Quick easy ways to improve WOWS. reduce draw range on spotted by aircraft ships, DD's by 50% range, CC 70% bb's 90% Introduce rewards for random positive awards ingame, they already have the karma system, if you are a ship doing your job very well and get karma you get bonus exp/credit boosters to offset the loss of exp/credits from playing objectives rather than trying to farm dmg, put an ingame video to introduce players to this system that playing closer to objectives will also give you Objective points which also increase your final score, and if you never got X close to an objective its a negative reward say 2% based on how many rows away after 2, but if you sailed and spent time inside caps/near enemy caps you gain 4%+ and of course the system wouldn't be enabled for CV's and subs. I'd also just remove detonations from the game entirely it serves no purpose, and if code allowed i'd give ships aimming at a ship broadside onto them a dispersion bonus every half second that ship remains broadside so if somebody flauts their side at you they get whats coming.

if torps are not locked onto anything they REALLY should go in a straight line, keeping their curving tragectory is trash.

I still don't know how an unmoving afk fully broadside Pensacola ricocheted 3 full salvos from my Dunquirque at less than 8km. Then several months later 2 matches back to back. Yamato vs Cleveland. 4 km range in both matches. 4 salvos of 6 shells= 5 bounce+1 Overpen x 4 = 20 ricochets and 4 overpens.
