Thats Me! :) Thank you Jingles for featuring me… my best game ever … even though it was even boring for me the first couple of minutes but thats the new meta I guess That was a hell of a result. Unfortunatley no battle result screen as I didnt know its not saved in the replay, but 3689 base XP Tbh… i was so pumped with adrenaline the last couple of minutes that I completely forgot about the fun button… and yes - I was quite lucky about the inability of the enemy cv… but hey - doesnt happen often 😬

His friendly CV should be given a compliment for being the co-MVP in this game.

Neat trick I learned about this ship, use your combat instructions while in a position to use only half your guns and then when it goes on cooldown, switch it back off and pummel the enemy with the guns from the other end of the ship. It requires planning and a little bit of luck but you can ruin 2 players days in a matter of about 8 seconds.

That command screams "I need this DD I didn't see coming dead NOW!"

A CV player refusing to play the objective and ignoring any notion of teamwork so they can farm damage for themselves? In WOWS? Nooooo!!! I've never heard of such a thing occurring... (Yes, I do realise the friendly CV did play for the team, but that is the exception rather than the rule)

Based on the amount of "Jingles moments" in these videos, I'm inclined to believe they are actually intentional. Have you ever played a game, where you need to read words about color, like blue or yellow, but they are all colored wrong. Like the word yellow is colored green, but you have to say red, not green. It seems like Jingles is doing that. He sees a Saint Louis and his reflex is about to say Saint Louis, but he has to say something different, so he says "Annapolis". Truly, a brilliant mind.

I prefer playing Annapolis with range mod, doesn't affect that massive DPM as much. In this campy meta its really hard playing a supercruiser with a crappy range of 16km.

Face it ! Flubber . . . Flubbed it ! He may have survived this. And he may be the guy at the end. With the most kills, and damage. But he still flubbed a great many opportunities. He could have used his party trick. Too have helped out his team a lot more. He also could have saved some of his precious lil hide in the process. That being said. He was not alone, in flubbing this battle. His Team were doing a vary good job of that on their own. If he had used his party trick. He could have killed four other ships quite easily. Without suffering quite so much damage. And saved a number of his team mates. one of the Targets was the Ohio. One was the Forest Sherman, that he did get. He just coulda gotten it a lot sooner, and quicker. And the other two were one of the other DD's, and a low health cruiser. And he would have had plenty of time for his 35 + second reload in between all of them.

Why would CV's that have ignored DDs and just farmed damage from tier 4, all of a sudden become team players at tier 11?

The "F" key is not combat instructions. It's just an alterative fire mode. Many T11 ships have this. Combat instructions are only on the pan-american cruisers and they give you a 80% reductions in cool down on radar/repair/hydro when used. :)

(Most) Cvs and their wonderful understanding of the game… It's almost like being in an OP ship not having to worry about the game or anything else made them unable to grasp any minimum understanding of the game. Oh yeah, WG would destroy subs for you too, it would be to hard to do anything else than flying… P.S. That GK broadside could have been a good use of the special button. Maybe not allowing her to shoot and reduce damage 🤔

90% of the time patrol fighters ignore any planes that happen to stray inside their very limited range because they only attack what's directly in front of them and most of the time they're not looking in the right direction. They also have something like a 5 second startup period when they're dropped where they cannot engage planes, so trying to drop them right on top of an enemy squadron is pointless. Outside the fact that they can spot they're pretty close to useless. Catapult fighters are even worse because they do not intercept incoming planes, only attack them after they've made their run (if they engage them at all). CV players have zero respect for catapult fighters where patrol fighters will at least will keep them outside of the circle in most cases.

3 times I would have used the DAKKA DAKKA button: when the forest Sherman came around the corner, when the GK came around the corner (possibly could have killed him without letting the GK gets salvo off), and the carrier.

The only CVs with Fighters that are worth a dame are the French Carrier and the Enterprise. The French CV has TOUGH fighters that can actually take damage and the Enterprise has 12 planes per patrol.

Burst damage makes sense, since the people doing the ammunition handling can work harder for a short time, but then they are going to be tired, and can't safely work at normal speed for a while. It's one of the skills that actually make sense in real world terms. A lot of the skills and perks in the game make no sense from a real world perspective.

1:58 "oh look, thats nice, the friendly Shimakaze laid a smokescreen for him". Yes an absolutely disadvantageous smokescreen, either completely useless because it was thrown out way too early and nothing was in range to shoot at, or even more stupid because it only blocks vision for all the ships behind her AND she doesn't have that escape tool when pushing the cap. And as the attentive viewer can see, not a single teammate was even able to utilize the smoke. Lesson to learn: You do not just lay your smokescreen as a DD when your flank is not pressured. 2 salvos coming your way doesn't count as getting pressured. Please Jingles, don't reinforce absolutely atrocious DD player skills. Both Shimakazes were subpar, the central one could've survived way longer if she kept her smoke for an actual useful situation, like a surprise Halland appearing.

I had to watch the part where the CV dies a few times. They should make a CV do 30kts to be able to launch planes.

Could have gotten the Kraken if he used the burst fire at the end. Or could have missed the kill and needed to wait a 40 sec reload. But yeah it's just there for the show for Annapolis.

AAA does work ok at mid tier. The WOW fighter planes prior to Version 7 (the original CV setup) also worked well. Pity that the CV rework made the carriers so bad I sold off all my CVs due to being TOO hard to use.

Makes you wonder that if within the game mechanics they could keep rolling up the tech tree so to speak. Super is T11, and they could just keep going....something to expand the game save more subs, and they never do enough maps/ modes.

I used to be like that enemy CV player until i realized that xp and credits arent calculated on damage done, but instead on teamplay and percentage damage done. BB's dont give much xp or creds, so i now avoid them until i have everything else dead

There were several times where he probably should have popped that burst. with the cover he was in and the fact often he only ever had to turrets able to fire he could have taken out rather than lowered the health of at least 3 ships over the course of the battle and not been overly effected by the "long" reload after (honestly it is only like 40 seconds, BBs have to contend with that literally every shot so hardly a long reload, long for 8in but not compared to the damage output of that burst when compared to similar reloads). Remember: any time you aren't firing your guns is time you could have used the burst and been reloading it without actually decreasing your damage output because you weren't shooting anyway. Could have killed the forest sherman the first time he was spotted crossing instead of when he closed to knife-fighting range which would have saved some health. Could have avoided that nasty hit that nearly killed him when the bourgogne smartly swapped the HE because the bourgogne would have been dead before he got the shot off. I get it, the 40 second reload is scary but not using the burst just because the ship naturally fires fast makes you take unnecessary damage, and since you are a fairly lightly armored cruiser that is just asking to eat a citadel hit you could have avoided if you bursted the ship you were shooting at down. Good game and all, but boring as hell, 7/10.

Interesting to note that the justification for Flubber not using his radar on the B cap was the assumption that the enemy Halland wasn't there and couldn't be shot at - an assumption that was wrong and could have been corrected much earlier with radar... Or did I misunderstand the situation?

That might be one of the biggest problems i personally have with the carrier rework, the fact that you can't have fighters any more you can control yourself, but instead this shitty patrol fighter consumable, which is completely useless against enemy bombers. Back in the days before the rework you could for example go for a fighter setup and being able to control multiple squadrons of fighters with strafing ability and so on. If you were good at it, you could render the enemy carrier completely useless, shooting down all of his bombers right after they left the flight deck. Now carriers aren't an effective counter against other carriers any more, which makes them an even bigger pain in the ass for the other ships. By the way, the burst fire mode of the Annapolis may be activated by pressing "F", but it is not a combat instruction, just an alternative firing mode. You don't have to activate it by hitting targets multiple times.
