pretty solid.

I've heard the hate for aircraft carriers and their drivers: HOWEVER JINGLES, the AI that "drives" a CV is horrible; and even if the CV player had taken direct control, his maneuverability in that CV is atrocious. Give the captain a little credit. I'm sure he was doing what he could to run away from the Ohio at that point. Ragging him for his poor driving is not really fair. Love your channel, but you do like suggesting "idiot" when it is more "victim of circumstance". One could argue that he should have run away earlier, but that was minutes earlier or he would have been spotted in open ocean. He had to GUESS about the timer. He was only off by 10 seconds. Considering his decision would have had to be made 4 minutes before...not TOO bad.

About the Baltimore: having unlocked it just recently, I gotta say, it's a HUGE upgrade from the TVII New Orleans (which is not a bad ship, but the Baltimore is just that much better), so yes the Baltimore capitan was in a TX battle, bit he was in a very good ship, so I don't get why he's complaining. I mean, if he wants to not be outclassed, he should only play TIV and lower to get that protected matchmaking (which is one of the few good things that WG did). Otherwise there is no excuse to complain

I know jingles likes to harp on CVs, but the Halland is not an easy target for CVs. That thing’s AA is no joke and can and will deplane CVs, particularly lower tier CVs, if given the opportunity. The Chkalov is also one of the worst CVs to hunt DDs with because of the arming time on its torpedoes and the dispersion on its bombs. Against any Soviet carrier, just nose in and the skip bombs will most likely miss, and the Chkalov’s dive bombers have trolling RNG with their circular drop pattern.

As a wise old Jingles once said, "Even a tier I can kill a tier X........it will just take a very long time." If this Baltimore Captain had any sort of sense, they would of realized that even at tier VIII, you can kill a tier X, you just have to be a bit more cautious about your placement on the map...ah Tryhards and Giveups, never change.

Sometimes I watch Jingles and wonder how many people in said battles would do well if not for RNG, IMO Overpens and Subs are the 2 most ridiculus, and both are a huge factor why most BBs want to change maps while still in the match. I do not consider myself a great wows player but when I have 68% WR one day just to lose most and end with 27% WR the next is a ridiculus. Especially where i have matches like today where i was Overpening and Ricocheting on a broadside Roon and then Albemarle while they move from one hill to another 9KM away from me. I was in a seattle, nothing against the ship I played but WG game mechanics are just bad. I literally do not think WG is capable of making a good game. Even Orion is medicore at best most positive reviews mention nostalgia, I admit that Wows was pretty good at first but it was plagued with bad Mechanics from the get go and instead of fixing the bad mechanins WG just adds more often even worse mechanincs in all their games. Ps. I do relize not all my shots are perfect but i can see how good my aim was by general area where the shots land, and when I see 9 overpens 5 richochets and 2pens on a light cruiser right into his midship aimed right below the water line because a dude run aground broadside to my Jonbart 5km away and the above result happens I literally learned to just play something different for the day. Because when RNG wants you to suck you will suck all day.

For the life of me, I have no idea why people crap on HMS Vanguard, she’s an excellent ship. I look forward to tier X matches when sailing her as it has a lot more hit points to feast on. And because you’re a tier VIII, you’re usually largely ignored, even when sustaining a high fire rate, until late game. I get more consistent damage in her than any other ship. The improved AP isn’t bad and the HE is Monarch’s with better accuracy and is an absolute hammer, even to tier X battleships. She’s fairly quick, very maneuverable, and rewards good positioning.

TBH this guy is just about avg. He kept shooting the bow of the Yammy like he was expecting to overmatch. Turns broadside multiple times to Monty when he shouldn't have. If he didn't have high HP starting out that duel, he would've died. Also, why is the secondary range so low? I see that he has secondary build. Was it without range?

I actually disagree with Jingles in regard of the friendly CV. It is up to debate if he moved too late, he arguably did, but if we ignore that, I think he actually made a good decision. He was pretty much caught in open water with a Halland chasing him which had support from a Montana and Venezia (at the start). So running in a straight line away from them made his profile much more narrow which makes landing significant hits for the Monty and Venezia much more difficult. Also he probably simply bounced most of their shells thanks to the armored flight deck anyway. another benefit from running into the corner was, that he didn't provide a good angle for the Halland to torp him. With running straight away he probably only took one or two per launch from the Halland instead of eating all of em. And finally with driving into the corner he baited the Halland with him. It's a big difference in regard of the factor time, if the Halland has to drive from A10 into C or from D10. If he wasn't up there he would've got C cap much sooner and would've eventually got the chance to sink the Kearsarge (maybe) or attempt to cap B. So even if I can't judge if the CV made his decision with these arguments in mind or if it was simply dumb luck, I would argue running up there was a good call and helped them, at least, secure this win.

I take people whining like that Baltimore to mean that they suck and they're trying to preemptively justify, or rationalize, why they died so fast due to: 1) the ship sucks or 2) matchmaking sucks. The whole "I'm just going to suicide myself for the next battle" is a preemptive justification for why they die so early in an attempt to hide how bad they are.

sorry Jingles, I gave up on WOWS yet again due to the BS mechanics. No matter how I angled my Iowa, the premium BBs would cit me. I've played a long time and just like WOTS, wg has managed to fuck it up yet again.

The baltimore is a very potent CA. Even when facing t10s, Just know how to use the fukin ship. US CA's are great and they can bounce lots of AP with the 27mm plate it gets.

That fight against the yamato was kinda painful. He could have aimed at the superstructure..or loaded HE...but he basically just did 0 damage with his main guns pumping AP into the angled bow for like 2 minutes.

I took a Buffalo, popped out from an island 5K from a Yamato an got a citadel hit lost 1/2 of my health to secondaries. However, it was spotted by me a was mopped up by an Iowa. If in a tier 10 battle in an 8 or 9tier I tell every one LEEEROY and rush to the nearest cap circle to radar it.

To the Baltimore player, it's a bad artist that blames the brush if their painting is bad. Just saying. Treats and scritches as always. Hugs and high fives too. 🐈🐈‍⬛👑✌️🖖

Because the game rewards damaging up-tier, I go into extra-crazy-try-hard-mode when my t8 gets tossed into a t10 match. Do you think the folks complaining in chat ever see themselves on this channel?

If Extremzz had shot that Yamato with HE, or even AP, into the super-structure he would have sunk it minutes earlier and the Stali would have lived. Not sure how you bounce over and over and stick with the same plan. Anyway, a win is a win I guess.

technically, the enemy team has 2 potential radar cruisers, Cleve and Mino, not that many Minos take radar, but hey, with 5 potential radars, 3 on 1 side and 2 on the other isn't that bad I wouldn't say the enemy CV threw, it is difficult to get a CV turned around in a small area, and the Ohio turned to where the CV was last pointing, and that Island wasn't particularly big, it is likely that the CV wouldn't have made it into cover in time to not be caught by the Ohio Also, did anyone else notice the Kearsarge get his first cap ribbon, the Navel Warfare: Tactics says it all, and he took 2nd

You know, it's kind of sad but this is basically what weekends look like at the moment. The sheer amount of dumb floating around in matches is staggering. I know, I know, WG says we shouldn't call our potatoes potatoes because it might hurt their widdle feewings and they won't spend money, but ... holy shit, are the potatoes ever potating.

The Halland absolutely made the right call by going after B. He could see that his CV was going to get killed, and stalling the second cap bought him time. He needed to kill the Kearsarge to secure the win, but it's hard to kill a BB quickly with Halland torps. Dude was probably cursing his team for throwing away the massive lead they had early on

You aint see nothing yet 😏... Mostly do the fleet stuf and storyline things to save up money for the T9. And just started with the T VI french BB line and damn that ship is so fucking great. There even much more fun then the RN Battleships !!! Great secondary's and unbelievable good main guns. It's just fun to play them !!!

The Baltimore guy is utterly bad. Not just in Baltimore, in every ship type. And in every tier as well including tier 2. His average dmg in Monstana is less than my one in Wyoming....

Extremzz could certainly tell what direction the carrier was facing. He knows where the CV is, and by where the planes are appearing he can tell the facing. There was no way the CV was avoiding getting shot in that situation.

Tbh…. The friendly CV could not easily run south with a Halland and two enemy ships in firing range, if it turned south it would give broadside to both the Halland and the enemy BB. That would not have ended well, maybe moving south earlier might have work but not at that point. And if the CV turned south earlier it would on top have been in reach of the enemy cruiser also. And the next CV tried to do the running thing but people underestimate how fast the Ohio is and how quickly it can turn so it had to reverse suddenly and try to run the other way, keeping in mind it had ben slapped badly already. Its simple.. life is tough. youre playing against other people that are doing their best in a tough game. Complaining is the easy thing to do but just makes you look like a sheeter.. the old saying' get good' may seem harsh, but you have the BEST opportunity to step up and get better for your own benefit as well as the team. A t8 in a T10 game gives you an opportunity to get a much better score if you just play it right. Is it easy? dont play this game if you want easy.. anyways.. id rather lose a T8 ship and do ok in a T10 game than be a t8 in t6 game and doo poorly.. you have no excuses either way. Just play and do your best.. dont cry about it

sometimes when I play world of warships,i sometimes have jingles,voice in my head saying stuff like that’s a minotaur or this and that. I sometimes think what would Jingles do at this point of the battle!😂😂😅

good display of why a lot (not all of them sadly) of Cv players play Cvs and why WeGe went for the cv-rework the way they did. Just too lazy and/or dumb for anything else, but with a giant need to "own" and shit on others. While the cv-rework didnt do the company any good overall, they surely know how the mind of a certain type of online gamer/human being works. It#s funny, sad and appalling at the same time. These are the guys , who cant play a game like Civilization without using cheats. Just too lazy to bother with the details.

one thing that never made sense to me in this game is, the game stats say your shells are flying anywhere between 800 and 1000m/s however, when you shoot your guns to a range of say 10km for example the time to impact is closer to like 5 seconds which would mean the shells are going minimum twice what the game stats say XD though i understand it not being that "slow" since the skill curve to lead shots would increase exponentially but i just find it funny

Of course, the Baltimore is a 44% win ratio and the Iowa is a 45% win ratio player. Of course its not their fault they suck, its the matchmaking or the ships fault!!

Don't forget, people - this is nothing but a video game. You don't take a video game seriously, ever. There are no idiots, stupids or unicums in video games. Games are made for people to relax and have fun, not to build responsible careers, they have real world for that. But i guess, some people have to treat games seriously, because that is all they have.

I recently got the Baltimore. The first battle I had with here was tier X and I was the only T8. The DD layed a smokescreen for me and a tripple Colbert division, after we annihilated the flank I had the right hunch about what happened in the central cap and radared a Shima and we took it down from full in 12 seconds. Then the gane of playing around islands really got going. I ended up with the second most base xp on the team. I think its a recurring pattern that the first game in a new ship is blessed.

A 1Line player greeding for the CV rather than playing for map control..... Never would have seen that coming.

I don't think the Halland was trying to win harder. They could see the position and direction of the Ohio AND the friendly carrier, so they could guess the carrier was doomed. So they go for the cap, and it just isn't enough.

11:50 I can understand why the Chkalov did what he did though. Going south would mean exposing a large amount of broadside, while spotted by the Halland the whole time and no prospect of cover for at least 3 minutes of sailing, to the guns of a Montana.

Jingles I don't know if the Irony of this is lost on anyone watching this or not but I know for a fact that it is lost on the idiot that was in the Baltimore. As My main line of ships is the U.S. line. But his so called POS. Was better armor skinned then the Cleveland is. That out lasted him. All be it ever so slightly.

Far be it for me to doubt the official wows/youtuber party policy and yay for your preferred p2w ship today ..... that being said .... . The cv chase mid game and the Yamato fight after it are a good example of damned if you do and dammed if you don't . If the cv turned to reunite with the rest of the team gives perfect broadside for the Montana and a nice target for the torps , then this guy will go that's a paddling and laugh .

No point rolling the chat back Jingles, can't even read it ingame, the text throughout the game is too small for me to read. In fact it's the reason why i do not play other popular games online. It's OK for the youngsters who program the games not so much for the failing eyesight of the elderly.

The crying about how bad US CAs are(which they are not) is pretty funny. I have redone both US cruiser lines multiple times and they are my second favorite lines next to the Italian cruisers.

I swear as these seasons of Game of Throws Continues, everyone in each episode progressively has more shit injected into their brains each time, and by god I can already tell, the sheer stupidity is only going to get worse from here, but more entertaining. Anyways cheers jingles!
