I think there are 2 reasons for this: 1. They spend so much time typing crap in chat they simply don't have time to do anything useful 2. They are accounts played by Trump during his "executive time".

In his defense, the Bismarck DID catch a Gearing torp first, then got killed by the Thunderer. Also in Jungles defense, at least he didn't call the not quite deadly Gearing Torp a Daring shot or a Yamato secondary hit.

Oh well, in HER defense, Friesland is a very hipster young woman who don't need no torps to be a giant pain in the ass. First thing I met in my very shiny, very new Freddy the Great was an angry smoke screen with one of her lot inside and I didn't like it. Spanked her ass. Wouldn't have done that if she was underage. Watched Flambass's posting of this on his YT channel. He was having the time of his life. His commentary during it was hilarious! When he came around the corner and spotted the carrier he was taking aim for it, but then the Des Moines popped into view and, well... You have to watch it. You'd almost swear he was high on something..lol Have enjoyed your videos since I re-discovered WoW last year and someone directed me your way. And you sent me scurrying off to find Flambass. Now you two are the ones I watch the most for the entertainment value and the tips I've picked up. Can't wait for your Captain to show up in game as I will definitely pick him up for my Mino.

4:52 I never understood WG's decision to make the American 406mm guns so inaccurate considering in reality, thanks to superior US fire control systems, the North Carolina and Iowa class battleships had extremely accurate guns. So accurate that the Navy didn't find it necessary to upgrade the Iowa class's targeting computer from analog to digital during the Cold War.

To be honest, as easy as Flambass made that look, it is still difficult to do well in a T10 match on WOWS in a T8. It always is. But given Flambino's skill (and the possibly overpowered Massachusetts) this kind of result does not surprise me in the least

Superstructure is too thin and too vertical for bouncing the shell downwards. What happenned is his AP hit GKs secondary turret, penetrated it, then internally bounced on the angled turret front and went right down into the citadel below it. This often comes with a knocked out engine as a bonus. Most affected: GK, then Monty / Ohio, then a bit behind them Conq / Thund.

That however only seems to happen to the GK, I at least had the exact same thing happen to me and went to sell my GK in pure rage. Never received any penetrating citadel hits in any other german BB before

@@TheWuerstchenwasser From my humble experience: I citadeled a Bismark with Prinz Eugen. Not even a broadside, but from behind. 5km range, and he was sailing away, 4 hits from Pr.E. forward guns, 1 cit, 3 pens

@@TheWuerstchenwasser GK I think is probably the best in the line, although the Gneisenau and Bismarck are close behind. You take citadels from very few guns (except this case, which is a very very rare occurrence). Basically the only guns capable of it when you are broadside at anything other than very long range are the Kremlin and Yamato, although I've also taken a citadel once from a Republique under similar circumstances.

From my experience, you gotta either be at extreme range (18+ km) or so close that your gun barrels are kissing their broadside.

People keep claiming that the Mass's guns are inaccurate. I have yet to see any evidence to back that up; pretty much every shell Flambass fired went where he was aiming. Meanwhile every salvo from my "accurate" NC forms a perfect circle in the water around my target.

Mass' guns are less accurate than a NC's or Iowa's. By design of the game. Slightly better dispersion, and noticeably worse Sigma. That is, they tend to miss somewhat LESS wide, but a lot MORE long/short.

I just start playing Warships about a month ago been with WOTs since Beta and wanted to do something different and I have noticed so far the higher up the Tech Tree I go the more Inaccurate the Ships become I hope it doesn’t get any worse? I’m at tier 5-6 with one Prem Tier 8 and it’s been fun but the Accuracy of my Tier 8 Prem is very frustrating that will be the Massachusetts I am so Disappointed and Deeply regret buying it, I kinda wish I had gotten the Tirpitz instead they cost about the same but some of the higher Tier ships @ $77 is ridiculously over priced I’m thinking I will just grind out most of the Ships I want on the Tech Tree

To be honest Jingles, giving broadside in light cruisers is the most logical thing to do nowadays... there is a higher chance that the enemy will get over-pens that dmg...

Des Moines, Hindenburg and Ibuki are no light cruisers. And even light cruisers can be citadelled from longer ranges because the armor becomes more effective. Just shown by the Edinburgh.

An over penetration that damages makes prefect sense from a real world view. I mean as the term suggests it's a shell that goes clean through its target. And depending on what part of the ship it goes clean through should determine the damage. Going clean through the superstructure , meh. Going clean through the deck and out the keel , should cause at least minor flooding. Going clean through a turret , should disable it. Going clean through the powerplant, dead in the water.

Well I am assuming the shrapnel created by such an event would be lethal to any of the crew on the deck. Likely might damage some of the more fragile things scattered about the superstructure. And if the shell doesn't deform too terribly it might ricochet and pen the thinner parts of the armour or superstructure.

Dont forget, flmbass is almost always in the perfect position at the perfect time. He has a firm grasp of mechanics, can aim effectively. Is a positive influence on his team (most of the time) Yes he has flags and captains and sometimes luck. But for the most part, he makes his own luck. I hope you understand that and aren't just stupid or salty sour.

The Massachusetts is my favorite ship. Also the ship where I have my strongest win rate. Yep, I'm a 45 percenter potato, but my Massachusetts has a 56 percent win rate. I only wish my German battleships had the same accuracy as my Massachusetts. They'd be more enjoyable.

Some of my best games come when I'm bottom tier in my Tirpitz. I think the fear of being the low tier causes me to play more cautiously and be more strategic with all those flamethrower cruisers and DDs in tier 10 looking to turn any BB, especially German, into free exp. The rain of fire that normally comes with tier 10 matchmaking is what makes it so unappealing, even in a tier 10 BB. I can live with less survivability and guns, but no amount of health or armor can save you from this meta that causes nonstop fires.

You can do it in a Yammy fairly easy, in two cases: right through the bows or stearn (you do overmatch much of both) and the turtleback doesn't defend against this at all, OR via plunging fire down through the deck and overhead citadel armor. It's a bit harder for both than other ships, but still a fairly common occurance. This guy, getting a citadel from a 6km shot while almost completely bow-on, is a failure of WG's code. There's nothing less to be said: this is a BUG. Not an "unfortunate" occurrence, but an actual CODE BUG that it is allowed.

I don't tend to discriminate against "pink" players, mainly because half the time it's more than likely they've just done something wrong by accident, we all have those days and I understand that. (it's happened to me) but obviously if they are blatantly making an arse of themselves then they deserve everything that they get.

I think the shell at 10:55 just penetrated the weather deck‘s armor and went into the Barbette of the Nr.3 Turret. The Citadel Armored deck is too thick and at too steep of an angle for it to have penned that i think. On a US BB it would have been possible, since their Citadel armored deck is only 19mm wich is overmatched by all BB guns. Great Video!

Pretty much, I happened to be watching this one on twitch and almost LOL when I saw the Black Mamba being bottom tier, then it slowly dawned on me, this is a) going to end up on Jingles if he pulls this off and b) Flambass really is at a different level than 99% of the players on WOWS, very much including myself.

Its sad that the Gearing only became 7th in the team though he played so cooperatively (capping, gaining spotting damage, torpedo spotting, smoking, etc.)

But Jingles, I thought Iowa/Montana had the mark 17 guns which were longer in caliber and had access to super heavy shells compared to SoDAK/NCal’s Mark 16’s

4:27 - "Shots out from the 16 inch guns of the Des Moines..." Actually Jingles, the Des Moines is on the red team and is a heavy cruiser with 8 inch guns. It just absorbed the impact of Flambass' 16-inch Massachusetts guns. You are truly shit...don't ever change! :-) I know, back to the salt mines.

Folks who complain about being tier 8 in a tier 10 WoWs game annoy me because 1) I play WoT and 2) I’m a mediocre player at best and I feel confident in my ability to do well in NC, Tirpitz, Bismarck, and even Implacable at bottom tier- just don’t play them like a tier 10, be cautious and smart. Play like a cruiser.

The amazing amount of unbelievable RNG that he gets in battles is just absurd. Sometimes this game is so fake that it makes the WWE look real. LOL WOWs = WWE LM(F)AO and yes I do watch the WWE!!!!!!!!

Actually Jingles.... I think the GK got citadeled because two of the shells hit the back of his aft turrets: either penetrating the turret, or the barbette. I don't think, though I can't prove otherwise, that WG has implemented a shell deflection system that complex into WoWS, that something like you described could happen.
