Yeah, at @18:53 it seems like it goes back to normal levels. I think Hingles was just leaning back too far away from the mic and only leaned forward when things became a bit more interesting

It's not that hard to control loudness, there are systems for that. EBU-R128, ReplayGain or at least RMS-based normalisation (in contrast to peak normalisation, which is poorly suited). Please integrate one of those into your workflow.

Well played Crysantos And fightingest ship was a title given to HMS Haida by the state of texas (I think) for being heroic anyways they rescued survivors I believe. Thanks for the videos Jingles.

Ooooooh Canada ;) it is nice to see a destroyer i grew up vsiting as a child and still today as an adult getting attention. She used to be by Ontario Place but sits in Hamilton Harbour today where I boat and fish. She is still an absolute gem. I have a photo of her in Heddle Marine Drydock getting repairs too.

Wish I had the replay of the game I had last night in the Kidd. 5 torpedo hits, 2 floods, 91 main gun hits, 7 fires, 2 caps, 7 cap defends, 8 spots, 28 aircraft shot down, only 1 single kill and it was a devastating strike first blood on the only enemy Destroyer. He shoildn't have parked in his smoke for those torpedoes to find him

Well, seems i'm not alone withe the issue that the intro is overall louder than jingles actually commenting the course of combat :/ Even a relatively young man like me had to use his JBL GO 2 speakers to get enough volume to understand what jingles is saying. And no: my ears are fine, i have no problems even hearing the earthworms sneezing. From the other end of the salt mines to the entrance. So pls Jingles: We from the salt mines would deeply appreciate our overlord gnome checks the sound issue and fixes. Thx in advance

Honestly on the Akatsuki, I think one advantage of japanese destroyers is the fact that most of their turrets are rear facing, it allows you to get some distance on your opponent while most of your guns firing on them. Might not be a huge advantage but hey anything helps

When in doubt send in some Crazy Canadians. I visited the Haida before they moved it to Hamilton. It's a beautiful ship. It's sad that we didn't keep the HMCS Ontario (i.e. HMS Minotaur), or the HMCS Bonaventure as museum ships.

Hey Jingles regarding your comment about japanese destroyer captains who don't use their guns if they aren't in a akizuki, kitakaze or Harugumo, it's most likely that they got their guns pointing in the wrong way and their gun turrets turn as fast as the Kremlin's 457mms. Yes imagine that. A 127mm gun turns as fast as a 457.

That BB should have pushed instead of pulling back. Once he knew that the DD was in there then he could have charged him and shot him full with HE effectively winning before he dies to torps.

Also can you do a favor. Show us how to spot in a DD. I suck at it. I always try to stealth torp but get spotted by DD I didn't know was there, or get hydrod, spot me, knock out my engine and I am a sitting duck. PLEASE HELP. Ty

Look at the other ships in the tech tree that you'll face in battle, and check their concealment, compare them to yours, and memorize which ship will outspot you and which won't. Also memorize which ships have hydro equipped, and what range. Then, in minimap settings in battle, turn on the "detectability by sea" which will show you your detection radius, and press p to disable the AA so you're not spotted from the air by planes, and then using your knowledge, decide which target you want to fight, whether or not that ship outspots you in any way, and plan an appropriate course of action. Good luck!

As far as the detection I do have it on but in the heat of battle I focus too much on my target "to not get too close turn to torp" and lose attention of what is around me "my fault need practice". You are right I need to memorize who has hydro etc. So what can I do when for example there is a DD that can out spot me? I guess that is my question. Thank you again.

I would love to hear you take on Submarines! Both from the Sub and Surface ships perspectives. While I have only played a few games, I've sunk 2 subs with my Leander. The Leander is also great at hunting Destroyers. So far I have found playing subs challenging and sinking them not difficult.

Not enough time, take a look at the points. By the time I would have arrived at A he would have flipped both C and points. Not a clever move, I needed to block and take the risk. He seemed like a rather careful player during the match so I didn't expect him to push.
